Beware I think this company has gone…
Beware I think this company has gone bust but is somehow still taking small payments from customers prior to them switching to Packlink in 2018, I do not know if this is illegal but they need investigating looking at all the complaints on here.
Only small amounts are taken from your account but small unnoticed amounts add up and if you have 10'000's of small amounts every month taken by this company then that is a lot of money every year.
I will try and ask "rip-off Britain" programme but they do not usually do anything unless it is family, a friend or a colleague that has a complaint.
Beware this company !
Beware this company !! They took a duplicated payment from my paypal a/c. Tried via ebay & paypal but still no refund ! After seeing all these negative comments; I have given up !!
pathetic
pathetic, outdated address database, does not synch with eBay current updated billing/shipping details when creating a return label through the App.
Impossible to deal with when it goes…
Impossible to deal with when it goes wrong . There just isn't a voice to talk to . I was charged twice at £34 each time and no way to get a refund.
Useless company
I had an unused postage label and requested a refund and was given a request number. After a month I emailed to say I had still not received a refund and received a reply to say the team was working on the case. After another two months I have not had a reply or any money and have given up. I will not use Shutl again or recommend to anyone.
They lost my parcel and no refund
They lost my parcel and don't want to give me a refund because I was one day late with getting back to them ( during coronavirus crisis!!!) They lost my parcel, no possible to get in touch with them and after month waiting for a reply they said that is too late for claiming money for the parcel lost by shuttle !!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
BY FAR THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER. 'TRACKING NUMBER' IS NOT VALID AND MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. DOESN'T UPDATE 'IN TRANSIT' OR 'DELIVERED'. 80% OF CUSTOMERS OPEN CASES AND GET REFUNDS. WHAT A JOKE. NEVER AGAIN. LOST OVER £350 IN 2 DAYS OF USING THIS SERVICE.
Shutl & Ebay false advertising NO TRACKING
Although you have been given a tracking number which displays next to the ebayers purchase 9 times out of 10 it's a waste of time because it never shows up as delivered and either says in transit or out for delivery, according to my postman they are not obliged to scan envelope when posting through letterbox if only sending out normal post as it's not part of the service unless sent out recorded so BEWARE EBAYERS it's not what it seems and some ebayers may use this as an excuse to con you by saying they have not received.COME ON EBAY AND SHUTL MAKE THIS CLEAR WITH ROYAL MAIL AS IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMS - I HAVE LOST OVER £150 ON FALSE CLAIMS NOW
SHUTL COST ME £100
Would never recommend or use Shutl again, only half of my packages arrived and I had to refund £100 worth of items to customers because of this, ebay didnt want to know and shutl wont even reply, complete waste of time. DO NOT BOTHER USING THIS SERVICE.
quite happily break your package and ignore you
quite happily break your package and ignore your complaints indefinitely. avoid for your own sake.
URGENT - I wish to add to Peter Stanley 8th Oct…
I wish to add to Peter Stanley 8th Oct 2019, having had an awful experience with EBay and on principal I wish to confirm there is an affiliation between EBay and SHUTL as:
Maurizio D'ARRIGO is listed as Ebay Uk - Chief Financial Officer on the website at:
beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/ officers/
J1rcVwc99PHA1sgsBJBkJVkrJeo/appointments (link up the spaces to copy / paste)
EBay have refused / failed to provide any address for me to write to.
When I asked "Wilma" at EBay to confirm "Who financially regulates EBay?" Wilma told me "PayPal regulate EBay" BUT THIS IS NOT FACTUALLY CORRECT OR TRUE:
FACT: EBay are NOT regulated by anybody!
EBay has provided an invoice for the period 01/02/20 to 29/02/20 but failed to provide a FULL BREAKDOWN, and there are "fees" from nearly a year ago that they can not explain, in terms of how they added these up. It's the principle as opposed to amount.
Wilma at EBay also mentioned two other fees for yet another item, which I now find do not exist in the invoice? I'm concerned that if EBay staff are not even able to tell it's customers HOW the amounts are fully broken down, or why items from nearly a year ago are suddenly now appearing on an invoice that states it is:
From 01/02/20 to 29/02/20
What hope do the customers of EBay have at understanding their very complicated fee and billing system; why is it not transparent enough; there are serious glitches between the EBay APP and the original website and you can only see your "invoice breakdown" on the classic EBay webpage, and if you're attempting to access any kind of invoice breakdown on EBay's APP, it's impossible! Plus, the APP itself does not instruct you to access the original EBay classic web-site?!
Having spent hours of my day, just trying to phathom out why / how I owe EBay £1.96 you would assume the staff at EBay could just tell you FACTUALLY how they arrived at this figure...
Several hours later I have worked out that they have charged 50p for two items that I listed as "Buy It Now" (equals £1.00) but Wilma at EBay did not explain this to me!
There is another 60p allegedly for an item that sold nearly a year ago, but EBay has not confirmed how much it sold for or how the 60p charge came about? (Once again, if the staff of EBay are not even able to help explain it, what chance do us public have? This 60p came under "previous balance"?!
