Outdated models, and a non-existent customer service
EDIT: Despite their recent response, I want to clarify that I never received any call from them, nor was any of the information they now mention ever shared with me. My sabers are not USB-C or micro-USB as shown on their site, but instead use an outdated round charging port. Also, support only ever replied once to my initial email — asking for more photos and details I had already provided. I still sent new photos as requested, but after that they completely stopped responding.

I purchased a mystery box (3 Baselit + 1 Xenopixel) for $559. I was fully aware of the pack composition, so that was not the issue. The real problems are:
- None of the sabers I received match the models shown on their website.
- The sabers advertised online feature more details and USB-C charging, while the ones I received came with older charging ports.
- It feels like the order was shipped directly from China with outdated stock.
- One of the sabers even looked used, with visible marks on it straight out of the box.
- Customer support initially replied once asking for photos and details, but since then they have completely ignored my follow-up emails for several days.
For such a purchase, I expected quality and at least a responsive after-sales service. Instead, I got questionable products, outdated models, and a non-existent customer service. Very disappointing experience — I cannot recommend this store.

The experience shopping at saber x was superb, i was a idiot and ordered my saber to the wrong adress and they were extremely helpfull in the proccess of correcting it, the saber shiped in 2 days and was delivered in less than a week, the quality of the saber is wonderfull aswell, extremely acurate and bright, the speaker and sound board are wonderfull aswell, the construction is solid and despite them saying light dueling only with xenopixels, you can swing pretty damn hard with no damage, i do recomend removing any rings before handling the saber tho lmao.

UPDATED: owner of Saberx called me directly to apologize and confirm they had the correct address on file so someone somewhere along the line mistyped (maybe DHL?). Absolutely lovely person, said he would make sure his team knew not to rush through details and said he would follow up with shipper for me if package doesn’t arrive on time. Very happy with their quick response. Hope my kid is as excited about their product when it arrives!
Original post: Ordered using Shoppay because this is an allegedly easier option given on their checkout. Someone called to confirm the address because they "couldn't see it" on my order form (my full contact info is in my Shoppay account). I tried to give it to him but heard him repeat it back incorrectly, tried to correct him two more times but he didn't seem to be really listening, just talked over me and said yeah yeah got it. Delivery attempted today to wrong house wrong postal code, no response, now my kids have to wait and I’ve had to request a change of address on the delivery website and hope they don't just dump this very expensive order on the porch to be stolen because the original signature requirement has been overridden with a new address.

Great product, the only thing is my case for my saber got damaged through shipping but nothing serious.
Perfect for my young padawan
The light saber arrived exactly on time and was precisely what we had ordered. My young padawan is loving it and spends lots of time practicing moves and has even had a couple of duels with his dad. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with a case that could carry it when it is assembled.
Poor communication damages purchasing experience
I received my lightsaber 15 days after receiving shipping notice. The tracking information contained in this email did not contain any link to a carrier's website nor did it note which carrier was carrying the parcel. As a result, I had no way to track the parcel or to know if the parcel was even real or not. I had to send three separate emails (waiting approximately a day in between) to receive a response. They apologized for the delay in responding and explained that due to the postal strike things took longer, etc. Still no information on who had my parcel. I had to send another email, again requesting this information. Their response a couple days later finally resulted in the information I needed to track my parcel and proved to me that my purchase was not fraudulent.
The lightsaber shipped from China. I deliberately purchased from a Canadian company to attempt to get products that are here in country at the least. It is not well documented that products come from outside the country. It feels a bit misleading. To be fair it is on the website if you dig a bit.
The lightsaber itself is a fine product, exactly what I expected it to be. Solid construction for the hilt, excellent response to movement, etc. For the price, it could not perform anything less. It isn't cheap, so it must meet very high standards. I think there is some debate on the price of these in general versus what they do but that really has no bearing on SaberX and more on the industry as a whole.

I was under the impression that I was ordering from a Canadian company based on a recommendation from a YouTube partner An elegant Weapon, needless I was surprised when I got a DHL tracking label from China.... not a huge deal I was under the impression that everything was in house not just a store front. Also when my saber was shipped the address was incorrect and DHL had a delayed delivery because of it. Not giant problems just not the best experience.

I haven't even received anything from SABERx. It's almost a month since I purchased a Saber. Shady customer service has nothing but excuses, even the tracking number provided was just a printed shipping label, no package. I would not recommend or purchase anything from SABERX again.
