There was no quibbling when I put in my claim even though it was for the full amount on my insurance. The vet submitted the required forms and I received prompt payment.

I made my first ever claim on Pet Insurance of any kind with this company. It was a seamless easy process with my Vets forwarding all details after I had filled in the required data on the form before handing it to the Vets.
I subsequently received my reimbursement within the next week with no hiccups or problems etc.
Thank you very much RSPCA Pet Insurance for your professionalism and extremely competent manner in dealing with my claim.

Our Lab sustained an injury while playing fetch and required overnight anaesthesia, stitches, and antibiotics at the out-of-hours vet. The claim was accepted within 3 days and paid within another 3. No hassle for us at all, which left me astonished and grateful and with more time to take care of my dog wearing his cone of shame for 2 weeks! We'll see if it affects the premiums when it comes time to renew next year but as a first-time claimant I could not have been more impressed.

Up until today, I had been a customer of RSPCA pet insurance for 2 years - but I have now cancelled my policy.
Their service is dreadful and the pet portal does not work reliably.

Took my money and then put a load of exclusions into the policy after the start date, despite me contacting them beforehand to ensure they had everything they needed. I was aware some treatment from the previous year might affect it so wanted a heads up in advance. Too late to go back to old insurer sadly so I'm stuck with a policy that covers literally nothing.

They were extremely helpful and made the whole claiming very quick and fairly easy once I found my way around the app. They emailed and told me exactly what I needed to do.
The claim was agreed within a very short time. Money was paid quickly as well. Such kind and compassionate and professional staff when speaking to me on the phone.

I have 14 month spaniel cross. Premiums are affordable at the moment. Dog was very poorly resulting in many tests to rule out blockages. The vet was on hand to help with the portal if I needed it but it was very simple to use. The payments were made quickly and tracking progress is super easy. This is important when you use a small vet practice. At the moment I would recommend RSPCA but I am only in my first year. I just hope this illness does not result in a high premium next year.

To be honest, I’m very disappointed. I’ve insured two cats and have been paying for the insurance for over two and a half years. Recently, one of my cats became ill, and we went to the vet. The claims team has obviously not been following up, they haven’t responded for the past month and the customer service team has ignored my emails regarding the claim. It’s impossible to reach them by phone; for example, today I spent 50 minutes on the line with no answer. I’m now seriously considering opening a dispute with my bank to recover the last few payments, as this situation is ridiculous and the insurance gets more expensive every year. If you can, go elsewhere.

My Springer Spaniel was diagnosed with IMHA, extremely low white blood cells (severe Anemia ) and had blood transfusions along with several blood tests etc. I duly went to complete the claim form for this ongoing condition and noticrd I had his age wrong, excactly a year out a genuine miske as his birthday is the 27th December. The insuance company have been great and have paid out on the 1st very large invoice within a few days. The condition is as I say ongoing but the RSPCA insurance has been absolutely great up until now.

So took out insurance 11 months ago for our 2 year old Border Collie. Renewal just came through and gone up by a staggering 55%. I called them and was told that this was correct and it could go up by much more than this (consider yourself lucky)! Apparently due to people claiming (not me or my Border Collie as no claim made) Vets fees (again a shock to a pet insurer I'm sure however out local vet had a modest 5% increase not 55%) and the risk of insuring some breeds and the dogs age greatly effects costs. When I said I could get the cover for half elsewhere the lady told me "thats how insurance works" They would probably quote me half as much as a new customer. Can't comment on their claim procedure as never claimed but this is frankly a disgrace. By the way - look out for the standard and meaningless response by

You cant claim on your insurance, if there is no way to contact them! This seems to be the business model for what is probably the most expensive pet insurance in the UK. dont bother.
update, post reply from RSPCA:
As much as i would like to talk to your customer service, I have been on hold for an hour, so no. this service puts something other than customers and thier pets first. let me guess, it money? your "charity" seems to follow the usual model of exploiting people and paying your execs large "pay-offs" or whatever language you want to use, lets call them bonuses? note this is not specualtion, re: the publicised 2016 review of your practices.
My premium is over £1000 a year for a house cat, and you cant answer the phone to me? i will never use your services again and i will make sure others understand that you are criminals, and money given to you will never go to help animals

I couldn’t be happier with RSPCA Pet Insurance! The online form was super easy to complete, and the whole process was quick and stress-free. They liaised directly with my vet, which made everything so much simpler for me. The outcome was fast and efficient. I’d highly recommend RSPCA Pet Insurance to any pet owner looking for reliable cover and service.

Honestly can't fault RSPCA pet insurance. Had a big claim when our dog became ill which was ongoing over 5 weeks. The insurance paid with no quibble and also paid very quickly. Gave us confidence knowing we are in safe hands with the RSPCA. Thank you so much.

My wee kitten broke her leg at just 8 months old, requiring a surgery, pins, the works. It was a scary situation with very expensive bills - but it could not have been easier working with RSPCA Pet Insurance - my claims were handled promptly and easilly.
