Avoid avoid avoid
Avoid avoid avoid, use terrible couriers that steal your parcel then when you try and claim they refer you to a massive list of items that aren't covered by their loss, I mean pretty much anything that you would want to send is on their no claims compensation list. Check it out. Watches cameras, electrical items almost everything so they will never pay out. I have learnt the hard way and will never use this company again. Use royal mail, might be a bit more expensive but at least its reliable. Its a shame I had to give out one star as that's far too much. Please take not see all the other terrible reviews so not just me. They will lose or steal your parcel and not give a jiff about it. The only way a company like this will go under is to stop using them, pay a few quid extra and use a decent service.

PASS THE BUCK WHY DONT YOU........
It appears when something looks convenient, it usually means it isnt actually!
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I have just 'tried' sending a large heavy parcel via Ebay a week ago using the '1 DAY SERVICE'. Now 7 days later the buyer has the added frustration of the parcel she has paid for being returned 200 miles back to where it came from because the store that willingly took in the parcel decided 12 hours later they didnt want it! This should have been communicated by the courier to the customer and it wasnt.
Shutle have decided that they will be 'good' enough not to charge my invoice next month for the inconvenience. However they are not willing to compensate for the reneged botched delivery even though i chose the £60 insurance element.
Why advertise a service that is claimed to be amazing when it doesnt live up to it ? Their insurance is ALSO a false advertising service. They do not state on their E-Bay pages that they use 'UPS' or 'DHL'.

Total waste of time
Total waste of time, didn't collect my parcel, one vague response to my email with no clear instructions. Tracking number doesn't work with UPS or DHL (in the email they told me to contact UPS but it says DHL on the label). Emailed again, no response. I have an ebay buyer waiting and I'm away, its embarrassing. Had a similar experience with Hermes before.

Lost my package
Lost my package, talked to UPS who replied very quickly and told me it wasn't there problem and referred me to Shutl. Have to wait 5 working days to here back. Very poor customer service. You should respond to complaints and claims quickly. Even if its a small update.
Will never buy anything that is sent via these again.

Take your money, but "not the courier", you understand...
The Shutl service is very convenient, for sure. Printing a label is very easy. Great!
Until something goes wrong. Hermes lost my expensive parcel. They wouldn't talk to me because I bought their 'service' from Shutl. Shutl, for their part, do not seem to have any sort of extra access to Hermes, and can only message Hermes' useless support. Which takes 48 hours. While your parcel is in the ether. Then Shutl's response is "Sorry, we're not the courier, it's not our problem". So Hermes won't speak to you and Shutl do not have the tools or will to actually help.
If you sell a courier service to a customer, YOU ARE THE COURIER as far as the customer is concerned. If you don't want to take that on, sell labels for another service.
EDIT AFTER COOKIE-CUTTER RESPONSE: Sigh. Look at your rating. Evidently you are not getting this right. Take people's criticism to heart and change something for the better.

Broken glass on delivery
Broken glass on delivery. Refused to compensate as in their small plinth glass objects are excluded. Tried their best not to make it obvious before you use their service.

Terrible Service, even worse Customer service
I wanted to complain about the delivery Driver and his shoddy unprofessional attempt at delivering my Camera, I am now 11 messages through and still getting no where, often take 4 days to reply with a copy and paste!
I have been emailed by:

Amy
Liv
If you want a professional delivery solution then look elsewhere, throwing an expensive parcel over someones garden fence and onto concrete then leaving it unprotected in the Rain is downright unprofessional. I prefer my parcels delivered dry and not broken......

Couriers damaged my item, not Shutl's fault but they took responsibility and took care of the problem, compensated me fully.

Awful service from Shutl
Awful service from Shutl.
Tried to use it for my first eBay sell and will not be using it again, ever.
When at the post office, upon scanning of the label, kept getting the message “this barcode is not accepted”.
Tried it at three different post office desks and with two different labels.
None of them worked.
Needed to give up and use regular Royal Mail service.
Shutl customer service was kind but not very helpful. They could only say that from their end the label was ok and just sent me the link to find drop-off locations near me. Which was the ones were I had gone to.
UPDATED after Shutl reply
If you read the review above, it is clear that I tried with different labels. Yes.

Items arrived in battered condition.
Parcel had been delivered to the buyer in the worst condition. Items worth £120 destroyed through terrible handling. I am awaiting items to be returned in a condition that will no doubt will reduce the price to nothing. I took the risk and wish I hadn't.

