Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 43 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with recent software updates, finding them to be detrimental to their phone's functionality and user experience. People reported numerous issues, including rapid battery drain, apps not working correctly, and difficulties with basic phone operations like transferring photos or restarting the device. The updates were often described as making the phones nearly useless, with some even considering switching brands despite being long-time users. Reviewers also highlighted frustrating changes to the user interface, such as altered layouts, smaller icons, and awkward navigation for settings and notifications. Some people mentioned issues with specific features like the camera not working properly, problems with predictive text, and the forced integration of unwanted applications. The overall sentiment was that the updates complicated usage rather than improving it, leading to a less intuitive and more frustrating experience for many.

Samsung new update is awful

Samsung new update is awful. Terrible fuzzy new emojis, not as detailed look, happy 🙂 looks like it's barely happy, calendar is ruined. Clock is now big blocky chunky numbers. Phone keyboard has less ability to be changed, text to speech still terrible. What have you done Samsung??

Galaxy S23 here

Galaxy S23 here, and life-long Samsung user. I wish I can get these people to just STOP! This is beyond frustrating! My phone was working fine! I liked it, and I was familiar with it! Works like crap now. Can't open windows in Google, randomly opens blank pages, is a lot slower, and my widgets looks different. Why? Why the hell are my widgets different? I set them up to look the way I WANT. Samsung, everyone loathes your stupid updates. Sincerely, ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Note 20 pen was better before

I understand now why Samsung stuff things up with updates to force us to upgrade to next new model. My Note 20 pen that used to default to keyboard on opening now requires two steps to use FAH

System Update 42

The swipe gestures for the navigation bar do not work at all anymore. Switching between apps now has a delay and is super glitchy. My one UI home app didn't work and it shut down so my phone had a black screen for a couple minutes. Worst update I've ever had on a phone.

yall suck

unnecessary, ugly as sin, inaccessible ui update. literally no one ever was asking for these changes. notification drag-down screen is completely unusable and messy. at the VERY LEAST, these changes need to be something we can switch back. why change something that wasn't broke? I dread anytime my phone wants to update because my phone slowly becomes less and less usable and each update comes with some new bs

Latest update is utter rubbish

Latest update is utter rubbish. Why "fix" it when it wasn't broken? Can't get off setting screens, colours and themes are all wrong and it is just too awful.
I want to get rid of it. Advice please.
