I am very busy and do not have the time to go into other apps or multiple folders to sort out my emails. I ended up with too many folders whose role I could not understand. I missed important emails and only discovered that they had been misfiled. I use gmail and prefer Google's sorting. There is no point getting things sorted twice. I felt that SaneBox just created extra clutter in my life, which and me feel compelled to write this review. I am glad that I have cancelled it.

We are heartbroken to learn that you did not have a good experience with using SaneBox. It definitely sounds like you would have benefited more from having SaneBox set to a less strict filtering. When you first sign up, we analyze your email history by viewing the header information to determine who is important to you. Anyone deemed unimportant (such as a marketing email) will be filtered into your newly created SaneLater folder.
You can definitely use your email client to process your mail but we also have a handy tool called our Digest that you can schedule to arrive as often as you like. This tool allows you to quickly train, move, archive, or delete email and I think that would have greatly helped to make your experience better.
If you change your mind, we'd love to setup a call with you to show you how SaneBox can help your productivity levels each day.
We really hope that one day you will give us a chance to turn your negative experience into a positive one!

Sanebox saves me so much time
Sanebox saves me so much time. There are emails I receive that I want to eventually read but not when I am expecting important business email. Sanebox automatically puts those emails in a separate mail folder so that my inbox only contains emails I need to see now. I accidentally turned on mail forwarding to my second email address and was reminded of why I use Sanebox. My phone received 75 sales emails and wouldn’t stop beeping with new email notifications. If I had to check what those emails were I’d never get any work done.

A very fine service, which works exactly as advertised. I’m also pleased with how flexible it is. I’m able to customize it to my needs.
I try to limit the number of paid subscriptions, but SaneBox has been well worth it.

When I changed my Apple password…
When I changed my Apple password SaneBox stopped filtering my mail and, boy, did I know it! It's when the filtering stops that you realize why SaneBox is, well, sane. I updated the password and all was right with the world again.

Removes My Email Chaos
Excellent product and meets my every need removing the chaos from my email. The flexibility is a natural extension of Gmail, which I use heavily, and it gives me enough control knobs and switches to let me focus on my most important communications.

Reliable for Years
Sanebox is a tool that has been consistent for years. Few things can claim that anymore (such as certain notetaking apps). I was spending upwards of 90 minutes per day on email; now I spend 15 minutes in the morning on it, and another 15 minutes at the end of the day.

Eliminate junk mail forever
I’ve been using this service for over 5 years and it runs like a charm. When it stopped working due to a password update on my account, my email imploded. A quick update and it was back online cleaning up the mess. I don’t know how I would survive without it!!

SaneBox: The Perfect Solution to Disorganized and Cluttered Email
I have been an early user of SaneBox, and I've been using it for roughly a year now. I am a senior college student, and I love how SaneBox brings order and organization to my multiple email inboxes (school email and personal email account). I am on the "lunch" plan which works well for me. The two features I love the most are: 1) The ability to create my own custom folders (ex. Folders for each of my classes) and 2) How easy it is to train SaneBox by moving emails from my inbox into folders so it automatically moves emails going forward. Truly, it's a gigantic timesaver and I can't imagine going back to having an unorganized inbox of 100s of emails each day. With SaneBox, I have an inbox with minimal interruptions, a folder for each of my college classes, a folder for emails for which I have not received replies, a folder for general news (about business, environment, tech etc.), and so on. If you tend to get lots of emails, have a disorganized inbox, have trouble prioritizing, this is the perfect product to solve those problems.
