Misleading information on shipping and delivery

Shipping info on their website:
i. Orders placed before 3pm NZDT will be processed and dispatched on the same day.
ii. Orders placed after 3pm NZDT will be processed and dispatched the next business day.

Fake info! In reality, orders placed early mornings are dispatched after 3 days in the best-case scenario, so it takes 1 week at least to be delivered.

No explanations or apologies for delay whatsoever, just very argumentative staff who would better focus their energy on processing and shipping rather than repeating that the order is "processing": you can see it in processing status for the last 3 days anyway.

The sosha shop in Hamilton east has bad…

The sosha shop in Hamilton east has bad customer service. I actually used to go there more than once and they would sell me juices and they were super kind. Then I drove there one night and the store manager demanded that I give them ID even though they previously sold to me so I gave them my school ID they said that wasn’t enough. I asked if a passport would be enough and they just kept repeating we need a NZ valid license but didn’t confirm whether I could bring a passport or driver license. I ended up driving home and grabbed my license, drove back to the store and they wouldn’t serve me. Honestly their rude and incompetent. Not only that but when I used to go there, they’d sell me the 50 meg without even telling me how strong it was or asking. I went again today and the guy was super rude. He was white and Maori too.

The Courtney place shop is terrible

The Courtney place shop is terrible. I bought a vape and it does nothing but leak, puff in juice. I took it back and the man behind the counter removed the coil with his over grown nails, no gloves, dried it out with cotton buds and yet I still have the same problem. don't goto the Courtenay place shop!

Thank you

Writing this on behalf of my disabled aunt who regularly orders online. Delivery is quick to a rest home and the team helped us find something that helped her stay smoke free (Banana Custard).

ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING SERVICE

ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING SERVICE
After coming back into the Invercargill store after looking for my bank card.. I said " I'm just going to look for next time as I don't have my card. I then was notified of my suspicious behaviour and asked what was I talking about to my passenger?? WT? I was so shocked!! Then I was basically accused of lying and then accused of not buying for myself and doing this same thing before?? I was told don't come back into this store unless your passenger comes in with ID ( I'm 49 and was just unsure of what I should get and not knowledgeable about the best product for me . (I wanted to give up smoking) This was the most embarasing thing I have ever encounted considering this was in front of customers. I have since learned they have followed many customers outside and accused them of the same thing . I was so upset I rang the manager (who I'm pretty sure was the person who accused me) and ask for his name so I could put in a complaint but he would not give it to me. I don't complain much but this was a must!!! In the hope no one ever feels the way I did.

Have never been treated so badly in my life, by inside staff member and customer service online. They make up there own laws. Then try to tell you you’re in the wrong with no proof to back themselves up. Rude, obnoxious and not very knowledgeable on the products they sell. Also noticed a lot of their products have been rebranded with the Shosha name, but not actually made by them

Buyers beware!

Shosha have terrible after sales care.

Manukau Store don’t understand how consumer law works. Attempted to return a faulty vape and they will pulled every string to tell me “No.”

Auckland in red light setting and one of the store employees was not wearing a mask for the entire 15 minutes I was in the store. Poor consumer service, would recommend people visit cosmic over shosha. Cosmic have a higher level of after sales care and understand NZ consumer law.

Hands down the worst store ever

Hands down the worst store ever. The store is bad in every aspect including the prices, stock, products and mainly customer service. The shisha pipe i purchased broke the moment i took it home. Cheaply built products and no refunds on broken items.
Never waste your time and money here.

Unreliable and not responsible

This company operates badly. I have had a really bad experience with their customer service relating to the sale of vapes and juice to underage kids. They just don't care. I have been in talks with them for quite a while now about receiving a refund for products that were returned to them unopened (due to them sending to an underage child which I intercepted). NZ Post shows the parcel was delivered to them, but they are denying receipt of it. They are only in this for the money and don't care about their legal and social responsibilities.

I purchased some coils from the south…

I purchased some coils from the south Dunedin shosha store for my new vape. I opened one when I got home and the there was a shortage. I tried a second and a third but still the same issue. Turned out they were the wrong coild for my vape.
I called the north Dunedin store because the south d store had closed. The guy on the phone was really nice and said they should be able to refund me there.
Unfortunately when I went in the manager said I would have to go to the south Dunedin store tomorrow when they open to get my refund. After continuously talking to his colleague in store about how frustrating my vape was the manager budged and offered a refund. I then though we’ll if I’m getting a refund and my vape is annoying me I’ll buy another one.
The helpful one sorted me out. I was about to buy some juice coils and a new vape.
But then the manager said he could not process the refund as the coils were “used” AKA (dipped in oil).
I took my old vape and walked out. I was about to spend 120 bux plus however many replacement coils and juice I would buy in the future but the manager was greedy. I will not be purchasing from shosha again!!