There is also another amount of 36p, which Wilma at EBay said was "something to do with you item...from nearly a year ago, and there are two amounts for that item, which are 14p and 22p" BUT once again, Wilma at EBay could NOT explain why I am charged; or why they are listed as "final value fees" (from nearly a year ago), which also now appear on my February 2020 invoice, and unlike the other 60p, which is stated as "previous balance", the 36p does appear to come from no-where, and there is nothing from EBay staff to actually confirm how I even ended up with this extra 60p and 36p on an invoice for the period:
01/02/20 to 29/02/20
So, my search for a simple straightforward address to write to (email or regulator) has caused me to stumble across:
Maurizio D'ARRIGO - 2 appointments

EBAY (UK) LIMITED (03726028)
And
SHUTL LIMITED (06612384)
And as Chief Financial Officer
If he's reading this, I would be really most interested to receive a FULL BREAKDOWN?
It may not be a lot, but I wish for answers...
PS: I received no bids on my other 2 recent items, so have taken them off, on principal. So really, the 50p and 50p should not have really been added until we knew if these 2 recent items would sell. I'm not surprised to read all these bad reviews about SHUTL.
Rubbish service still waiting for…
Rubbish service still waiting for refund been 10 weeks now don’t even get a reply on emails worst company out don’t use
I have sent a parcel with shuttle and…
I have sent a parcel with shuttle and used my Hermes as the carrier. The parcel tracking shows it has not been delivered. I have been on both the shuttle and the Hermes sites. Hermes say it is shuttle responsibility (automated message) and shuttle claim form is now locked so you cannot complete a claim form, and you have to complete a claim form within a month , but there is nowhere to get a claim form from.
Very frustrating and although a regular user of my Hermes I will now only use royal mail for any posting. This is the first time I have had a parcel go adrift and have been amazed how defensive ebay and shuttle are by not making it easy to raise a query over missing items or making a claim. If all goes well for you then I would suggest you celebrate, because when you cross to the dark side it is very scary and frustrating. May the force (parcel force) be with you
More eBay ripping off.
More eBay ripping off.
used this service to post a computer case on eBay. paid around £13.00 for the service. 3 weeks later £50.00 had been taken from my PayPal account labelled as Shutl Ltd. apparently i had measured the parcel incorrectly which resulted in a £50 fine sending my bank in to over draft costing another £29.00. no warning, no time to get funds together, no conformation of the error i made (if i made one). just took the money. so end result was it cost me £92 to post something that should have cost £15 or less. i tried to find some customer service to find out what had gone wrong but seems they cant be bothered with that either.
how is it in this day and age companies can still rip people in broad day light and its acceptable. steal 30 pence sweet from a shop and you get a criminal record for it.
use "parcel to go" pricing is the same and service is better
Don't use. disgusting service
What a Terrible Company
What a Terrible Company. DO NOT USE SHUTL
Lost a lot of money because of Shutl and bad Ebay feedback
My advice to anyone is don't use Shutl. Go direct to the courier company's instead. Also You will pay more going through Shutl then going direct.
Sent an online claims form for a lost parcel They got back to me saying it was delivered and they said they have proof of delivery. I never received the proof of delivery from Shutl
So I contacted the courier company that i used through Shutl what was UPS. They confirmed that the parcel was lost and a claim will be raised. UPS said i need to go through Shutl to do this.
Shutl was not interested.
Im £160 down because of this company
Im guessing Shutl has claimed the money from UPS for the lost parcel and kept it for themselves
Paid via eBay service and noticed that…
Paid via eBay service and noticed that they set an ongoing payment authorisation in PayPal so had to cancel that. Then they had no option to specify a weight and just put 1g on the label by default! This means that the post office rejected the package and now I'm late delivering.
Lost £150 package. No refund.
Lost £150 package.
Lost something I sold on eBay, never made it to the buyer and won't respond to my emails. Paid extra to ensure it was covered too! Avoid at all costs, it's just a scam yet they get away with it somehow since they're a subsidary of eBay.
Totally awful experience with these…
Totally awful experience with these guys when I used them - never again!!
Shut you do not even deserve 1 star
Shut you do not even deserve 1 star. I used Shutl in December 2018 and paid them through Paypal. I found that they had overcharged me for the size of the parcel and was given a refund of the difference. Again through Paypal. I have all emails and documentation, from both Shutl and Paypal. Since July 2019 I have been sent a demand email each month stating I owe them money. Paypal have confirmed that I DO NOT owe Shutl any money. I have emailed them with all documentation and emails from both Shutl and Paypal but had no reply except for more demanding emails stating I still owe them money. WELL SHUTL I DO NOT OWE YOU ANY MONEY AND PAYPAL CAN CONFIRM THIS. I have had enough of being threatened by Shutl. My next step will be taking them to court which I am now looking into. I recommend that people keep every piece of documentation e.g. emails statements etc. you will need them for legal action. I am even keeping a copy of this review.
Hopeless customer service
I used this company to send an item sold on EBay, somehow they managed to charge me twice. Two emails later and not the courtesy of a reply, not likely to use this service again
