Skip driver kicked my door
I just had the most horrific and traumatizing experience of my life. I am a single woman with agoraphobia, which means I don’t like to leave my house unless absolutely necessary. It’s very hard for me. Tonight, I decided to treat myself to celebrate something. There was a mishap, and my order was only partially completed. I’m not sure if it was my error or the delivery service’s mistake. When I asked the driver about my Timbits and donuts (I ordered from TH), he said, “No, just this.” Unsure, I asked him to wait a moment. He became rude and raised his voice. I have PTSD, so I panicked and shoved the drink at him, meaning “Here, take it back.” As I tried to close the door, he stuck his foot in the doorway. When I finally managed to shut the door, the male driver kicked it so hard that the door and hinges shook. Even worse, customer service called it an “inconvenience” instead of an attempted attack. What would he have done if the door had broken? I’m terrified and will never use those delivery services again. These are the contracted people they hire—people who terrify women? Then they offered me $5 for my trouble. How dare they? The order cost $15. I’m filing a police report tomorrow. I’m still shaking. This is not healthy or normal behavior. I dread to think what could have happened if the door had broken. I’m considering speaking to a lawyer. This was unbelievably wrong. I also have proof—a camera with audio and video is installed right above my door.

Support lies to you and then throws a $5 credit in your face, like it helps that you get stuck with no order after waiting for over an hour and a half.

Skip is scammy - Do not use!
I ordered food through Skip. I am a long time customer. The food was not delivered, even though I had put instruction that it was to be handed to me. I was charged for the order. When I requested a refund, the Skip team declined per their terms of service. Similar apps take some responsibility in these cases. This terrible behavior. I will not be using this service unless this is resolved, as I cannot be sure if my money will be wasted.

SkipTheDishes have totally lost it!! An incomplete order was sent to me. I contacted the SkipTheDishes courier, he said he delivered what the restaurant gave him and then I contacted the restaurant, they said they gave 2 orders to the courier and he mixed it up and delivered me the wrong order so I can get a refund from SkipTheDishes and when I contacted SkipTheDishes, first the agent Kyle.A said he will refund and then after a few minutes he said he changed his mind and I won’t get the refund! What in the world is that kind of nonsense behaviour called! BS. I have snapshots of communication with the SkipTheDishes agent and the courier. Don’t know if I can share them here. It’s not even about the refund money, I wouldn’t have built a castle with it but how Skipthedishes treat their clients is awful and shameful. Clients who have been dealing with them since years!!!! Fraud hidden as a delivery company Beware
With this company more than often u will not get your meal. The delivery guy will steal it and the customer service will not refund you if it happens more than once. I used to order meals everyday and ive lost too much money before i switched to doordash. Please do better than me and dont use skip, and if they still your money, call ur credit card company to cancel the payment and tag it has fraud. Also, complain so our voices gets heard! At this point police should get involved, its a scam going on!

I ordered LCBO on April 17th using Skip the Dishes. The order total was over $100. When four hours had passed and I hadn't heard anything I tried to contact Skip and the store. They claim the order was delivered by a certain time on the same evening, but I had our security review the video and there were no deliveries were made during that time. Skip and the delivery person say that since the delivery was confirmed there can be no refund. Confirmed by who? No one contacted me. Was SOMEONE's ID verified to check the age requirement? If yes, they could have easily seen that this other person was not me...but I return to the fact that I have video proof nothing was delivered. Poor customer service in the extreme.

I ordered food from Opa! Greek restaurant and it was the worst Greek food I ever had. Had to throw ur away, ruining my dinner with my grandson! Between the restaurant and Skip the dishes I spent at least 2 hours on the phone and online chat(skip the dishes). It’s been dragged to the point when it was over their 24-48 hours policy to solve a complaint. Overall I chatted with 8 representatives who after 10-15 minutes ended the chats! Valentine’s Day Dinner and they skipped
Ordered dinner on Valentine’s Day from Gabby’s on Kingston Rd, 3 ciders ordered but not delivered. Contacted Skip through the app FIVE times and kept being told to call back because they couldn’t get through to restaurant.
Was put on hold in chat for 45 mins and then the rep left the chat. No resolution, terrible customer service and even spoke with a “manager” named Cheryl who assured me this would be resolved the next day, which was 2 days ago. NO accountability, NO follow through. Will definitely not use the service again.

Waited 4 hours for an order to arrive, but it never did. The driver simply never showed up with my order at all. I tried contacting their customer service several times via different methods and all I got in response was an email saying that they couldn't give me a refund. If I could I would rate these people 0 stars.

They are horrible and no accountability. We tried them few times and every time either they were late or the food was so cold. When you contact them for customer service, there are no accountability what so ever. Will never use them again.
Skip the dishes
If you cancel an order the company does not put your money in the credit card but give you credits for that amount. It is very hard to get them to return the money or put it back into your credit card.
Skip the Dishes is incompetent
KFC had a two for one sandwich special. When I began to place my order it showed that I would be charged for two sandwiches instead of one. I cancelled and then tried again, but had the same result so I didn't place the order. When I contacted customer service, Olivia P. seemed to be overwhelmed with a heavy workload. It took her a long time just to respond to one question. After about 30 minutes of mostly dead airspace, following my last question which was, "why does it show I'll be charged for two sandwiches every time I try to order the two for one deal?" She apologized for any inconvenience and then left the chat. Obviously, she did not have an answer. Personally, I do not want to deal with this kind of incompetence and unresolved outcome every time I try to place an order for a meal. Therefore, I will be deleting the Skip The Dishes app.

After raising a concern with Skip about missing items from my order, I attempted to find the refund they claimed they issued. Jamae L. was the agent I chatted to. Jamae lied to me, then ignored my request for a supervisor. So, I deleted my account and the app. Then I spoke to Dianne who refused to give me Skip's head office contact.

Used to have no issues
Used to have no issues but the lack of response from customer support makes canceling and fixing orders basically impossible and very sketchy. Terms change under your nose and you end up paying just as much as other food delivery services. It's a shame. Genuine lack of app development and care for the customer. You will get completely scammed on offers because they make it so easy to milk every dollar on accident.
