So happy with our new storage unit! Shanice at the Stevenage branch was amazing, so helpful and patient with us, as we had so many questions.

The building is modern, extremely clean and well managed.

I would highly recommend anyone to use this self storage company.

At the time when i needed storage quickly shurgard i found what i needed staff was very helpful if in the future i need them again i will use them again

Really poor customer service. Seems there is a policy of stealing your money after you have vacated the property (the responses to the same issues on here show that is absolutely the case - we have reported to trading standards also). We told the staff handed back our lock but was still charged a further £80. Went into store and staff point blank refused to help. Called head office again pout. Blank refused to help. Had to retrieve the money through. Visa dispute with the bank. Will never use their service again. Hate thieves especially business thieves. The offer looks good but it’s a con.

Update: nothing to do with a lock. You charged my bank account when you knew I had left the unit and refused to give me my money back. It’s called stealing. Shame on you.

Recently visited the poole site to purchase some boxes for moving and Gina was more than helpful when giving advice regarding future storage purchases.

We have used Shurgard in Poole for the last year and they have been great. The storage unit is clean & tidy with lots of trolleys.
Their staff are excellent, polite & helpful and go beyond. Fabulous customer service

Really, really good experience. When we first visited our unit, we didn’t need to see or speak to anyone - straight in using the app, our unit was ready to use, and the padlock we ordered was waiting.

Somehow we lost the keys within a week… the team were incredibly quick to help and I booked in an appointment to get the lock off the door. The guy who did it was super friendly, as was the lady in reception at the time. New lock on within 10 minutes.

Great place, would recommend to anyone.
