Very poor customer service.
I ordered an electric car for my grandson. I started calling immediately to change the model and ask questions about the battery and how to order the free license plate. Customer service number, 1-855-793-3738. Each time I called, hitting 0, I was rerouted to the beginning never being able to leave a message. Sent an email and was told to late..item would be shipped and I would have to pay for return shipping if I wanted to reject shipment. This could be $100-$200. I am disputing on my credit card. You should be able to reach someone within 20 mins. of placing order. So sad....wanted to buy but wouldn't now. If this is the customer service they provide it could be a nightmare on purchasing. Read the reviews and believe. Ryder will not let you post a review directly with their company. Not a USA company. Parts made in China....terrible...
I have had my eye on their products
I have had my eye on their products for w while now but just recently had the chance to place my order. The delivery arrived about 5 or 6 days later and obviously right to our doorstep. There are no missing parts, the manual was clear and they followed up on us via email. 10/10 service here!
Empty Promises
I would give Ryder Toys 0 stars if that was an option. Where to start... I ordered a 24V truck in April. We received a very badly damaged shipping box and discovered parts missing. We submitted a claim and got a response fairly quickly with promises to send the missing parts. Fast forward 2-1/2 months and nothing sent. We have called the "support center" more than a dozen times and each and every time I get a promise that they will contact the warehouse and expedite the missing parts. No parts ever sent. For a while we corresponded via email with someone named "Kirk" who is supposedly a Manager and he not only promised to expedite the parts but offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. Again, no missing parts sent, and no refund sent. Several recent calls to the support center requesting a Manager to call me, and again, promises to do so, but no call back. Do not buy from this company.
All wheel drive buggy motor went out…
All wheel drive buggy motor went out within a few hrs. Also having steering motor issues making it difficult to steer. After months they sent a replacement motor which seized up after 10 min. Months more waiting to get another motor that lasted 15 min. Still waiting in the steering motor 6 months later. Worthless warranty. Do not buy

Top-notch technology for a reasonable price. We bought it already 2 months ago when the season started so we have had a lot of fun with it.
Scam - never delivered
Ordered a vehicle on June 23rd, and as of August 16th it still hasn't been delivered. There is no update, explanation, or remorse. Numerous times I was told my item shipped, or was near shipment, but they were lies. Some reference to issues at the fulfillment center and copy/paste nonsense each time I ask for an honest update. DO NOT purchase from this company.

I think the quality matches the price…
I think the quality matches the price well here. We were expecting a high-level product and that's what we got. It's also great that there aren't many small details that can break off easily. 5/5 from me.
Should have believed the reviews...
Should have believed the reviews that warned of bad customer service. Bought to units for my granddaughters in April of 2024 and one of the units stopped working within 6 hours of use ( I know this because I take care of them once a week) and within 6 weeks it stopped working. Have sent literally 19 emails with a video and they keep claiming they are not getting the video with the email so I started sending the video to them but also cc'd other people in the same email and they got it but Ryder customer service claimed they weren't getting the video. Not possible for one to get it and the other not to over multiple emails, they just don't care once the sale is made. Should have checked the warranty closer, any company that that makes a product and only warranties it for 90 days has no confidence in there product. Save yourself the grief look for another brand
Useless customer service
Placed an order for a radio marked in stock may 17, 2024.
Didn't receive it, emailed a month later, they said "it was coming in stock in 2-3 weeks", followed up 3 weeks later...they say "2 more weeks", followed up 2 weeks later...finally they just responded with "we'll send a tracking number when it comes back in."
I asked if they could follow up with me instead of me reaching out...they said no. It's now August 11 and nothing. Their customer service is terrible. I'm cancelling my order and they can eat crap
Borderline scam
Bought 2 of their cars for my kids for Christmas. One arrived without the wheel lock pin, so the car can’t be steered. The other worked fine… for 5 minutes until it hit a bump no more than 1 inch high and never worked again. About 7 months later they sent a new control board, not instructions provided and none on their website or YouTube. No pin for the steering wheel. It’s been 8 months since I bought these cars, and got exactly 5 minutes worth of it for $1,800. Of course they won’t accept returns.
Terrible customer service
I wish I would have followed the reviews on trustpilot and not the Ryder website. The Ryder website has not posted my one-star review. As others have said, customer service is terrible once the vehicle breaks, and it will. Promises of parts that never show up, delays in replies, etc.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Both for the delivery and product. The shipping was fast and tracked, no issues whatsoever.

As a female, the thought of putting this car together all by myself a little scary but the instructions were straightforward and it was very easy to be honest. I am happy I bought it and so is my child.

Toy was sent without functioning parts. Sent a bunch of troubleshooting and videos to try and figure it out myself. No word back on getting a refund. Spent about $800 on this toy and better get my money back!!!!!!!

STOP READ FIRST BEFORE BUYING
Our experience with Ryder Toys has been terrible. We purchased a car for our son, and it became unusable within a short period. Customer service won’t resolve the issue and will not ship a simple replacement part. When you contact customer service, it takes them days to respond, and if they do, they give you the same canned response over and over again.
The ongoing delays and lack of resolution are incredibly frustrating. Customer service has been unhelpful, and our son is very disappointed. We expected better quality and service for the price we paid.
Do not buy from Ryder Toys. Let my review save you a headache and your wallet money; buy from a more reliable company.
Better than expected
Better than expected! The car is awesome, faster than we thought but not too much.. it's safe in that sense but still has some power. Thanks all.
Not safe for children, smoking motor
After less than 6 months of owning our Ryder toy the back motor started to smoke and nearly catch fire while my children were on it. When I brought up my concerns I was told to revisit the “Terms and Agreement” and that I needed to test it further to see if there were more faulty parts. I did not, as I was unwilling to stress test their faulty product. I offered to send it back for them to test. They declined, which was telling enough.
Ryders team avoided any accountability and were more concerned about financial repercussions than the safety of my children; I was not. It was taken to the dump. Do not waste your hard earned cash on this scam of a company.
Got a buggy around Christmas
Got a buggy around Christmas. Before the new year 3 of the motors stopped working. Customer service said they would send the replacement. It's now July 27th and I've yet to receive them. I've called close to 40 times and have yet been allowed to speak with someone that could do something other than tell me I have to just wait. I will never buy anything from this company again
