Avoid this company ! I have a tv and phone with these cowboys . The phone I sent back and just never heard anything from them . Called to find out said it’s not been received so now I’m just paying for a phone I don’t even have . The tv power plug port ( on the tv it’s self ) broke though age it’s a few years old and was a refurbished one I sent pictures though emails and here I am almost a year later still paying it with the same problems . Total scammers

A whole load of issues from start to finish with Hiya TV.
First, the remote never worked, meaning I had to buy an additional Firestick/Apple TV just to use the TV properly. About 12 months into the contract the TV had system faults and had to be replaced – granted, they provided that, but it was a replacement, not a brand new TV.
When my 3-year contract was up, the agreement clearly stated I could either 1) get a new TV with a new contract, 2) end it, or 3) reduce my weekly payment by 80% (from £11.99 to £2.80). I chose option 3. I was then told I didn’t qualify because I’d had a “new” TV – even though it was a replacement due to faults. I was point-blank refused by a very rude customer service rep who told me I’d need to add another year to my contract because “you only get the 80% discount after 3 years.” I had already done the 3 years. After arguing, I was eventually given the discount.
For a while, I was happy enough with the TV. Then about 3 months ago it suddenly froze on the loading screen. I contacted Hiya TV support, who told me the solution was to “turn it off and on again.” That was the extent of their technical advice – a joke. I was then told to wait 3 days for someone else to call. When they did, all they did was talk me through a basic reset and then concluded the TV was broken. I was told there was “nothing to be done” and that my contract was ended. No repair, no replacement – just “dispose of it safely at your own cost.”
I have been with Hiya TV for 6 years. For 4 years I paid £11.99 a week – that’s £2,493.92. After the so-called discount, I then paid £291.20 over 2 years. In total, I paid £2,785.12 for a sub-par TV that never even worked properly without me having to add my own devices. And when it finally gave up, they washed their hands of it.
Thank goodness I’m now older and wiser and can use proper finance to buy TVs. Paying almost £3,000 for such poor quality and shocking treatment is a hard lesson learned.
Disgraceful company – avoid Hiya TV at all costs.

I have tv washer a dryer and phone 58 a week for last 2 years.my washer was making a really bad noise on spin. They replaced within a week i thought great what a great service Only to find that the replacement was worse than the one i wanted replaced or repaired.I have been calling and messaging on the app for 5 weeks all the time still paying for the machine It is unusable.First the department were on holiday then only one in the office and have a back log of repairs. Finally today Weeks on they say they have no washing machines in stock so why can't they try repair it We don't do repairs We will canx your agreement and not collect the washer.I am 61 in a maisonette how do i move it? Oh well we can put a complaint in to our complaint dept for you Yeah there complaints dept This company is going bust do not get anything from them at all.they are not repairing or replacing .I have been a good customer he spoke to me like dirt They are not looking after their loyal customers they are leaving them after. We paid a lot of money thinking we will not have to worry if things go wrong we are covered..Its all rubbish they wont repair ir replace do not buy rent anything from them !!!!!!!!

Was in need of a tumble dryer when I came across Hiya. Thought great this will help me out. But 110 weeks later I realised what a rip off it was. I’d paid £900 for a £250 dryer.. and still paying 7.99 a week. Asked hiya to terminate contract, which took them 3 weeks to get done. If they don’t receive their payment dead on Monday morning then you are bombarded with texts emails and calls, even after I said I was no longer using the dryer and needed it collected they still called me 10/12 times a day.
Finally today it’s been terminated but told they are not collecting the item.
What am I supposed to do with it? I don’t live in a mansion to store an unused dryer.

Absolute shambles I ordered a phone over 3 weeks ago on there managers specials deal signing my 2nd contract with the company meaning as per the contract the first payment payable will be processed on the first Monday after delivery several weeks later and after several attempts to collect payment each Monday still no phone but just attempt after attempt to take payment for a product you obviously lied about having in stock
Edit: it would appear after leaving a review my issues have been sorted and I now have a delivery date for my product I will amend to 3 stars as I do genuinely believe that this company can be of help to a lot of people I just struggle to understand how it takes leaving a negative review to have issues sorted when this could have been avoided

This helped me out when I was starting out but with their ‘no get out clause’ contract I ended up paying 3k for a tv I could have just gone out & bought for £300. I paid regularly always & the one time my card declined for some reason they shut off service the same morning. No grace, no chance for me to rectify it just made tv unusable. The remotes are also ridiculous to use. They’re glitchy & you have to stand up right by the tv to change the channel. What good is that of an evening when you’re trying to relax on the sofa & you have to get up to change the channel every time. Repair time is ridiculous & takes well over a week to get to you. An absolute nightmare when you have an autistic child & no tv. Just do your favour and just save up for the tv you want. You end up paying an absolute fortune for a tv you will never own with shoddy service

This company is the worst I've even came across they take payment when ever they feel like it even when nothing is owed or due they constantly call you and multiple numbers and they also like to issue threats of you don't do what's said. I've never had an issue until recently I don't need the calls and the constant emails

By far one of the worst Companies u have ever come across. Complete application after they send me a email to apply. Then suddenly once they have details, not even 2 minutes later declined. Horrendous service. Stay away from this company.
