I have always been skeptical selling my iPhone online and was reading reviews on a lot of websites to find out that sellphones.co.uk had very good reviews.

I went a head with the online portal and within 30seconds to 1 minute had an email from themselves providing me with a reference number and free postage label, all I had to do was package my iPhone and advised me to pay for special delivery (which I did, this did cost me £9).

I took it to Royal Mail yesterday and it has been delivered today. My quote online was £345. My phone was in good condition no major cracks or chips.

I then had an email this afternoon to say they had received it and offered me a lower price of £245, they sent me pictures of the IPhone condition which was chips on the display screen, chips on the side of the phone and scuffs near the iPhone charging port, I immediately sent them a message back and explained there were no marks on the display screen or near the charging port and luckily I had taken photos of my phone before sending it (I advise you to do this if you are thinking of selling a phone to any company) I then sent proof of my photos and the guy was very understanding and explained he had to speak with his manager.

10 minutes later he came back and said there was an error on their side and the phone is in very good condition however there were some marks on the side of my iPhone which I knew was there as I noticed the chips before I sent my phone there wasn’t major just tiny white spots where the painting had come off, so once he mentioned that, I was ok with this and he asked me what price I was looking at. I wanted to be fair as the phone did have some cracks so I said £300 would be my offer.

He then offered me a new quote £300 which I accepted. He was very apologetic towards me which I appreciated. He told me the money would take around 24 hours to appear in my bank which I can confirm the money has been transferred to me this evening.

I will be using them again should I wish to sell future phones.

A legitimate business with great reviews, and I was initially pleased to be offered a fair price for my iPhone. However, after sending it in, I was told that because the battery health was at 75%, they’d only offer the ‘broken’ price of £20. I declined and paid £10 to have it returned — which is fair enough.

The reason for the three stars is that there’s no mention on their website of their policy to treat any phone with battery health under 80% as broken. Had that been made clear upfront, it would have saved us both time and effort. I can’t help but feel they’re hoping some people just accept the reduced offer.

Fast and clear communication. I liked the direct communication via WhatsApp which made me feel confident about the company. The online quote was accurate and payment was made immediately. I recommend the company and will use again in the future.

I did alot of research, before choosing sellphones to trade my phone in to. There are a lot of scammers out there, so wanted to ensure I chose a trustworthy company, who paid out the maximum I could get - and sellphones was that company. No other company offered the high amount they did. The entire process end to end was easy, I was paid the next day after they received the handset. You can trust this company.

Was very very weary about selling my brand new iphone 16 pro online, found this place and read the reviews yet still had a gut feeling I couldn't trust an online company. Sent my phone special delivery on the Friday, (bank Holiday weekend) they received it on the Tuesday. They let me know when it had been received, and turns out I got the payment literally the same day later that evening! And they paid the exact amount that I was quoted originally. Not one fault about them and I am so glad I went just off their reviews alone as my personal experience was 100% spot on!

Filled in the details, posted the phones, got paid literally the next day.
And the amount that was stated.

After lots of researching different companies, I came across sellphones, after reading the reviews I made the decision to sell my iPhone 16 pro max here. And WOW, I cannot express enough just how easy the process was from start to finish. I opted to pay extra for special delivery (£10) more for the peace of mind. Order was posted over the bank holiday, I sent the phone Sat morning, they notified me they received it Tuesday morning, money was in my bank Wednesday evening. They gave me the price quoted from the website (which was the highest out of all comparison sites), I will 100% be using sellphones again. I cannot thank you enough!

Sold an iPhone 15 Plus and I was offered the exact price I saw on their website. They processed the device the same day they received it and submitted the payment.
