Seeing this community in action made us realise that the human body just isn’t designed to walk or stand on the flat, hard surfaces which surround us in modern society. We therefore decided to develop a new style of footwear that imitates the process of walking on soft and uneven terrain. The results have been both incredible and revolutionary. Overall satisfied

Overall satisfied. But very poor website. There is no easy telephone contact.
No communication to consult. Should have uk telephone contact. Sizes are not available most is the sale items.

brand new MBTs ready for the bin

Bought brand new mbt shoes on Vinted. They came in the original box with original labels on them.
I loved the way they felt around my feet.
Was over the moon, finally good shoes!!
A week later one of the shoes started to fall apart. Holes appeared in the sole, rubber came loose, it was shocking.
So after 1 week of wearing them I can trow them in the bin. I am very very disappointed.

Expensive, painful and awful customer service

Unfortunately I’ve had a very poor experience both with my new shoes and with MBT customer service.

The MBT shoes I purchased caused me pain in my big toe joint after wearing them for only half a day. I sent the trainers back to MBT (at my cost) explaining the problem and requesting a refund or an alternative product. My appeal is unfortunately being declined by MBT.

MBT state that no refund is possible because the shoes have been used. MBT state that the shoes will now be destroyed unless I come and collect them from their warehouse.

I spent the most money I have ever spent on a pair of trainers when I purchased the MBT trainers. The trainers caused me pain. The supplier of the trainers that caused me pain has now completely disowned them and is in my view being incredibly unreasonable as I search for a resolution.

Overall, I couldn’t be more disappointed. I’m an experienced runner with over 30 years experience of buying trainers. The MBT trainers and customer service are by far the worst experience I’ve come across during that time.

Rather a disappointing experience

Rather a disappointing experience. On the 21st October I ordered a pair of MBT sandals. I received an invoice and the request to review MBT Europe. On 4th October I was suddenly informed that my sandals were out of stock and given a refund. I returned to Back in Action, who I have used before and, whilst I couldn't get the sandals ordered from MBT Europe, the sandals I could obtain were cheaper and arrived the next day. I'm unlikely to use MBT Europe again.

Very poor quality

Very poor quality, after wearing them not more than 10 times the sole is separated had to through it out.

Dear Customer:

Generally, all our products are accompanied by the original MBT® brand certificate. The warranty period is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. Poor use and / or care of MBT shoes invalidates the warranty. If any of our products do not meet our quality standards due to a manufacturing defect, we will refund the money or exchange the shoes in question.

To start the process of exchange or refund for defects, write us an email to customerservice.europe@mbt.com presenting the original purchase receipt, the receipt of the card, web order number, name with which you made the purchase and a photo of the product. With this information we will assess your case, being MBT who will determine if the item is defective. If we decide that the exchange or refund is timely Customer Service will provide you with a return authorization number, will organize the collection and subsequent delivery of the new agreed pair or payment of the amount as agreed.

Talk to customer service first, if any problem, they'll make sure all is OK!

Thank you for sorting this misunderstanding immediately; my refund showed in my account a couple of days later. I would like to suggest a small improvement in communication. Notifications when delays are inevitable, would be appreciated in future.
