The prescription took 7 days to arrive despite initial communication stating it would be 24 hours.
Whilst I appreciate that getting the medication from the supplier took additional time - 7 days is too long to wait for medication - it's a good job it wasn't for a health condition that required immediate treatment!

We are sincerely sorry that your medication took longer to arrive than expected and apologise for the inconvenience this caused.
Unfortunately, we did not have this medication in stock at the time your prescription was received, so it had to be specially ordered from our supplier. Depending on the medication, special-order items can take up to five working days to arrive with us before they can be dispensed and dispatched. We appreciate that this resulted in a longer overall delivery time than you were expecting.
We completely understand your concerns regarding the delay, particularly when waiting for medication. We always aim to process and dispatch prescriptions as quickly as possible, and we regret that on this occasion we were unable to meet your expectations.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we will continue to improve our communication around special-order medications and expected delivery times. We sincerely apologise again for your experience and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better service in the future.
We take full responsibility for your order from the moment it is placed until it is safely delivered, and we apologies that on this occasion we fell short of the standard you deserve. Please be assured that the safety and timely delivery of medication is extremely important to us.
