Awful communication. Avoid
I paid my deposit and had an email from them pointing out a problem and then nothing. Have spent 3 days chasing but to no avail. Very difficult to get hold of and when you do get to speak to somebody they pass the message on rather than deal with you directly. Awful service. Suggest you avoid

Don’t use !
Strongly advise against using this company. We had two wait staff booked for our wedding. No one turned up and no one answered my multiple phone calls. The only correspondence we’d had with the company prior to the day was asking for payment. I had a feeling they weren’t going to turn up! Really disgraceful.

Outstanding Service
This is the second time I have booked RubyLemon and it won’t be the last, we booked a stilt walker and LED Poi dancer for our Sons 18th Birthday party that was a black tie event in a hotel, the lovely lady could not have been nicer, she looked absolutely stunning and put on an amazing performance, everyone loved her and we could not be happier!! Hired Ruby Lemon last minute for a firework display on bonfire night. Stilt walkers and fire performance. Very quick turnaround, very accommodating and really easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.
Great service
I booked entertainment for a 50th birthday through Ruby Lemon at one of my venues. They were a pleasure to work with and the process was efficient with updates and confirmations coming through as expected. We booked fire breathers, stilt walkers, glitter artist and a magician. All excellent and the clients were blown away with the magician.
Like most, we have been struggling with staff for our events but Ruby Lemon have been helping top up weekly. Highly recommend for all things entertainment and temp staffing.

The waiting staff were fabulous. From start to finish they worked under their own steam, needed very little direction and were ultra polite and helpful. They never stopped and made the day so easy for me. I only wished they could come and work here everyday!
Efficient organisation and service with a smile
The team were very efficient and responsive and quickly sourced 2 staff for the bar for my party. Sophia and Taneesha arrived promptly, provided service with a smile and went the extra mile. Also Ruby Lemon organised this with just a couple of weeks notice.

I used RubyLemon to provide a glitter artist at my wedding during the evening do. The lady they sourced as friendly, local, and amazing at glitter. She catered to all ages and everyone looked fantastic.

I run a catering company and had booked Ruby Lemon for weddings I was hosting. After initially speaking to them (great sales pitch) I felt confident that they would deliver a high standard. I had 3 weddings in one week and had booked Ruby Lemon for them all. The first wedding I had requested 2 staff, one never showed up and the other one rocked up 2.5 hours late (we had already finished the canape and drinks reception with just the 2 of us for 100 guests - which is just not achievable nor to the standard we promote. The girl that did turn up was hungover and complained the whole time that she was tired, not a great first impression. Gave Ruby Lemon the benefit of the doubt as they did apologise and seem shocked that had happened!!!! Also, as full payment was upfront, and I had the weddings in the same week I couldn’t even cancel Ruby Lemon and book in another hire company!) They apologised and promised it wouldn’t happen again!
Come to the next wedding two days later, I get a phone call saying 2 staff have been pinged (fair enough) and I said can you guarantee that the other two will turn up, I was promised they would and that they had spoken to them that morning and they will be there. To my surprise, only one turns up – I call Ruby Lemon no answer. When I finally got through after service to advise he didn’t show up there was no apology.
I spoke to them the following day saying that it was imperative that the 11 staff we had booked for the next wedding turn up, a very important wedding – 150 guests, formal sit-down meal along with drinks & canapes reception & evening bar service), to which again I was told yes, we’ve spoken to them all etc and they will be there. I didn’t hold out much hope, but there wasn’t anything else I could do as it was a day to go to the wedding, couldn’t cancel without losing our money and other agencies were booked (obviously!)
The morning of the wedding…they had said they would confirm names the day before and I heard nothing, so I called them numerous times, left voicemails, WhatsApp’s and heard nothing. I was trying for 3 hours. I knew something was wrong when they were not answering me. Thankfully I checked my emails (not something I do when I am running round setting up for a wedding!) and saw I had been sent an email at 12.30pm from Ruby Lemon, bearing in mind the staff were meant to arrive at 2pm. The email said ‘sorry but we can't get you any staff today and only 1 member of staff will be turning up'.
I still can't believe out of 11 staff only 1 turned up, I have never heard of anything quite like it! Even the wedding planner who has been doing weddings for 15 years has never seen or heard of that happening before!
The worst part about it - to not even have the audacity to ring me and let me know but to send an email! It angers me writing this and reliving that day! There was no apology, and it took us 3 weeks to speak to someone regarding the refund as they were not picking up their calls or replying to our emails.
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY!

