Less than 6 months old and already broken after minimal use. Reviews on their website are fake because they don’t show any negative reviewed even after I made 1. Ours doesn’t move after only a few minutes of drive time. Guess I should have went with a run of the mill power wheel instead of being ripped off by this company. What a joke.
Terrible Product
Please do not buy anything from this company. Bought a $475 drift cart in Nov 2023. It stopped working almost immediately. Had to beg and plead and got them to send a new power button. It did not fix the issue. They keep trying to “troubleshoot” and none of their suggestions ever fixed the issue. Sitting here 5 months later and the cart is broken, they keep “troubleshooting”. Point blank- they sold us a very expensive, unusable, defective product. They do not stand by their products and offer extremely minimal assistance. Buyer beware!

Listen to the reviews. I bought 2 go karts on Christmas paid close to $1k and they have been nothing but problems with one of them. No radio works on the red Go Kart the battery doesn’t last much. You get 2 batteries on each kart. Anyways I been having an issue with the red kart is no longer working. It doesn’t turn ON. Their customer service isn’t their best. They purposely take longer to respond. They want your warranty to expire. I bought them thinking that since it was a small business they would on up to their warranty, and just tried to buy American, and support small business. Boy!!! How much I regret buying from them. Please do yourself a BIG favor and shop somewhere else. So expensive and their trash.
Ordered 2 drift carts for my kids for…
Ordered 2 drift carts for my kids for Christmas. One works fine and the other one wouldn’t hold a charge. After asking for a refund or exchange I was asked to trouble shoot for about a month. They eventually sent another batter which didn’t fix the issue. After sending the cart back I’m still waiting on a refund. Absolutely terrible company
avoid please
Bought xxl utv , start using it, found that steering is not symmetric , the car turns left perfect , however when it turns right the angle is not the same. This lead my daughter to always hit stuff when turning right. Contacted them, they acknowledged the issue, however refused to replace the car or fix it. They said this is not a mechanical issue, basically wanted me to live with the defect because the car can go back and forth fine so i should accept this defect! Wrote comment on their facebook page, they blocked me.
I am trying now to return the car at their expense , its not fair to receive a defective product and then pay to ship it back
Terrible company
Took almost 4 months to get a replacement part. They finally shipped from China, but they put the wrong name on the package. It’s sitting a FedEx and they claim FedEx won’t delivery it. Talked to Kirk, claims he can’t do anything. He absolutely will not let me talk to anyone else in the company to help. Terrible company
Very cheap product
Very cheap product, broken parts and the response I got when I reach out to them was please return the item and we will refund you. After I opened the box in the front of my 5 years old they expect me to put the car back in the box and say to a kid…sorry? Horrible customer service and horrible product.
No replacement parts and poor battery life
Was contacted by Ryder Toys after writing the review below. Was offered a refund due to the replacement part was not available. A refund was agreed upon on April 3rd and after contacting them multiple times since then, I have yet to receive the refund. Very concerning since I did not request the refund and it was offered by the company.

Child rode the Dune Racer model for ~6 months. The front axle broke by running over tree roots and street curbs. Replacement parts are listed on Ryder Toys websites but are never in stock. Reached out to customer service 4 times and each time was told the parts would be back in stock in 2-3 weeks. Front axle cannot be repaired due to thinness of material that is used. For the price, I had expected a more sturdy unit. Battery charge would last 30 mins at the most.

They are liers! We paid over $900 for a big wheels for our daughter. Within one week the motors are grinding and making horrible noises when she goes and when she stops. The home button on the mp3 player she pressed once and it completely broke so she can’t use the mo3 player now. We contacted them via chat phone and email back end of January 2024 beginning of February. We finally were able to be told we will get replacement motors and mp3 player. We got confirmation emails. Confirmation numbers 14008 and 14011. Forward to end of February. Still haven’t received the replacement parts and no tracking information. They told us they are back ordered and we will get them beginning of March. It is now almost end of March and we were told they will look into it. Then we were told they still don’t have them at their warehouse. Then were told they aren’t shipping because they need more documentation. Why would I get confirmation numbers if I wasn’t getting them? I’m 99% sure they don’t have replacement parts. The cars come in boxes. All they have u bet it just boxes of the cars they don’t have spare replacement parts so they run you in loop holes. They give u every excuse they can to run you around. I would recommend everyone to NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They say they support military and first reaponders. I call BS. My husband is a disabled vet and they have treated us with nothing but run arounds and lies.

This company is absolutely awful. my boys received a buggy for Christmas.
The purchaser of the buggy was excited to gift this to them after all great reviews on their site. well, their site is fake. Check out BBB and other reviewing platforms such as trust pilot.
The buggy does not operate longer than 5 minutes per ride.
Also, I wonder if the owners of Little Baby Bum are aware they use their show on the buggy’s display/radio?
I purchased almost a year ago
I purchased almost a year ago, steering motor failed day 2. they sent me the wrong replacement part, then ignored me. I've tried all over to find the part but everything is just a little bit off. WASTE of 1000 bucks and 40 plus hours trying to fix it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Please learn from my mistake.

