WOB are easy to deal with. An online scan, an arranged pick-up and we're off to the races. Seamless really. If I'm honest though, the books I sell don't warrant much of a cash return and by the time I... See more

Double login loses books from my trade
Once the trade is accepted things run smoothly, but at least twice now I've logged on, added books to a trade, but when I've come to select sell my books I've being returned to the log on screen to log on and when I've done so my trade isn't there. When I try and add the books that were accepted, some of them are, some of them aren't. Very frustrating

Thought my box of books had been lost…
Thought my box of books had been lost but once I let you know it was tracked down and I received my payment quickly
Duped Out of $100+ for my books
I sent in my books. They communicated well throughout the process via e-mail. They let me know when the shipment was received and after it had been reviewed. They told me I would have a little over $100 deposited into my PayPal account (per my request) and then sent me an email congratulating me on my "First Trade." That was a couple months ago. I've never received my money. When I try to respond to the emails I was sent, I get an error message stating the address isn't valid. Feels like a scam to me! Duped once, but I won't repeat it.

Overall good experience except for…
Overall good experience except for continuous notification that my books had not been received when, in fact, they had been.
I love how efficient the process was…
I love how efficient the process was for my CDs. The scanning of bar codes was easy. Packaging and shipping and ultimately payment was smooth as well. I think the pricing was reasonable, and fortunately I kept those 25 and 30 year old CDs in excellent condition. It paid off and now I have more space!
Straightforward process
The app makes it really straightforward. You don't get much for a book, but mine were collected from home and the payment arrived promptly.
A mainly good experience
A mainly good experience, although for some reason I lost my basket and had to start again, but suspect user error!
My only disappointment is when they claim a book is not in the parcel and you know you've checked at least twice and it was there when the parcel left you, that always seems to happen. Otherwise all good and on time.
Straight Forward Service So Far
Everything appears straight forward (so far). I will find out more once my books are received and payment is sent.
Great Selling experience
Having had to leave a negative review on my last selling transaction with World of Books i was pleased they picked up the review and paid me the monies owed. My most recent transaction went without any of the same issues and i got paid for all the books and DVD's sent. I had photographed them all and videod them going in the box just in case.
Seamless and efficient experience
Seamless and efficient experience, so quick to scan, pack and send the books off!
A great way to sell books
A great way to sell books. I used the Inpost option and it was so easy, would highly recommended
It’s a no hassle way of getting books collected and a bit of cash.
We’re moving house sometime this year so I had loads of books that I didn’t want. I just put the codes in of all my unwanted books and a price would mostly come up that they would pay. They paid for delivery, it was easy. I just packed all my books in a box and a driver came next day to collect.
quick turnaround
Convenient
Convenient, but the reasons given for not accepting books are unconvincing. It would be better to revert to the previous system of just saying no
Not worth the time
First time but found it a difficult process building a list. Books kept changing between wanted and not wanted. 10 books in the box and checked before sending but apparently some wrong books, perhaps from an earlier list? Was paid a little over £3 for ten books, most nearly new. Will not be doing this again and consequently chose a different company for my most recent book purchase.