Waste of time & money

Staff lie to you about products constantly. Had two separate stores in different cities try to sell me the same nic salt from a NZ company when I specifically asked for US import. Both insisted that it’s a US brand despite the fact that I pointed out on the bottle AND box where it says NZ owned & made, and each flavour is named after a place in Aotearoa. Not only that, but every vape juice is insipid in flavour, burns your throat & coil like hell when you vape it, and the staff don’t even use their own products (or at least not enough to know what it vapes like, how long it lasts, etc.). I’ve never had a good vape juice from these stores. Basically the only thing this place is good for is bong parts and scented candles. Most other products are a waste of money.

Vape didn't work properly so was wanting a refund

Vape didn't work properly so was returned. Once checked I was told I couldn't have the money back but could have a replacement (already had to buy a new one) or a credit but had to bring back the spare pod. I decided I would use the credit to get juice and pods which would cost me more than my credit but that was fine. Was told by store that because the pods I returned were used they wouldn't give me a full credit even though I had been told via a phone call that I could. Both pods had been used trying to get the vape to work and the juice to stop leaking. Stand up arguement with the woman in the store. I couldn't speak to the manager, couldn't have a business card, couldn't have an email address, couldn't have the managers name and couldn't have the women who served me name either. They have their own policy ( apparently above the nz retail laws and the consumers guarantee act). I was told I didn't have any right to raise my voice and I wasn't welcome to come back to the shop again. Eventually she handed me over $40 and I left. I will never ever go to Eastgate Christchurch Shosha again and in fact I will never go to any Shosha store again. After reading these reviews I can see that the man who owns this company must be a very rich man with policies like this. I haven't read one good review so far. Disgusting customer service and I don't necessarily blame the staff member who I dealt with either because at the end of the day she was only doing what she was told by her manager. Stores like this shouldn't be allowed to operate unless they can adhere to the laws of the land. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the appropriate government department for further investigation

What an absolute joke.

I wish I had seen these reviews sooner but unfortunately I had already spent $100 and got a bunch of BS sent in the mail.
Shosha has a very unusual and quite impossible returns & exchange policy and as everyone else mentioned, customer service is a joke.
I purchased;
2 x 30ml bottles of the non-iced version of Feijoa - Shosha branded
1 x 30ml bottle of the non-iced version of Watermelon - Shosha branded
1 x 60ml bottle of MARS juice
I was really excited to try the Feijoa liquid and the HUGE hit of ICE was so harsh and concentrated that it took me a bit by surprise as the flavour profile listed “a hint of ice” which I interpreted as “a little bit” not “this will sear your throat and lungs”.
Not only was it a harsh ICE product but it also has absolutely nothing to do with Feijoa, whatsoever.
There is two types of Feijoa that Shosha offers, one ICE and one NON-ICE.
You’d assume when purchasing something labeled as Feijoa (without the ICE) would either smell or taste like Feijoa and that it wouldn’t contain any harsh menthol flavour but I got exactly that.
A brutal ice product without any thing related to Feijoa.
I also then read about the Watermelon flavour and people also stated that it was an ICE product and so I didn’t use any of it because I was intending on just exchanging it.
The MARS one however, is actually decent and that might be because it isn’t a SHOSHA brand.
Now, as soon as I received these products and tried the “Feijoa” I despised it and was upset to have spent $50 on two small 30ml bottles of useless, menthol, garbage water, I contacted customer support immediately after reading through their Terms and Conditions, as you need to contact them basically as soon as the products arrive.
But APPARENTLY you can’t return any products once they’ve been opened, even if their products have been mislabeled and misleading to consumers.
The only way they’ll accept any products returned to them is if they’re unopened so explain to be how a consumer is supposed to know the product is entirely false without opening it?
Are only psychics allowed to return or exchange products?
Are we supposed to be able to smell and taste the products while they’re still in their packaging?
How exactly does that work?
I’ve been denied the opportunity to return the two bottles of “Feijoa” and the bottle of “Watermelon” because customer service is also up for interpretation.
Seems like this “company” is all about misleading their consumers and just taking alllllllllll their money and leaving them disappointed.
I’m deeply disgusted and appalled by how incompetent the staff is.
They have no issues taking your money but heaven forbid you don’t have a knack for the supernatural and can’t just sniff out BS before the products even arrive to make sure you can attempt an exchange or refund.
I hope you get investigated and made to overhaul your practices because people need to know what they’re buying into.

Far to expensive and extremely bad customer service

Far to expensive, bought stuff online. Never showed up and then got asked to pay again so they could send it out (after full payment incl shipping had been paid) told them I won't pay extra so they just refunded me the product. Didn't refund any of the shipping money I had already paid. Lost all future business from me
