Best Site To Buy Climbing Shoes

Ordered 2 pair of climbing shoes, one for wife and one for daughter. They were both on sale and priced considerably less than I could find locally. They also sent me a 10% off coupon, sealing the deal. Despite being shipped from overseas, they showed up in 4 days. I think this the best site to order climbing shoes from. They are almost always priced lower than competitors. With the coupon they were 40% less than if I purchased locally.

LOST £175

Hi everyone,
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM EPIC TV SHOP. Let me explain:
I bought for £175 worth of gear. I did not received the parcel, but the parcel has been marked "as delivered" by the Royal Mail. I asked EPIC TV to help me, they simply told me what I already knew: the parcel was "delivered".(I've tried with the royal mail, I've obviously got the same answer.)
So simply I was left with no hope for help from EPIC TV. I cannot open a claim with The Royal Mail because it's the seller's responsibility.
I cannot understand why they send parcels with this value without asking for a signature and when a problem shows up they don't even try to help. I'm desperate, angry, frustrated, I've just lost £175 that easily.

Please do not purchase taking the "free delivery", because it could cost you a lot if the carrier fails and you won't be able to rely on EPIC TV.

I am willing to withdraw my public complaint if you send me HELP. My order number is : 633294
If your are reading this, they did not help.

EDIT 1:

I’ve contacted you lately because I had not idea I was supposed to have received it. Me not being attentive to shipping times is not a valid excuse to put the liability on me. You should be ashamed of your customer service.

I’ve sent you the tracking history showing there is a mistake with this delivery. I was out this day, traveling. I’ve sent you my train tickets, I can also send you credit card records, pictures anything you would like. All I’m asking is you to open a claim with the Royal Mail so I can know where my package is.

Prompt order.

Ordered a bouldering mat on a Saturday and it arrived Tues. Given I'd ordered one from a.n.other online company and 4 weeks later it hadn't arrived as the local courier said " it was too big", will use epicTV again happily. Good value...and prompt!

EPICTV shop is a great shop for climbers, I live in Aus and have ordered online, saves heaps compared to buying locally when purchasing large amounts

Twice I've placed orders, i was kept aware on first one relating backorders, without even having to chase up and second order was shipped so speedily as all items were in stock

Patronising and dismissive customer…

Patronising and dismissive customer service.

Update, since EpicTV have tried to bury this review:

I had a pack delivered that was slightly faulty, but the slight fault resulted in an ill fitting pack. The pack would fit snug on one shoulder but not the other. (if it was simply just an ill fitting pack, you would be able to alternate which strap didn't fit properly, but it was always the left strap. it was clearly slightly angled incorrectly. I actually measured this to confirm... only about 5mm out, but enough to cause this issue)

I provided EpicTV with lots of information about how it was definitely a fault and not just the "pack didn't fit my body shape"

They patronisingly dismissed all of my information - meaning that I had to pay to return a faulty item.

They then completely ignored my response where I disagreed with their assessment of the fault.

For info, I have re-purchased the pack from elsewhere and it fits perfectly... So more evidence that their pack was faulty.

I should not have been expected to pay to return a faulty item, and I will never be shopping at Epic TV again, due to their dismissive customer services.

REPLY:

Nonsense. You deduct £6 for a return label. this is stated on your website. As a result, I returned the item myself, using a courier that was not as expensive.

Please provide me with photographic evidence of this backpack fitting your staff members properly, otherwise I will assume you are lying as you are lying about the cost of returning.

In addition, at the time you completely dismissed my claim, you would not have been able to have done your checks, so this doesn't undo the patronising and dismissive customer service.

Thank for for re-affirming my belief that your customer service is dismissive.

Our warehouse teams legends as controlled the backpack you have returned, this one was tested around and none of our team seems to see the baggy strap effect you described around the shoulders.

Note, that you did not have to pay any return cost as we provide you with a return label and a full refund was made to your account the same day we've receive your order.

Good products with great price

Good products with great price. Usually cheaper than buying from where I live (Australia), shipping has been really fast on all orders I've made with EpicTV Shop. Usually arrives within a week, one order arrived in 3 days. Experience has been nothing but positive!

Good buy & support on an issue with CC payment

updating my review as the EpicTV support team changed the experience to very positive at the end of the day:

I had issues with CC payment (no problem with my cards) The system kept giving "fraud" error. PayPal payment was not an option because they stopped providing services to Turkey in 2016 due to legal issues. Bank transfer would mean paying a swift fee (normally about equal to the discount I got) I created a new account, had the same issue with CC payment, so I suspected the problem was with my account/IP, and I could not ask a friend to pay for me.

To cut it short- we lost a bit of time, but Support responded faster with a solution focused approach. At the end of the day, I could buy my new La Sportivas at a very good price, which I could not find anywhere else.

Good prices, good discounts
minus one star for the "bug-like" fraud control on their system :) but thank you EpicTV team, hope you grow in Turkey.

Great customer support! + Note on pre-ordering.

A few days after making an order of several items, including one item for pre-order, I noticed the order was held up due to 'waiting on stock'.
Sent a message to customer service and got a response within 24 hours, then subsequent replies almost instantly: It was the pre-ordered item holding up the rest.
I asked if they could split the order, but unfortunately by itself the pre-order item would be under the free shipping limit. But they offered to either make it a separate order and charge the shipping fee, or cancel the item and refund it (so that the rest of the items could be sent now). Went with the refund and got a refund confirmation within minutes.

So be aware when making a pre-order as well as in-stock items: The latter will be sent quicker if you order them separately from the pre-order items. All pretty logical.

A minor inconvenience on my end, but EpicTV are super helpful and transparent so I will happily shop there again!
