Affordable car hire. Good airport transfer to and from Cairns airport. No fuss check in and friendly customer service. Would use again. Thank you.

Misinformation which cost us money

We arrived at the office and there was only one agent on duty. We had to wait about 15 minutes. The guy said he was alone which wasn't the case as another colleague came out about 5 minutes after we were seen. The agent, misquoted us for additional cover. Then we said we would like to reduce the length of the hire. To start with he said it would be difficult because we hadn't hired it direct with Simba. And so there may be a problem with the 'hiring agent' i.e. Airport Rentals. When I pressed him and asked him whether Simba would have an issue with a partial refund, he said no. We would get the refund from Simba but that we would have to write to Airport Rentals. So we changed our booking and reduced the days. If he had said Simba would refuse to do a partial refund we would have held onto the car. NOW, Simba are saying that they won't do a partial refund because they will have lost revenue, even though Airport Rentals don't seem to have a problem with it. This is unacceptable to us as the Simba agent gave us totally inaccurate information, and horrendous customer service, which they claim is at the heart of their business. And I quote the sign in their office: "Customers are the heart of our business. We place our customers at the centre of everything we do, wowing them with exceptional service and memorable experiences. They are the heart of our business". We were not wowed, and the experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The car itself was absolutely fine! Everything else was far from fine, and now I have to fight to get our money back. As a result I am likely to cancel my 2 week rental via Airport Rentals for the North Island, NZ (because of the 3rd party issue) and will definitely never use Simba again. Moral of the story - don't change your length of booking at the office, or better still - don't use Simba at all

An impressive new car rental company

A new car rental company that delivered an excellent all round experience
First time I've rented with Simba and I was really impressed. Friendly helpful staff, very competitive rates, new immaculately presented vehicles. Will definately rent from Simba again.

There’s no other choice

Truly hiring a car through Simba (particularly the team at Perth Airport) was one of the best experiences I’ve had in doing so.

The team there were clear, friendly, flexible and reliable - all with a very competitive price. The process was simple and quick - the pre check in is fabulous.

The pick up/drop off airport location was a little away from the airport but we were offered a free shuttle after dropping off the car!

Very highly recommend :)

Good service

Easy on line booking.
Messaged on arrival and Simba communicated a pickup had been dispatched. Note- car collection is not at the terminal. The car was ready at Simba base and the agreement emailed. The car was good- no problems- on return checked and efficient transfer back to the terminal. Good service, helpful staff and would use Simba again.

Good service, good vehicle, good price.

Good service at pickup, brilliant service at drop off. Nice car in good condition but bigger than I ordered ("upgrade") and I'd have been more relaxed and comfortable in the smaller compact SUV. Nice friendly people both times, thanks Megan and crew.
