We ordered early just in case

We ordered early just in case, don't want our gift to be late for Christmas so had to take some precautions here. The order arrived 1 week later and we have already done a couple of test drives, works flawlessly... i'm sure our kid likes it.

Stay away from Ryder Toys

Spent $1,000 on a power wheel that arrived with multiple issues. Unable to return without absurd return and restocking fees. Customer service never follows through and is terrible to work with every time.

I ordered a drifter for my son and they sent a dirt bike. When i told them what happened, they said oh yeah we are out if stock so we sent you something similar. Now they told me to sell it somewhere and they will refund me 40%. I told them take it back and give me all my $$. I didn’t even open the box. They refuse, don’t buy here!!!!

We liked our first purchase so much

We liked our first purchase so much that we had to get a second buggy too. Mainly because we have 2 kids and they started fighting so we kinda had to. Thanks to the team and everyone who helped us with questions and all the instructions. We are satisfied!

Avoid Ryder Toys – Misleading, Overpriced, and Terrible Service

Ryder Toys misrepresents themselves as a U.S. company, but they’re simply reselling the same low-quality Chinese products you can find elsewhere—just with a ridiculous markup. Despite the premium price, the quality is subpar, and their customer service is even worse.

We received a product with missing parts and, after two weeks of back-and-forth, they’ve been unable to resolve the issue. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem with this company.

Know your rights as a consumer. Avoid Ryder Toys entirely, and if you’re already dealing with issues, don’t hesitate to escalate to your credit card provider for a resolution. Save yourself the headache.

Quite spacious

Quite spacious, I have a slightly larger kid and he fits in without any complications. 9.5/10 is fair here, thanks.

Not a family

Not a family. Two people who change their names constantly. We bought one for 800 and the steering motor broke right away so the front axle broke after about four rides. They’ll tell you that they will send parts and they never do. The worst part though is the danger. It’s jerky and too powerful. This could kill your kid.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCUM BAGS

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCUM BAGS.
They keep selling toys they can’t get parts for. My son’s car broke within a couple weeks and haven’t been able to get a part for over a year.

UPDATE:
You can see it only took these clowns 2 1/2 months to respond to my review. Their response is a worthless template of nonsense as they still don’t have an inventory of replacement parts.
I’ve exchanged emails with the owner of the company who claimed they were having issues getting parts. However, they don’t seem to have an issue taking orders for toys they know they can’t get parts for. And it certainly makes you wonder why they can get complete cars to sell but not parts.
JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY A CAR FOR YOUR CHILD ELSEWHERE.

Terrible Durability

I wanted to let people know about the lack of durability of this ride on. I have been greatly disappointed. I have had to replace the motors on the wheels 5 times and now the weld on the back suspension has snapped off rendering the $800 ride on useless. Support said I should go take it to a suspension specialist and have it re-welded. Should have just stayed with power wheel brand. Never had such problems as I have with this brand.

Terrible customer service

I have been waiting since 9/28/24 for the part ! Now the screen no longer works!! Your service department keeps saying it’s going to be shipped out. We received the buggy 7/29/2024, hardly used it. What is going on with your service department??

TERRIBLE PRODUCT & CUSTOMER SERVICE

If I could have given no stars, I would have. The $1,000 car I bought for my grandson stopped working after a month. Ryder did NOTHING to make it right. The product as well as the customer service is HORRIBLE. Strongly recommend NOT buying from Ryder Toys

3/8/25: Received an email from the company asking me to revise my review. I stick with it! The product was great for about 4 weeks, now it is unusable. Customer service refuses to send a new one or refund my $1K. Numerous calls and pictures and emails and still no response except the provided talking points from the customer service rep. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We contacted their CS team for some information and they were quick to respond. Since the product is rather expensive, I love to see how willing they were to assist us with our issue and glad we managed to come on terms!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Horrible horrible customer service. By that I mean non-existent. It's just an AI bot that puts back automated messages and never deal with any issues. I received a car it never worked. They sent me a new battery, but that wasn't the issue. Their next "fixes" were for me to go out and buy parts myself, because they don't make replacement parts. That also didn't fix the issue. The emails then stressed that they were doing me a favor by even sending me the battery because it's technically still in the warranty window. they sent me a car that doesn't work and made it seem like they were doing me a favor by communicating with me. It's been almost a year now and the car has never worked. the company has just stopped sending message about doing anything to help.

Do not buy anything from this company

If I could give a zero that's what I would give, don't order anything from this company! We paid 1000 for a truck that my son has only enjoyed about 6 months all together out of the yr he has had it the battery won't stay charged so I bought another one and it doesn't stay charged either I have contacted them several times and they always say they will return my calls and never have! The last time I contacted them about the new battery that won't stayed charged they wanted a video from start to finish of when the battery goes dead which is about 6 mis total and you can't email something that long so I contacted them again about a month ago and still haven't heard anything back!! The product is not worth the money!! I wish I would have done research before we purchased anything from Ryder toys
