My Son loved the Buggy so much
My Son loved the Buggy so much. Customer Service was excellent too. At first, a part of the car was damaged during transit. I sought for help and spoke to this man named Jayvi. He assured me that he will be sending out a replacement part as soon as possible. After a few days of waiting, the replacement part came and from then on… My son can’t keep his foot off the pedal.

I ACCIDENTLY KEPT AN ITEM ON MY ORDER THAT I DID NOT WANT AT THIS TIME. I TEXTED AND ASKED FOR THE ITEM TO BE REMOVED AND IT WAS COMPLETED IMMEDIATELY WITH AN UPDATED RECEIPT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC!

Fake reviews on website. Do not trust their reviews. I ship for a living. Returned item meticulously disassembled in original boxing. I even have a video of the process. They claimed shipping was $2000 and I would no receive any return money. I bought 2 and both broke quickly.

I will delete my comments if my issue is resolved. As of today, I highly recommend avoiding Ryder Toys at all costs. I spent over $800 on the AWD Buggy thinking it would be worth the premium price. Broke after 3 days. They don't have any replacement parts in stock. I have been trying to return and get my money back for weeks now and customer service continues to deny my request. Do your due diligence and find reviews by others. All the same story.
False advertising and horrendous…
False advertising and horrendous customer service. Ordered a replacement battery. Did not recieve what was listed in the images. Even when selecting a specific model it shows the battery I needed. What I recieved was nothing like what it was SUPPOSED to be. Despite their failure to advertise properly, they refused to do anything to help. All they could say was "sorry for the inconvenience". Sorry I trusted this company before reading reviews on them.

My husband and I bought a buggy for our son and we are greatly happy and satisfied with the product. Our son loves and enjoy his new buggy and we did not run into any issue at all. 5 out of 5 would recommend.

Friendly support. Good costumer service. responsive and quick to answer my questions and meet my needs. Not like the other companies. Jayvi did a very goodjob helping me and he really seems to love their brand and are about their customers.
Absolutely terrible quality control
Absolutely terrible quality control, we used our 24 volt buggy for a total of 4-6 hours over 4 days before the steering froze and completely stopped working. Reaching out to customer service with no phone number and just sending emails is awful with them sending you down every rabbit hole like checking if the battery is charged ( we have bought two and tried using both) and the car still moved forward and backward without issue. Don’t waste your hard earned money, 800 dollars for a car that breaks in a week and a company that doesn’t stand behind their product is absurd. If they believed in their product they would be apologizing profusely and exchanging it for another one. They know this is inherent in their design.
UPDATE 6/19/24:
Had a company representative reach out a couple weeks ago in regards to my trust pilot review. Offered to refund me 100 dollars and assured me that replacement parts would come at some point. I emailed today one month later asking for some sort of update on replacement parts and received no information, just that I was at the front for replacement parts. Remind yourself before you purchase the car that their guarantee to replace parts is useless as they don’t have any in stock.

