I have had three pairs of Rockfish wellies over the past couple of years - Walkabouts and Groundhogs - and they are the most comfy, warm wellies I have ever had. I must be a glutton for punishment though, and I am gutted to report that not one of those pairs has lasted more than around 12 to 14 months. My first ones split within 6 weeks. The company replaced them with no problem but the replacement pair went the same way eventually (around a year later). I bought the Walkabouts in October 2023 and they survived until around a week ago when the sole came away from the uppers (14 months). I see the guarantee has now been reduced from 12 to 6 months. I wonder if this is because they WILL fall to pieces before the year is out?! If you don't mind replacing them every year, I can attest to the fact they're very warm and comfy, but just don't expect them to last.

I wore Muckboots, but thought I'd go for a change and buy Rockfish. Never again. At first I thought they were great, however, it was short lived. After about six months of hardly any wear at all, because it was summer months, splits appeared in the fastenings at the back of the boot. I sent an email to Rockfish and was offered 20% of my next purchase. I declined because I knew I wouldn't be buying anymore they looked so insecure, and cheap although not cheap to buy. Had them two years now and today the soles, on both wellingtons, have separated from the boot. I have now gone back to Muckboots. I've had two pair of Muckboots and both pair lasted years without any problems at all.

Edited: Note reply from Rockfish. I said, 'after 6 months of very little wearing there were splits in the fastenings.' Now, after two years of very little wearing the soles have come apart from the boot.