I was only browsing their site for a spare part but came across a huge discount that I can't say no to. Almost $200 discount for the buggy and a free LP. That is effin awesome. This is perfect as Christmas gifts for our nieces and nephews.

Poor quality and customer service
Overall, we were very excited about our purchase. Upon receipt and pretty easy assembly, we had one of the wheel motor engines fail. Smoke, etc.
We contacted the company. They initially told us to box up the large ATV and send it back at our own expense. Upon further discussion, they sent a replacement motor. We installed and then a second, separate wheel motor malfunctioned.
At this point, we have spent more time repairing and coordinating with an unresponsive and unhelpful customer service vs actually being able to actually use the toy.
In the end, the product has not been reliable and the customer service has not been helpful. At this price point, I would expect better.
I do not recommend.
Disappointing Customer Service and False Advertising!
We got the Pink XXL UTV in December 2023 for Christmas for our 5 year old daughter, who loves to go fast and listen to Disney music. I triple checked all the specs on different sites and chose this one because of the weight/speed specs and it says it has a Touchscreen WITH Bluetooth (it STILL says this today 2/25/24 on the tech specs page under Specifications for this model ..after they've told me they would make sure everything is accurate on their site)! We were (and are still) very disappointed when it arrived with a basic, boring early 2000s touchscreen with NO Bluetooth! I was "offered" a $100 gift card to use for another purchase, but still have never actually received any sort of gift card! Plus, why would I ever buy anything else from here?! It's an okay ride in H, but in L gear it barely moves regardless of charge amount (she's well within the weight and age range listed)! Considering these things, plus waiting 3 months for our 'free car cover' (which is supposedly on its way now, after being told it was on back order multiple times and finding it in stock on the replacements page), I wish I hadn't wasted my money here! I have 17 emails back and forth with them and it got me nowhere! Don't waste your money with Ryder, buy somewhere else, and avoid the headache and disappointment!

My daughter bought one of their buggies for her two sons to share. She was so excited for them. This item was over $800 and it came broken and with missing parts. She has been trying to resolve the issue - they even said the broken parts won't affect the performance of the vehicle - so basically telling her tough luck. She told them she wanted to return it as she didn't want it anymore - it has never come out of the box because when she and her husband opened the box they could see the broken plastic in the body of the buggy. There were also missing parts. Now they are telling her that she will have to pay $160 in shipping to return it. She told them she is not going to pay that and asked for assistance in returning the buggy to them. All of a sudden the customer rep person is no longer communicating with her at all. Stay away from this company. If they can't back their product then they aren't a good company. How can they not make good on this $800 item. It's a shame and I agree with the others take your business elsewhere. This is not a family company, it's a total scam! DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. MY GRANDSONS ARE SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

If I can zero start I would. I received a broken car. For $899, it is unacceptable to receive a product in this condition. This is not a product worth paying the price for. Customer service is difficult to communicate with. Keeps insisting that an investigation must be done. I dont want a replacement. I want to return it. This is their broken product! Feeling scammed by Ryder Toys
100% honest review after 6 months with a disappointed daughter.
We purchased the $899 24V AWD Buggy for my 3 year olds birthday present in April of 2023. She absolutely loved it and we told everyone about getting it through Ryder Toys. Within 4 months of being driven in normal conditions around the backyard, the steering stopped working. I contacted customer service and they said it could either be the steering motor ($30) or the control board ($30), neither part refundable and an additional $10 shipping.
So, after waiting 3 months for the steering motor for that model to come in stock, we waited another month before receiving it… used, dirty, and broken. I contacted customer service and supplied pictures of the clearly used and broken part, to which they said a replacement would be mailed right away. It’s been another 3 weeks, and I keep getting told that “We’ll circle back to you when the fulfillment center lets us know it’s shipped.”
For $899, my 3 year old should have a car to play on for more than 4 months without it breaking down. For $899 a part that’s purchased for an addition $45 after shipping shouldn’t take 4 months to get and then be used and broken. For $899 plus an additional $45 I shouldn’t have to wait another month just to be told they’re waiting on fulfillment to ship a replacement for the used and broken part they shipped.
Honestly, and I’ve told them this myself, The company leaves me feeling like it’s a giant scam.
*Update 6/12/2024*
It’s now been 8 months since the Ryder Toys 24V AWD Buggy stopped working and 4 months since receiving the broken and clearly used part I purchased to fix it. Despite the website showing the part in stock, customer service has repeatedly told me that it is out of stock and can’t be shipped.
I reached out to Ryder Toys support today, 6/12/2024, since they responded to my review here and offered assistance. I’ll update my review with any relevant information and whether my concerns are finally resolved.