Avoid Shutl at all costs
Avoid Shutl at all costs!
Their list of products not covered for insurance is excessive and when it goes wrong the courier doesn't want to know and Shutl dont take any responsibility.
Nightmare!!

Shutl is the main service provier
I used Shutl as the main service provider for my business for almost 2 years and within that time i have never had a serious problem with them. When i did have an issue they were quick and concise in resolving the issue at hand with no additional problems. The only reason i changed the provider from Shutl to hermes is because i applied for a business account with hermes to have the parcels collected which worked out cheaper than Shutl. After having my baby i have returned to Shutl as i had to cancel the business account due to being on Maternity leave and not requiring the collections any more. I am 100% happy with the service Shutl provide and i am a strong believer the main reason they have 1* on here is because more people prefer to share their bad experiences rather than their good ones. Keep up the hard work! :D

It seems some fraud is going on here
It seems some fraud is going on here, not simply missing or lost parcels. Someone must be doing something illegal to cheat people to steal their goods. My brother bought something on Ebay and the goods was suppose to be sent to my address with Shutl company. The tracking showed that the driver called in my address but no one was at home but the fact is we were at home all day. Also, we did not receive any calling card. More importantly and seriously, the goods was sent to a very small news agency which is the parcel shop near my address, and someone came to collect the goods just 1 day after that. This person must be someone belonging to Shutl otherwise how can they tracked the goods and how could they create a scenario that we were not at home (while we were at home, no calling card). I believe they did something and changed the delivery address to the parcel shop and then went there to take the goods (the parcel shop did not check their ID, they only saw the tracking or something on the phone and gave the goods to the person who came to collect).
This is a compete fraud from the beginning to the end. I think we need to inform police to investigate the matters so that no more innocent people lose money

Absolutely appalling STEER WELL CLEAR
My intended recipient was apologised to because even though her parcel had been signed for she was told that the GPS location of the van was NOT in her area proving it had been mis delivered. EBay then refunded her and took her payment back out of my account.
Now Hermes are insisting that the parcel was delivered correctly even though I have given them a copy of the apology document and will not refund me. This has been going on for over a week now and I can do without the stress. I will never ever use them again and eBay support is a waste of time as well.

Don’t waste your time!
Waited in all day and no-one showed to pick up parcel. Contacted Shutl who said someone called at 6.15 pm but got no response. Both my wife and myself were at home and we heard nothing! Wasted day.

Parcel "lost in network" same day as dispatch
The first parcel I sent using Shutl - myHermes was lost in the network the *same day that I dispatched it*. The only reason I switched from Royal Mail was the added tracking. Will never use this service again.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
As others have said, terrible service and customer support.
According to their own website the company is owned by eBay, but there is no communication between the two. Conflicting information - eBay tracking told me my parcel was held due to damage 4 days ago. Shutl tell me it hasn't been seen for over two weeks. Nice of them to inform me?!?
MyHermes which eBay and Shutl recommend, have no way of contacting them as the parcel was booked via what they call "High Street Retailer" assuming this is eBay or Shutl.
Shutl hide behind email and chat, so not to have to get involved and come back with standard responses.
My parcel was last tracked according to Shutl at the Northern Hub. Therefore it is within the warehouse. So there are only two logical explanations. The item is still there or it has been stolen.
Wish I had read these reviews before using the service, but as the trusted company for eBay, it leads you to believe that the process will be better for all parties.
UPDATE: We received the most laughable reply from Shutl who said "It is within the sellers responsibility to ensure their items make it to the buyer and address any issues if necessary." Thats right everyone, you pay the money to Shutl/delivery company, but its YOUR responsibility as the seller to make sure the item gets to where you're sending it and if there are any issues, well guess who its up too!!!
Joke of a company who should be taken to Trading Standards.

Very very bad experience and not just…
Very very bad experience and not just once,
Parcels lost, parcels didn’t left the parcel shop,
Same problems with the same parcel shop as well, but nothing seems to be done to improve or solve all of this,
When it’s a small parcels everything is good but try to send a big box and you will see,
Driver didn’t scan the parcel and bla bla bla, at the end parcel lost and especially if you didn’t buy an enhanced compensation,
Shutl,My Hermes I don’t trust em any more,I ve just lost more than 500£last month and their answer was : we are sorry but your stuff are lost,
Just avoid them if you don’t want to loose money and stay away from stress
