Got offered a date to take delivery of…
Got offered a date to take delivery of my new divan bed. It wasn't possible for us to get time off work to take delivery. Upon declining the date offered i sent notification of when it was possible for someone to be at my house to take delivery. I didn't hear anything back and had to phone the company to ask if the dates i had were possibile.
Managed to get the 2nd date that i arranged for delivery and explained that i work in a hospital so could not always answer my phone but there would definitely be someone at home to take this delivery.
Fast forward to delivery day i got a call saying they were half an hour away. Followed by 4 missed calls that i couldn't answer because i was with a patient which i rang back to have a rude delivery man tell me hes been at the back of my house knocking on the back gate for 10 minutes...doesn't it make sense for someone to go to a front door that is actually connected to a property rather than a back gate which is across a yard through a conservatory and kitchen away from the person waiting at the front door for its arrival??

I am giving 4 stars because I did find the telephone messages rather confusing. I had no text or email to confirm the approximate time of the delivery beforehand, which would have helped.
The delivery was very late by 3 hrs so it was 10pm!! The drivers did send us a text 60 mins prior to that.
The two drivers, Sukhchain and Parwinder, were excellent. They were polite, respectful and quickly unpacked and assembled the wardrobe with great care. Many thanks to them.

Buying the sofa was the easy part
Buying the sofa was the easy part. Ordering and after sales no issues at all. Communication/emails were spot on.
Delivery guys were a struggle. No idea how to remove my corner sofa that I had taken apart for ease. Finally they got the backs off and things went smoothly.
I was very frustrated and did make my apologies. They got a decent tip. I understand they were a third party, however it was very frustrating, but we got there in the end.

SGK delivered a new sofa to my holiday home. (Not the easiest place to make a delivery)
The guys that delivered rang me to say they were 45 minutes away, and they arrived exactly 45 minutes after. Very polite and made easy work of carrying my new sofa into my holiday home.

Good service overall - tining could be more realistic.
I liked the notifications at each stage, including the option to accept or decline the allocated delivery window. Having got up at 6am for a delivery slot of 7 - 10 am I discovered that the predicted the was 7.55am. So far so good, but this was subsequently revised to 8.40 and the driver did not arrive until 8.00 am (presumably because of rush-hour traffic. That saud, it was still within the original window, but perhaps more realistic planning is needed when allocating the predicted times.
The driver was friendly and polite and checked the name and postcode was correct when making tge delivery. Overall a positive experience.

Ordered bed settee, delivery was good, very informative information keeping me up to date of every process on a regular basis by email & text. The 2 guys gave me a call about 1/2 hour with estimate time of arrival, they delivered on time & to the room where I wanted them. Lovely pleasant guys.
