Professionally perfect!

I am very pleased with the finished product and quality as well as how I was treated when I reached out via online chat and by phone. My only disappointment is that I felt it took longer to receive my order than I would have liked. Granted, it states on the website that it usually takes 10-14 days, when I ordered the exact same glasses from another online vendor, I received my glasses in half the time. Which made me wonder, how one lab is able to produce the glasses quicker than another. Once it became two weeks, I reached out and was told that the AR coating wasn't right the first time and had to be repeated which may have added to the amount of time (but this shows the level of quality assurance). When i inquired about paying for expedited shipping because I really needed my glasses, they offered to upgrade my shipping to two day from the standard that I originally had which I appreciated. All in all the ordering process went smooth, the price was fair and the selection is great and in fact they had my frame in stock while many others did not which is what let me to Salt City Optics so kudos there.

The title says it all, as far as I am concerned. I've ordered two pair of sunglasses from Salt City and have been completely satisfied.

They advertised 7 to 10 days for a set of Oakley prescription Prism Golf lenses. I knew, from previous experience that would be a miracle because Oakley is slow, but worth the wait. It took about 5 weeks, which is about the same as my previous purchase from Oakley several years ago.
What I did enjoy about SLC Optics was their response to me on phone calls. I am fortunate to live in the Salt Lake City area and visited the shop for a frame adjustment. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The service was outstanding and by far the best price. I was amazed by this company's performance and heartily recommend Salt City Optics to any and all. Will definitely return when the need arises! Thank you for a most positive experience!

I have astigmatism and wear progressive lenses. I wanted a pair of nice prescription sunglasses because I was tired of wearing a heavy, ill-fitting shaded 'clip on' or 'snap on' to my glasses. I knew that a good quality pair of prescription sunglasses was going to run $500+. I read reviews on several online companies and chose Salt City Optics since they were able to put my prescription on the style ( Oakley ) of frame and the lens I wanted ( tint, polarized, progressive ). Of course the good thing is that I was able to speak personally with a human about my needs prior to even thinking about ordering. I wanted someone to take their time to do it right; I received my sunglasses in about three weeks, with SLO sending me email updates as my order progressed through the stages from order initiation through delivery. I am very pleased with my new sunglasses. The prescription is spot on and they actually feel lighter than my normal everyday glasses. I knew that if they did not turn out like I wanted that they would accept them back and redo the order. I won't have to go that route. After you research other companies, please consider Salt City Optics. Talk to one of their reps on the phone if you need to. I am very happy and pleased with my experience with SLO and my new sunglasses. I highly recommend them.

Though it took a little longer than I expected to receive my sunglasses (of no fault of Salt City Optics, but high volume demand at Oakley), I am proud to say I'm the owner of my first rx sunglasses at age 62! It took me a couple of days to get used to them, as though I know the rx is right, it just felt different a tad from my regular glasses. It think this is likely due to the fact that I did distance only on them, not progressive lenses like my regular glasses are. Also, Customer Service, Kayla, rocked! Yes, I'd recommend to others.

Salt City Optics provides high quality designer prescription sunglasses to fit a number of prescriptions. My Oakley prescription sunglasses are designed and made with the highest quality and precision and I love the look and style too. The only bad part is waiting about 2 weeks after payment to get them but I understand that because they have (1) one lab to process prescriptions for sunglasses and a large volume of orders to process and ship across the nation it takes time and the wait is absolutely worth the product. I even have a 1 one year warranty on the sunglasses and Salt City Optics did not have to do that and other companies do not do that.

I ordered a set of Oakley Violet Iridium Rx sunglasses lenses online. The website was filthy easy to navigate and the ordering was straightforward. There was a couple day delay due to Oakley's issues but Salt City communicated and comped me an upgrade to overnight shipping. Love these lenses!

Good customer service and responses to my email and phone call. Great product and good price. Be aware that Oakley lenses take longer to get because they are made by Oakley and then sent to Salt City. Salt City doesn't have any control over how long Oakley takes to manufacture your custom Rx.

Salt City did a good job of getting back to me when I inquired about the delay from Oakley and they upgraddd my shipping due to the delay.

I had ordered Oakleys not knowing that my prescription was too high for Oakley lenses. Salt City Optics made numerous attempts to contact me (work kept me far away) explaining that a lab would be able to use similar lenses, if only I would give them the okay. I okayed the lenses and about a week and a half later I received my sunglasses. Lenses were perfect. Excellent customer service topped with excellent workmanship. Thanks for the new Oakleys!
