Bottle stopped working in first 3 weeks and I've waited 4 months to get a part for it. They keep telling me its on the way, which I know now is clearly a lie. SCAM COMPANY STAY AWAY.

Hyrdolite. Deceptive customer service.

After about a month of having my Hydrolite bottle delivered, a small piece of glass fell off the lip. Fortunately it did not cut my lip! I was always careful with the bottle so the glass falling out was not due to my handling.

Lisa Miles (Hydrolite customer services) originally responded to say that broken glass is not covered under warranty and that I needed to buy a replacement. I challenged this and Lisa took my case to be reviewed with her broader team.

She said after reviewing my case that I could in fact have a free replacement bottle, only I would have to pay for shipping. Initially I was happy with this response however on checking the website I noticed I could buy a replacement glass (with free international shipping) for the same price as what she was telling me it would cost to ship.

In summary, Lisa tried to resolve my request by tricking me into thinking that they would replace the bottle for free and that all I had to pay for was shipping. This was deceptive as the shipping cost they provided ($49.99) was exactly the same as buying a replacement glass which comes with free international shipping.

Rather than sticking to their position that broken glass is not covered under warranty, they made out that my case was being reviewed and that the conclusion was I could have a free replacement bottle.

In her last email she reverted back to her original position and told me that I needed to purchase a replacement glass bottle.

Lisa's approach to my case has changed my opinion of the Hydrolite brand. I have gone from being excited about a new concept and product to drinking from it reluctantly.

The reviews are true! This company and product are a scam. The bottle does not produce anywhere near what they claim. And if you read the refund policy closely, technically nothing can be retuned. "No sale items can be returned". All their items are always "on sale". Even if broke or defective.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I bought their h2 bottle for a couple hundred dollars. As soon as I bought it, I saw their reviews on here and contact them within an hour to say cancel the order. They wouldn't. So they sent the item all the way to me. I didn't even open the box and returned it for a refund. This cost me $25 and then when it was returned (tracked) they responded to emails with pointless platitudes about it being escalated to their team and couldn't give me any reasons why they weren't refunding or why it was taking so long.

After around 30 emails back and forth, I had to raise an issue through Paypal, they didn't respond to Paypal. So I escalated the claim with Paypal and surprise surprise Hyrdolite actioned the refund within two hours. So evidently they could have done it, but didn't and were trying to scam my money. Luckily I used Paypal.

But this caused a lot of stress and it took in total around 9 weeks from them receiving the return to me getting a refund actioned.

Pitiful scammy company, hope they go out of business.

DO NOT BUY. This is company is a scam. After a month, the bottle began to leak water into the charging port and it wouldn’t charge. I emailed customer service and they claimed they would send a replacement. It’s been 3 months and they continue to make excuses about delays in their shipping system. It’s a scam-same experience as the other reviews here.

I too fell victim to their game.. Funny you can't write a negative review on their website.
I waited over 3 months for my replacement bottle that never came. I gave up trying to talk to customer service as it's just a robot response and no real person in charge. They never refunded my money or tried to help.
Its a really short term idea for them to make as much money as they can ..Karma will get them I hope

Save yourself 100s of dollars and buy from AliExpress. This company is just another dropshipper.
I bought two bottles, one for me and a friend, and one of them stopped charging after a few weeks of use. Customer service was helpful in the beginning and offered to send a replacement base out for free. They told me they had sent it.
I've now followed up 7 weeks later only to find out it has not been sent at all due to "issues" with the dispatch system and given no ETA. Utterly abysmal.

DO NOT BUY. They are not worth one star.
I have had the same experience as most of the buyers here. Ordered last November and base started leaking on second use. I have been promised replacements time and again - and asked to "be patient" - seven months now !!!!
Very disappointed that my credit card refused to take up the case - I thought that was supposed to be a safeguard!
I never order anything from China but the US/Canada link was pushed so I thought it was safe. Have been trying to find a name and address for the CEO in the US/Canada - we should bombard him with our complaints; he has made thousands from us!

The base leaked upon receipt, they sent a replacement, it also broke within 2 days. They wont refund, they wont send any replacements. Scam seller. Dont buy from these guys.

What a piece of sh** company! WARNING - DO NOT BUY! Customer service is garbage. My bottle broke in less than a month of use. Customer service gave me the run-around and wouldn't replace the bottle. They also refused to reveal any formal test results proving the validity of their claims. SCAM SCAM SCAM

My hydrogen bottle from Hydrolite broke after just 1 month of use. The base stopped working entirely. I contacted the company, and they kindly offered a replacement. However, it has never arrived. Despite reaching out weekly, months have passed, and their response is always the same: “kindly wait 10 more days”.

Even though Hydrolite is a USA company, the tracking number they provided points to a Chinese manufacturer, awaiting dispatch. After 2 months, I requested to cancel the order, but they refused, stating they couldn't do it at this point. I'm not sure how long a customer is expected to wait, but 3+ months feels like a scam.

Horrible company. Received a faulty glass bottle and asked for a replacement. For months they said they would send one out but never did. Emailed them multiple times. Even had a confirmation that they would send a replacement. Months later… nothing. Go to another company

This is the worse company to work with. It took me a month to receive my bottles and part of my order still has not arrived after 2 months. Customer service is not helpful at all as they give the same answer every time and call me by the wrong name. My husband and I have noticed no difference at all with the use of these bottles. I feel like I got ripped off big time. Don’t bother with these.

I was skeptical on these bottles so I decided to order a third party test kit to see the levels (ppb) of Hydrogen in water. With the Hydrolite Original bottle, the company claims on their site for users to receive 3000+ ppb.. my test, which was repeated times showed 500ppb, or 0.5ppm which is not enough for a user to experience any of the associated benefits. I will be returning this bottle.

I Ordered a bottle and it stopped working within the first week and I have been waiting 4 months for a replacement part. The tracking they send doesn’t work and they just keep say wait a few more days.

Ordered 2 both died in a week or two. It's now been 3 months waiting for an apparently replacement to arrive.

Tracking links that don't work, excuses about needing time to refresh. More excuses. Then told there was an issue (2 months ago) only finding out about it now. please wait more time.

There is nothing special about the bottle. It's from Alibaba with a logo on it. They don't make a thing, nor test apparently.

Terrible customer service, terrible tracking info, cannot reach a real person, bot answers complaints. I cannot get any real answers as to when bottles will arrive and I don't hold any hope they will come, based on all the reviews and if they do, I expect they won't work as per many of these reviews.

Ordered a water bottle 3 months ago, it got turned around in customs since they ship it from china. The Hydrolite team lied and said they sent multiple replacements and they haven’t. It’s been 3 months of arguing with “customer service” and still nothing. Literally scammed out of $200 and they have no way to contact them over the phone. Literally a scam would give negative stars if possible. DO NOT PURCHASE.

DI NOT PURCHASE!! My bottle was faulty since day 1 and then stopped working completely. Customer service is terrible and after dozens and dozens of emails I haven’t received my replacement that was promised over 5 months ago. Every time I reach out I am asked to verify my address and I am told it has been shipped. Complete scam.
