SYSTEMIC COMMUNICATION FAILURE
Having had an accident on 12th March. Sustaining front end structural damage. Since then I have had no constructive communication, as at 20th April, as to the progress of the way forward with my Classic Volvo. Indeed SABRE keep referring me to a firm called DAVIES, who also do not reply to requests for Claim progress updates. The telephone number SABRE gave me for Davies, not sure why I am being forced to contact Davies myself patches into SABRE's helpdesk ? Extremely very disappointed.

Absolutely awful experience
Absolutely awful experience. Our car was stolen and they tried their utmost to get out of paying it as the thief had obtained our keys (which had fallen out onto our drive). One month later and they have still not made a decision while holding onto my damaged car; leaving us with no mode of transport. They are difficult to get hold of as claims department only work Monday to Friday 10-4. They have caused us considerable extra anguish and pain after an already traumatic experience.

Do not insure with this company had a third party driver crash into me and my vehicle sustained serious damage .driver stated they thought i was taking a different direction .was told by sabre to take my vehicle to repair garage 30 miles away.went to 2 reputable car repair garages local to me both stated car was a write off.had a call 6 weeks later from the garage sabre authorised and did not speak clearly in English,just mentioned they could fix my car as they could source cheap parts for my vehicle.i refused their offer.
I told sabre i will not accept a 50/50 on any terms as i had been blatantly hit through no fault of mine which they agreed.they have now put forward a 50/50 to the 3rd party insurers without my agreement stating they are allowed as its in the contract in my policy documents.whats the point of insurance ?if companies like sabre treat you with this awful service i hope the ombudsman can look into this as i am extremely outraged by their behaviour.

Its a complete rip off. When I needed to change the address on my Insurance they send me a quote of GBP 235, in spite of having a secure car park and living in a gated community.

Avoid if adding provisional drivers on to policy
Why do Sabre choose to offer competitive rates for a young named driver with a provisional only to be astronomical and uncompetitive when the named driver actually passes their test leaving the policy holder with no option mid-term but to incur cancellation and policy adjustment fees mid-term? To then increase the monthly charges when the young named driver is removed is absolutely ridiculous - total scam. If they were competitive when they passed the test fine but they are more than 2 1/2 times the best rates so why draw people in at provisional licence stage?

Proof of no clams bonus
I’ve been trying to get in touch with sabre for a few days now and it’s impossible to talk to anyone and there website has it’s faults, I’m trying to retrieve my proof of no clams bonus from MCE motorcycle insurance.

Be Warned!!Sabre is an absolutely running organised scam with dodgy insurance companies. I had learners insurance with Go Girl, who took upfront costs from me to bring the premium down. Now that I have passed they tried to sell me expensive insurance, upon shop around they themselves cancelled and got one month direct debit from me a day after cancellation. Scammers. Going to report them to ombudsmen and watch dog.

Complete lack of credibility
I’ve been trying to contact Sabre for a couple of weeks regarding an existing claim - multiple unanswered emails to their claims team and no phone line connecting. It’s like they’ve dropped off the face of the planet.

Don’t try calling them, impossible!
As others have said, trying to get hold of anyone by telephone is impossible.
Very little communication regarding valuation of our car, following our non-fault accident on 12.11.23 and to date have been unable to speak to anyone regarding personal injuries as their phone lines are out of order. I sent 2 emails, both tracked - both came back as deleted without being read!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with
Worst company I have ever dealt with! Cannot get them on the phone, I continue to be penalised for a claim that was no fault of my own after my van was vandalised on the street at work in broad daylight! A company arrived to take possession of my vehicle unbeknown to me and when I refused to give them my keys they then said I was not insured due to me using my van to go to work! I am too tired to fight as they don’t respond to emails oland their phone lines are always down! Unfortunately I have to put a star…it is wasted and would have been cheaper not to get insurance!

Telephone lines down for several days. Not possible to call this insurance company. Claims line is open, but not the general office. Have reverted to emailing them, but no reply yet. I have sold my vehicle and no longer need the insurance.

best insurance company we have ever dealt with
my husband and i were involved in a crash 4th NOVEMBER - the van was a writeoff - on the Monday I googled the reviews for SABRE and started feeling really panicky because reviews so bad - well all i can say is that we have had exceptional service from SABRE - start to finish claim took 1 week and 5 days - money in the bank.
i will definately consider SABRE next time my car is up for renewal. Thank you SABRE Team

They kept telling my over and over (4 times) that the work for my van to be completed had been authorised but it hadn’t they had someone’s elses files uploaded to mine, the work for my van still hasn’t been authorised because they keep saying it’s been done but it hasn’t, can’t get through to any senior staff to

One star is ten stars too many for this company.
I have had a minor claim with Sabre which has taken eight months for them to pay out. One month for their claims process and acceptance, seven months of various delay tactics before settling the claim, they were obviously trying to sicken me off so I would abandon chasing them. WRONG!!!!

I signed up with Sabre though Freeway last week and I been asked to pay an extra fee after I was already provided the quote for my insurance based on my criteria’s because the NCB 1 year I had was from 2018 and so no more valid apparently with their policy. I have never been mentioned this until I paid the first premium insurance based on NCB 1 year and despite informing that I was unable to use my NCB 1 year due to severe injuries which I had to recovery from including a PTSD which makes of me a much more vulnerable person during the period I been effected from these symptoms and providing the relevant evidence and documentation they have up to date not replied me at all. I have only received a phone call from Freeway stating that they are not going to refund for the extra charge of £277 I had to pay due to this issue.
Very disappointing.

Shocking customer service
I belive that these have taken over mce insurance.
I lost my bank card a couple of weeks ago.
I got an email from this company, saying that I had incurred a £30 charge, owing to a missed payment.
I have since got a new card, and I've had to give them my card details via an email.
I'm not happy about that at all.
The least secure way of doing it.
They have no intention of wavering the £30 charge.
I don't know how to contact them in the first place.
Next time I'll definitely pay more money for a professional service.
I'm going to take this further, as it's an absolute abomination.

If your trying to get hold of go girl, Contact SABRE !
After having WEEKS of no response from their company go girl which was causing immense distress and worry,
I emailed SABRE and the response time was amazing. They endured my enquiry was validated and passed on to GO GIRL as priority, my issues with go girl have now been solved within 74 hours compared to 3 weeks just trying to get hold of someone thanks to Sabre .
Anyone having trouble with getting hold of go girl should definitely contact this company and your issue will be solved asap.
