Yesterday purchased my new car , received a very fair price for my trade in , but most remarkably met with Glenn who dealt with us in the most professional yet friendly manner listened to what we wanted , gave advice showed us options and all without the dreaded sales pressure my wife and I were both really surprised how painless the whole process was in comparison to some experiences in the past , Glen knew his product could answer questions and had an assured manner which made us comfortable with him and the process so thank you . My father in the past had purchased at Shelbourne and then used their Motability scheme and always said they were good to deal with , and I can now confirm this , I am very happy with my new wheels and equally would recommend anyone give them a go , ask for Glenn I suspect you will drive away happy . I would go back in the future without hesitation .

I am writing this review as someone who did not actually end up buying a car due to a change in circumstances. However I wanted to write a review on my experience with Sherborne Renault as it was so positive.
I had been looking for a new Dacia Sandero for a while. Being in England there was very little in stock. I came across Sherborne Renaults website and contacted them. I was put through to Conor Hagan in sales and from the very start he was friendly and really helpful with the car. Whilst we were considering the car we had seen on the site Conor was clambering up a car ramp in the snow to get us a video of the car we were looking to purchase. Not only that he then did a video for a silver version of the car that was on the flat. Nothing was too much trouble for Conor. Sadly our situation changed and we no longer needed the car. I informed Conor and he set about refunding me my full deposit which arrived in a few days. I told him I would definitely use the dealership again and I really mean it. From the first receptionist to Conor the experience of buying a car was very pleasant.
I would highly recommend if you are looking for a car in England also.

Jamie kept us well informed all the way through the process with his passionate attitude and Darren was a great help too.
I am from Cheshire and travelled across the water to buy the perfect car I wanted. There were no issues involved, the car was well explained to me before I travelled over, the handover was great and communication was brilliant.
A nice refreshing change from some car companies I’ve dealt with back in England.

Just had my car serviced at shelbourne newry.I was welcomed by una ,a service advisor who was an exemplary example of how you should care for your customer. She explained everything in detail.kept me updated regularly on the service progress.she has a very pleasant manner,very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about shelbourne products.The service was carried out to a very high standard and i was sent a video from the mechanic of the car health check.tyres,breaks,suspension etc which i found very informative. I will definately be back and couldnt recommend them enough.very professional service.Thanks to una and rest of team.

I feel compelled to write this review after recent very poor experience. Purchased a vehicle recently and had a series of issues.
Bottom line they don't want to know know you once they've sold you the car.
Contacted David Armstrong who is after-sales manager, who unfortunately didn't want to know either. Very poor.
My advise stick to a local dealer.

My mother had quite bad car accident on site,I must point out at the bravery of Christy was amazing as he was first to run to help my mum and to make sure she is ok as well as he stayed with us and comforted me and mum (I'm so emotional even writing it now..such a man..a Hero!!!)and practical+first aid assistance from Meghan were both professional and kind,Meghan stayed with mum and I and provided support and care beyond what can be expected!
Caroline Willis supported us all way through ordeal and assisted us with support and guidance as well as orgonised lift home for us as we were coming from other town..I'm speechless at degree of human kindness here..

Purchased a used vehicle from Shelbourne Motors.
Couple of months later when we entered summer
i noticed the air conditioning wasn't blowing cold (Obviously in this part of the world if you buy a car in winter its very hard to tell if this system is working properly). Called Shelbourne and they told me to bring it in and not to worry as car has 6 month warranty.
Brought it in and parting words from the gentleman, its probably stone chips and wont be covered by warranty. ... Ok
Few hours later surprise surprise, its not covered and will be £xxx
Ok, i'll have my car back please don't carry out any work.
Picked up the car and it broke down as i was driving out of the dealership, i was very close to being involved in an accident. I managed to limp back to the front (thought i was going to have to push), went in explained what had happened (a lot of other surprised potential customers) and the guy blamed everything under the sun as to why this happened (we didn't touch this or that its your fault). They took it away for a few mins and came back and said there was no diesel (yes im aware its low but trip computer was reading 50 miles not empty) and it should be ok now. (Pretty sure they just cleared the fault from the ecu but anyway)
Got home but issue came back within 24 hours. (I don't know what they done to investigate the problem but the car was driving fine before being left in)
Ended up there was an issue somewhere else, which they ended up fixing after 2 more failed attempts, and a lot of fighting with them.
Bottom line be very careful dealing with these guys, its all rosy until something goes wrong, after sales warranty not worth the paper its printed on.
Very disappointed customer, i wont be back

Great service from Shelbourne Motors in Newry when we purchased a Renault Zoe just recently. We were able to reserve the car when we spotted it online and, as we don’t live close to Newry, it was really helpful to receive almost immediately a short video to show us the detail. Jack Ward was excellent throughout, answering my many questions (this is our first electric car). Thank you, Jack, for putting up with my interrogation! Jack, Michael and all the team at Shelbourne were supportive and thorough at every step along the way. Our new-to-us Zoe was delivered promptly to our home, 50 miles away, saving us the need for another journey. For me, buying a car is not a task I relish, but the team at Shelbourne made it so much easier and we’re very happy with the outcome.

I have personally bought 3 cars from Shelbourne over the years and my wider family have also purchased 2 from them in the last 24 months. Having shopped around at various car dealers in Northern Ireland I have to say Shelbourne is the best for level of customer service, support, standard of showroom, level of car prep, and impartial guidance. I would like to give a special mention to Jack Ward whom I have personally dealt with for the purchase of my last car a week ago. To say he went the extra mile in an understatement.
