My husband and I recently ordered our new motability vehicle with David in Shelbourne Motors Newry and we could not be happier with the service from start to finish! There were a few issues regarding availability and delayed delivery of the car we selected but David always kept us up to date with the facts and was very professional. The process was made very easy for us and on the day we collected our new car, David was so prepared & knowledgeable about all the processes that needed to be completed, as well as helping us to set up all the tech in the car for easy use. We are delighted with our new car and highly recommend asking for David if you are going down the motability route. Thanks for everything David!

Recently purchased an SUV from Shelbourne Motors where everything was excellent, from first point of contact to sale and an after sale. Ross, the sales executive, was exceptional the whole way through and he tended to every query and made sure emails were sent and telephone calls made as promised. For a used SUV, it was like brand new even though there was a slight issue with the vehicle after we received it, Ross got on to it and had it resolved immediately. I would highly recommend Ross and Shelbourne Motors for anyone thinking of buying a vehicle there for the first time (just like me) and I will definitely be buying my next vehicle there in the future. Overall, a very positive experience!

I rarely leave a review but feel compelled to on this occasion so that I can highlight the truly outstanding customer service I received from David at Shelbourne Motors Renault in respect of the purchase of my Alpine A110. From answering the multitude of questions I had about the car and taking time to facilitate several test drives, through to arranging competitive finance and conducting vehicle hand-over, the attentive and friendly service provided by David was second to none. Thanks to Jodie and the team at Shelbourne Vehicle Rental. The whole rental process from the initial quote to return of our deposit was efficient and hassle free. This was our first rental with Shelbourne and based on the excellent customer service, it won’t be our last. While many of the multinational car rental companies are taking advantage of returning emigrants and charging astronomical prices, Shelbourne’s competitive rates are very admirable.

Do not use their rental service. I reserved a car a month before I needed it, got a formal price quote for the 17 days I needed it. I accepted the quote and was told that closer to the time I was flying into Dublin, they would contact me with the make and model of the car and collect a deposit.
Several days before not one contacted me so I emailed their agent. No response. 1 day out, I contacted customer service and finally got a response that they had run out of cars. They never contacted me about this.
I had to scramble and make other arrangements at the last minute. Stay away from these people if you want to be sure of a secure rental!

This is the second time I have bought from Shelbourne Motors. I arrived to look at a car which I had seen online and then decided against it. The salesperson David McCracken took the details of the type of car I wanted and the features and said he would keep an eye out for me. 3 days later I got a call to call in and have a look at a car which had arrived in. I was blown away - it was everything I wanted! David spent time getting to know my likes and dislikes and because of that bagged himself a sale! I got a great car! The sales manager Darren even threw in a bit of banter! A great team and I would highly recommend Shelbourne Motors to anyone.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Five years later this companies after sales team have not changed. I am totally disgusted. After seeing first hand at how they treated my father in a purchase of a used vehicle I would encourage you to think twice. 5 years ago I had the same treatment with a faulty new car. False promises, misleading information, no follow up, false promise to replace, checks confirmed but not undertaken. The worst thing was that they were visibly causing direction away from the 14 day return no quibble conversation. As said it is just disgusting. They pass the blame from one person or department to the next. They say one thing and someone else will over rule or deny that. With this branch, anything you have said or done additionally, please get it in writing. I am to renew for my new car on 6 May 22. They have what I want and a great sales team but my custom is going elsewhere because after payment, they don't care. Truly.

Dreadful after sales service and questionable level of skills of their mechanics. Was met with a 'couldn't care less' attitude on every occasion post purchase. Paid for parking sensors which we were fitted incorrectly and after two very inconvenient visits to their services department, issue still not fixed. Failed to deliver courtesy car on time for a planned 3rd visit to services so had to cancel. Have emailed Paul Ward MD for a refund - awaiting a response.