Poor Service
They were quick to respond to the ad I put on addtoevent, we spoke of my requirements and quotes me for 3 bar staff at my wedding, after the deposit was paid they became poor at replying to emails. I was emailed at 9pm the night before my wedding to say that the the bar staff had all caught covid, but not to worry as they'd replaced one person. Sadly no one turned up, disappointed was an understatement. It is very difficult to get through on the phone and none of me emails have been responded to, its been 2 weeks and I'm waiting on a refund.Avoid this company.

Unreliable
Posted last minute for event serving staff for our wedding through 'Add to Event'. Ruby Lemon contacted me and said they had the staff and a quote per hour and I was invited to book a call the next morning (the soonest they had available) to run through the final details for the staff member. Perfect. Call booked.
No phone call at the expected time in the morning so I went onto add to event portal, and my conversation & offer of staff availability with the Event staff manager had been deleted. A while after the expected call I had a message through saying that there were no staff available. Even though I'd made the booking the day before and ruby lemon had responded to my ad offering me staff? Unfortunately there was no time to sit and contact other Event companies so we had to rely on family members to roll up their sleeves and help out. I wouldn't recomend this company if you need a reliable company.

Terrible service and let down badly the day before the wedding.
Experiences booking barstaff for our wedding with Ruby Lemon were awful. Our wedding was deferred due to lockdown and when we contacted them to explain they were very accommodating and said it wouldn't be a problem.
When trying to get in touch with them on the run in to the return date however, we got no answers to emails, Facebook messages or returned calls. In panic, and assuming Ruby Lemon had gone out of business, we retendered through Add To Event and were shocked to receive a quote for services within the hour... From Ruby Lemon!
After a little back and forth, Ruby Lemon apologised for the mixup and reassured us they had our booking and would be absolutely fine to fulfill it. We gave them full contact details our end for the day and outline duties for the staff. Contacted them nervously two weeks prior and was reassured the staff were booked and that they'd forward contact details for them. Chased them the week before for contact details and got no response.
The next we heard was an email, at two o clock the afternoon before the wedding, explaining that 'due to covid cases' they would be unable to supply the three bar staff booked for the wedding. They hoped to have one, but 'would confirm'. We received no further messages, or calls from Ruby Lemon as we frantically tried to sort out the mess.
One girl turned up and was amazing. The wedding was incredible and all our guests just rolled up their sleeves and enjoyed stints behind the bar. Under different circumstances though it could have been disastrous. Overall the service from Ruby Lemon was shambolic and the manner in which we were let down was disgusting. Correspondence was largely a litany of broken promises and fibs.
The day was more than two years in the planning and I genuinely doubt they had managed to book any staff the week before (as they did not provide us any details). I seriously doubt they'd even tried.
I would urge anyone considering Ruby Lemon to have a plan B!

Definitely recommend
We hired bar staff though Ruby Lemon to serve drinks at our wedding after being let down by our venue. I honestly didn't think that bar staff could be a talking point but our guests loved them! They were friendly and engaged with our guests throughout the night. We've since had a lot of feedback to say how nice they were and how they helped make the evening more fun. Thanks to the guys, Teasha and the rest of the Ruby Lemon team for all their help.
Incredible performance
Incredible performance! Every guest was entertained from young children to adults.
The lady that came arrived early was friendly, adaptable to exactly what we wanted and very professional. Will 100% be using Ruby Lemon again. Communication was excellent from the start, after previously being let down by another company. So pleased I chose Ruby Lemon. Looking at what else they do for our next party!