I bought two of the AWD buggy's on November 21st, 2023 for my boys Christmas presents. They maybe rode them 2 times during the winter months for very short periods. Once it got warm they were ready to ride them and absolutely loved them. As a side note, 2 years ago I bought my son a John Deere gator for $400 that has had zero issues. I wanted to purchase these buggy's though for a car that could drive through anything-like snow, etc. which the John Deere gator can't do and I thought they'd have these for YEARS to justify the price. Fast forward to May 2024, only 2 months of riding these and they both within 2 weeks of each other started making a horrible grinding noise when they come to a stop. After reaching out to the company and sending videos of the issue they informed me that my warranty was up in February and that the front left motor has to be replaced on both vehicles. Oh, and also these items are out of stock and won't be back in stock for 3 weeks, if that or it could be longer. For the amount of money I spent, $1577.00 to be exact, this is unacceptable!! That should be covered and why is this happening after 2 months of use?! I'd rather return the product if that's the case and spend my money elsewhere. So we have to spend even more money to fix the issue that came after only 2 months. I am sure this will not be the first and only issue that comes up. More money doesn't always mean better quality!!! After seeing all the horrible reviews for this company and their products I regret buying these so much and I hope others see all these reviews before making a purchase.
Horrible Product!
Purchased a buggy as a Christmas present for our boys. Communication with the company was great and shipping was fast, but that’s where the good times end. They rode a total of 7 times before the wheel motors went out. It’s been sitting for 4 months and still no word on when they’ll be replaced. Like everyone else, I wish I had read the terrible reviews and saved myself the hassle. What a waste of $900. I was so excited to support a family business from my home state, but being scammed is ridiculous!!
We bought the Buggy
We bought the Buggy. Tail light and radio didn't work. We called asking if we could get replacement parts. They refused to replace parts and said we could return the buggy in original packing and unused. We had already put it together so that wasnt possible. They said these things weren't covered under warranty. Terrible customer service, beware when buying from this company.
Quit working immediately, replacement parts haven't helped.
This XXL Buggy quit working after less than 15 hours of use. I spent all of last summer troubleshooting, ordering parts, and replacing them. We didn't receive the new battery until October, so we couldn't give it a try until this past weekend. It still doesn't work. I've given up!
6/25/2024 This is an update to the above. My review prompted Ryder to reach out and they said they'd make this a priority to get fixed. I believed them and agreed to purchase the parts they said would fix the problem. After waiting almost a month for the parts to be in stock I ordered them. I was told they'd ship in 3-4 business days. It's been 8 business days and nothing....
7/1/2024: One final update. I've now been told there was a glitch in their system and that the part is NOT in stock. They offered to refund me for the part or I can keep waiting. I've opted for the refund for the part. I wish I could get a refund on the buggy. I'm officially giving up and throwing it away.

Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. FIRST the small SUV is designed only to to turn right or lelf, not both. Our friends purchased a Walmart SUV for substantially less and it has more more and turning radius. Secondly, they mislead you and state it is an USA company. They box comes labeled made in China and they do not answer a phone. States to email. They take weeks to respond back. Our SUV came with parta laying loose in the box like it was a return and with no instruction manual. There email says online manual but that is only for the larger size. When I email said we were missing parts with the photo of the missing parts (only received 3 of 4 etc). Twice they send me a package that takes 6 weeks ro arrive not with the parts requested. When I asked about returning it because it was obviously a open box return the instructions were guaranteed that I would not get a refund. In their communications it appears by their lack of understanding that English may not be their 1st language.
Go Kart battery doesn’t charge
I made a purchase in December 2023 of a Go Kart. Practically it has no use as my son only used it on 6 occasions. Now it battery doesn't charge and I've been trying to contact them for more than a month and they still haven't solved my problem. Only one person answered me and asked me to send videos explaining what happened to them. I do not recommend it. There is no communication at all.

Super friendly support staff that was very responsive and quick to answer my questions and meet my needs. Not a trait seen in many companies these days. First engagement with Ryder and they really seem to love their brand and are about their customers. Gold standard service so far.
Ordering the 4x4 buggy was easy
Ordering the 4x4 buggy was easy. Customer service was excellent! Website is self explanatory with pics and videos. My only complaint is that the price is bit expensive. The 4x4 and the rubber tires makes the car higher quality. I am disappointed at the steering. It became hard to turn at times for kids.
Returned broken car - no refund!
Writing this for my son. He purchased the very expensive ($900) car for his daughter last July and it broke immediately. After months of trying replacement parts and talking to their technicians he asked for a refund. They agreed and he returned the car. He followed up in February 2024 because he never got a refund. They said he hadn't disassembled the car properly and that it cost them $2000 and that he would not get a refund. WE FOLLOWED THEIR DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. I see many reviews that say the same thing. Ryder Toys is a bad business - they just make up excuses for their terrible products and bad service - check BBB rating.
