Purchasing through website from Auckland but dispatched from Palmerston North

I placed an order on Friday and it said overnight delivery, realizing that it may take longer than that - I wasn't bothered.
However what annoyed me was seeing that it was collected from senders location by the local courier driver based at Palmerston North CP Depot? When the delivery address is in Auckland.
Today I have tried numerous times calling the local Shosha, their 0800 number no answer and left a message on Messenger which hasn't been seen yet and this is 2 hours after message was left on messenger.
If I had known that it was going to be delivered from Palmerston North, rather than from my local Shosha which is only 20minute drive I would have bought from elsewhere. I would carefully consider purchasing from Shosha in Lockdown level 3-4 in Auckland in the future. Very poor customer service and follow up service. At the very least you should be ensuring someone is manning the messenger service, this is something that is easily accessable and keep your customers happy or engaged. Customer engagement and service is something I consider especially during lockdown and I am looking to support smaller local retailers that look after their customers especially during lockdown.
N.B I called Palmerston North branch of Shoosha and they kindly gave my details through to Chai - Customer Service Manager - An absolutely example of poor customer service, basically he sounded quite nonchalant and said 'so if we don't have any product in the Auckland warehouse, where do you expect it to come from' I was floored - at least let the customer know, we don't have stock in Auckland and it would need to come from elsewhere would've been a great start. Oh well, shosha will loose customers. I would've expected better from Customer Service Manager.

dont bother with these guys, ordered some stuff 4 days ago and its still being processed, yet they gladly took out the money for the order and there is no way to cancel it through the website that looks like it was made by a guy straight out of high school.

Online ordering is a joke

Online ordering is a joke. They’re blasting “overnight delivery during level 4” on their website but both times I’ve ordered, this hasn’t been true. My latest order, I placed on a Thursday morning, after not receiving an update on Friday I contacted them to get an update, with no reply. Again, I contacted them on Saturday to find out what was going on and again didn’t get a reply. All of a sudden my order had been processed and shipped (I think they realised they’d forgotten it). If I’m lucky, it will arrive by Tuesday…still no contact from their support team, despite me following up a 3rd time. Absolute joke.

25% more expensive and replacemen…

25% more expensive and replacement products such as caliburn coils and replacement pods are of lower quality than other sellers. They source from cheap OEM manufacturers is seems. Don’t get me started about the oils. Taste like detergent and also much more expensive.

VERY POOR SERVICE

VERY POOR SERVICE - Small order of 10 Cigars, took over a week to be even picked up, sent in 4 different packages on different days - Support seem to be blaming the courier delays for their not having sent it. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for something the week they order it - expect it

Shocking customer service in Newtown

Shocking customer service in Newtown. Purchased a vape from there 3 months ago and they’ve had no pods for it for over a week. Couldn’t tell me if they had them in their other stores. Just didn’t care. Will never shop there again.

You need to do better

I recently bought a vape from shosha and the battery ended up being faulty. When I bought it, it came with a 3 month warranty. So I brought it in (with receipt, box and charger) to ask if it could be replaced. I was then told It had to be kept by them so their repair guy could look at it and prove that the battery was faulty. Keep in mind, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about that as this was my only vape that I used daily. I am a broke student so buying a new vape to use while they “repaired” mine wasn’t really an option. 3-4 days passed and I still hadn’t heard from them or had any updates so I decided to pop into the store before class, only to find out that it had been approved to be “fixed” but they didn’t have what they needed to “fix” it. So it was going to take another couple of days. I got told I would be called either that day or the next to find out what my options were. I have still not gotten a call since then. I should not have to be the one to chase them up. Especially if the battery was deemed faulty and the vape was well and truly under warranty. From this point forward I will be taking my business elsewhere. They need to do better?

Terrible

TERRIBLE!! Customer service was terrible, I asked for blueberry flavor 3mg, also insured it wasn't menthol, was given a ZERO mg lemonade current flavor and menthol. Wasnt until I returned home an hour and half drive. That I tasted it and it definitely is menthol very strong taste, I read the container and couldn't find a mg level. So I got hold of the store to it be confirmed yes its zero and menthol. They couldn't do anything unless I returned to the store. So I got hold of the service center, to then be told that I denied the first flavor given to me, which I was never given any other flavor, I trusted I had been what I asked for. I was told I could have a 20% discount if I went back to store. Which I won't be driving back there. Horrible experience, I'm left with $35 vape I can't use. Not a happy customer

Shocking decision making

Absolutely terrible retailer that has no regard for simple decision making.

A $40 issues is now costing them at least $150, not to mention my time and gas driving back and forth, time on the phone, time back and forth through email.

Go to a different store. I strongly suggest "Vapo". They are amazing.

I didn't even want to give 1 star.

These guys are absolute scam artists

These guys are absolute scam artists! (Shosha Invercargill) They sell you products that are faulty and then when you take it back to them they try and claim that it's something you've done. They told me that they'd said not to charge it overnight. This is incorrect and when I called them out on it they then insinuated I was lying. This guy wasn't even the one that served me, so now they're psychic and are speaking for all of their staff. I've been using Smok products for years and I've never had this problem. They're trying to worm their way out of replacing the product.

Avoid them!

I went in store with a vape that had a fault. First up we replaced the batteries to eliminate that as a problem. Seemed to go fine, but shortly after leaving the store it began playing up again by misfiring and telling me battery is low, even though they're fully charged. We left the store though, thinking we had it fixed.
Once home, I called Shosha Dunedin to advise the problem wasn't in fact fixed and we asked what the next step was.
Man on the phone advised us of our options but stated that they would have to send the item away, and in the meantime, I have to go without a vape. The thing is, I went in store with my money and paid for what I was under the impression, was a working product. It has a major fault that prevents the device from working as it should. We asked about refund/replacement and this is where the man on the phone became rude and evasive. Kyle, was the name he gave, and he stated that Shosha "Don't do refunds" which I advised was illegal under the consumer guarantees act. Kyle became very dismissive of me after mentioning this, and told me I'd have to speak to management. I asked him for a contact number and was provided with the 0800 number to call. The issue isn't this guy's fault, so I'm not sure why he took it upon himself to be arrogant about it. It's safe to say that the $18 I spent each on batteries in Shosha, will be the last cent I ever spend on the company. Absolutely disgusted in the way I was spoken to over the phone, especially as I was nothing but polite and assertive in my communication.

They finally agreed to send my mod away for testing. I waited about a week, and then called the store to learn they hadn't sent it away, they'd been vaping it in-store all week and it was working fine. So I had my partner pick the vape up and within 5 minutes of leaving the store, it had done the same issue again. So I took the mod with me for the weekend and got video proof of the issue several times over. Then had my partner return to the store AGAIN and told them she wouldn't be leaving until she had a replacement. Thankfully she got one.

Avoid these guys at all cost. Overpriced, underinformed and just downright dodgy.
