So far so good. The bikes are in someways better than Vinx, brand cause they are lighter, and can be pedalled on flat battery, if you take it out, But most importantly they are 100%v legal, however t... See more

Bad service

The bike I rented always had issues switching modes and turning lights on/off, then I had issues with the battery (and thus the bike) turning off randomly and they tried to blame me saying I was charging the battery for too long (which is not true. I never charged it for longer than what they told me to charge it for).

Eventually I got tired of the persisting issues so I bought a different bike somewhere else and went to return this one. At the time of return I was blamed for breaking the battery which has a minor crack on the top end plastic bit, but they can’t prove the crack wasn’t there when they gave it to me the first time, or that they didn’t break it when they had it for a whole day for a service. They took photos of the bike before giving it to me, but conveniently they don't have photos of the battery condition. Their only "proof" that they gave it to me in perfect condition was: "It's a big no no for us to give a broken battery to someone, so it couldn't have been us". They say that the crack is not wear and tear either, that it could have only happened if someone dropped the battery, but i didn't drop it for sure, they can't prove they didn't, and I was charged $100 for battery repair costs. Ridiculous.

The bikes for rent are wasted, noisy, and then you have to deal with all the nonsense, so if you can, just get your own bike or rent somewhere else.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! Use other alternatives like port e-bikes! They are much better in literally every way.

1) Extremely predatory behavior: The company lives on overcharge their customers. I got a bad bike (that I didn't use, they can see it in their GPS) that I had to change but they never gave me extra days for tolerating the bad bike and charged me. Every time I have been to both of their London location, they are always hustling some or the guy.

2) Horrible customer service: When I left with my bike (I got it when the shop was about to close), the bike stopped working while I was riding it and the customer support was completely unresponsive. Its the same with their physical location. Their staff doesn't care about customer service (probably because they are understaffed).

3) False advertising: They advertise one price and give another when you go at the location because there are hidden cost. They never have extra battery or rear box.

4) Terrible bikes: Their bikes can be hit or miss, its up to luck. Some or the other problem will occur with their bikes if you aren't lucky enough because they don't care.

5) Punish them for scams: If you faced similar problem, you can take them to small claims court.

Amazing service on my first bike…

Amazing service on my first bike rental, also had some technical issues with the bike some times but these issues were solved perfectly by the staff. They also heard everything I had issues with and understood my struggle after the servicing the battery issue was solved but another issue popped up with the gps of e bike. The gps was also replaced while servicing the bike. Another issue of the application was smoothly communicated with the support staff from the application, after some days that problem was also resolved.
I genuinely like their after service feedback process, in which Richard ensured that the problem was resolved fully.
Thankyou Richard
Cheers

Zoomo Bike battery blast

My friend have a very disappointing and concerning experience with Zoomo-E-Bike. On 21-01-2025, the battery of the e-bike blasted unexpectedly. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but this kind of incident raises serious safety concerns.

The quality and safety of the product seem not up to the mark, and I strongly urge the company to take responsibility and address such hazardous issues seriously. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Zoomo E-Bike until they improve their product safety and reliability.

Zoomo Battery exploded

last year in 10-december-2024 i rented a bike from zoomo and after 3 month on 21-2-2025 the bike battery was exploded. The explosion caused damage to the room and created a serious safety risk.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but it could have been catastrophic if someone had been nearby. It effected my whole apartment and in this incident i lost my all documents, money, accessories and all other stuff now we are suffering from mentally, emotionally and financially situation. We contacted Zoomo's customer service right away, but the response was disappointing - slow and not very helpful.

For a company that presents itself as a reliable brand, this experience was unacceptable. Battery safety should be a top priority, and this incident raises serious concerns about Zoomo's quality control and overall product safety.

Very bad experience I hope I never rental this company cycles

I took the cycle yesterday 10 minutes after two o'clock when I came home with the cycle when I checked its battery and put the battery on charging, the charging was not working. Let a guy come out with a bicycle and then his charging point doesn't work, I mean the charging cable and the other point of his cycle in doesn't work. Please tell me how someone can work like this. Please forward this message to the head office. It's the worst experience of my life in the UK. I take a bicycle from a place and it breaks on the same day. because it is not working it has a hundred kinds of problems neither its gate changer is working nor its battery is working nor its charging is working so what will I do by keeping it and my working days are lost because of you guys and from where I received it. There isn't a proper person working there. One thing I had to get a reason for is getting me at ten minutes past two.

Excellent customer service.

I have been with zoomo for quite a few weeks now and I tell you it is excellent riding with their bikes and whats more excellent than that is their customer service. The staff are really kind and helpful even when I used to show up without any reservations.
