Useless Customer Services

I’m currently on the phone for the sixth time to India sorting out a charging issue
I’ve currently been holding on line for 24 minutes as this Indian call minder is not listening to me
I’ve asked him to explain why there is such a delay and he hasn’t responded as yet
He has picked up the phone 3 times and said he’s checking my file, not allowing me to respond
Is this the service you think you pay for in India Sky, because it’s worse than anything I’ve ever experienced
Ajay, has been appalling and hasn’t done anything to help me
Lastly, I’ve wasted too much time already on this and other Sky issues
Get a grip and close the Indian call centres, they are ruining your brand!!!!!

Sky is a terrible company to deal with…

Sky is a terrible company to deal with their customer service is shocking
You feel as though you are speaking to an AI machine but I think you would get better answers through AI!
Wasted countless time trying to talk to their advisors about an issue with a mobile phone they sent that was blacklisted after 2 weeks of giving them time to resolve it I was told by one of their agents Donna she was confident the issue was resolved she would close the case I asked her not to to give me time to check. Case was closed and surprise the phone is still not working
Finally got through to another agent who brightly told me don’t worry you can have a better phone! I could have screamed at that point!! Infuriating place

Received a totally unsolicited call and bogus offer

Received a totally unsolicited call from Sky offering free multitool plus freeze on price increases till present contract ended in 2027 when actual contract was emailed monthly charge was £5 and no mention of price freeze When I contacted Sky was told it was a trainee and should not have been told that Decided to cancel Sky completely because of excessive April increase referred to retention dept when I was told you’ve had enough offers over the years so can’t do anything to reduce bill of £88 and informed that a further increase of £10 would be made in August making £98 per month new customers being offered monthly rate of £42 for same service on Sky stream but I’m not able to have this On complaining to Sky they say no record of this offer I thought conversations are recorded So how convenient that they have no record They quote customer loyalty what a joke Ofcom should investigate this company and bring an end to their sharp practice as for customer services they should take a lesson from Amazon and actually provide a service and not concentrate on trying to sell upgrade packages which is all they seem interested in Sky deserve a minus rating unfortunately that option is not available

Sky tv RUBBISH service

Sky are renown for terrible customer service. Cancelled my out of contract package direct via their online system and was advised at that time there would be no further payments required and that they would cancel my direct debit. Had already cancelled anyway. Unfortunately, they do not communicate within departments and are insisting on the latest payment and have added a penalty payment as well. Impossible to contact by phone.
It’s a shame because it’s a good product but rubbish service.

MANAGEMENT AND THEIR SYSTEMS UNFIT FOR PURPOSE

MANAGEMENT AND THEIR SYSTEMS UNFIT FOR PURPOSE
THEY NEED TO GET A MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
17 Days to get a problem solved.
I had a problem with my box losing connection with the wifi. They could not send an engineer because there was a glitch in my account. But they could not sort out the glitch. Their system would not allow them to bypass the computer, phone the engineer and send him out. After two weeks they sent me a replacement box. It arrived broken. I sent it back immediately as the delivery guy was still in the area.
Their system would not allow the very helpful Anne Marie Customer Priority Team to send a replacement until the box was returned. I suggested that they should upgrade me to a 2tb box. They did and as it was a new transaction it was delivered the next day. Problem solved.
I took 17 days because of the dysfunctional silo mentality in Sky where no-one could talk directly to anyone else.
Anne Marie Customer Priority Team was great, she talked me through getting a better price on my package. Oranised a rebate for loss of service.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. She phoned me three days later to make sure everything had been resolved.
Management you need to look at your systems because they suck

Underhand Tactics

I was “persuaded” to change my Sky package and offered many extras at discounted prices, I was not told that these offers were only available for 1month and after that for the next 23 months my costs had increased dramatically. I have asked for the recording of the call, but this hasn’t been forthcoming.I now want to escalate this. As I have a right to SAR. No-one at Sky is interested in helping or explaining why I was misold.

Sky glass

I’ve had ongoing issues with my Sky Glass TV since the day I received it.

From the very beginning, the TV has randomly jumped to maximum volume and produced extremely loud, distorted, fuzzy noises. It’s not only frustrating but also quite alarming when it happens.

I contacted Sky while the TV was still under warranty, expecting the issue to be resolved. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to get this sorted, the problem still hasn’t been properly fixed. Nearly two years later, I’m still left with a TV that doesn’t work as it should.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, both with the product itself and the lack of effective support. I would not recommend based on my experience.

People please fill out a complaint to CISAS…

My answer to all the many poor reviews of here, people really need escalate to CISAS. I have been lied to by Sky on three occasions, once their sales calling at my address to upgrade my Internet last October and selling me Sky Streaming. I told him I don't have a television and he assured me you can use the streaming puck on the Internet without a television. I am a pensioner and not as familiar with modern technology as some on here. I made a phone call to Sky when the engineer called to set up the Internet. The engineer informed me the sales person wasn't telling the truth and it couldn't be used without a television. When I spoke to the agent on the phone she assured me the streaming would be cancelled and she would call me back the next day. The phone call never happened and Sky started charging me from my bank account for the streaming when I don't own a television. I have sent several recorded delivery detailed letters to Sky Livington detailing everything above. I can cancelled the direct debit for the streaming and Sky started sending me threatening emails.Eventually I spoke to an agent Livingston who eventually cancelled the streaming service. I was assured I would receive return labels for the puck. The labels never arrived. I tried online the process for returning the puck many times without success. Eventually I managed the process and Royal Mail didn't turn up to collect the puck. I searched the Internet for a return address for the puck and sent this by Royal Mail. It was an old address so was returned to me. I sent the puck again last Friday next day delivery to what I presume is the correct address because Sky stated in their emails the puck had to be returned by March 22, Friday being the 20th. Now I am expecting threatening emails from Sky for the £38
By the way Sky, I don't use social media like Facebook. It will be interesting if Sky generated replies point me that direction despite stating this

I was lied to so I would re contract. I had an old sky plus box, and just watched my bill go up and up. We have a very poorly family member so I decided to get control of my bills. I was talked in to changing to sky q. I needed there to be a double hdmi outputs and I was assured there was two. It has been delivered today and surprise surprise only one hdmi output. The lowest lying to a customer of over 30 years shame on you

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, the customer service reps could barely understand the issues. No flexibility as I was in contract and circumstances changed, so essentially said nothing they could do.
Paid off remainder of contract to leave and be done with this awful company.

Terrible provider

Terrible provider! Only 2 weeks into new contract and they put the prices up. Ring to try and haggle and get told just to leave. They constantly put the prices up then if you do manage to haggle a better price they charge admin charges for making the change????
Definitely avoid!

Bad bad service and agents. Not trustworthy.

Contacted sky to inform them of moving house they stated when my new connection would be up and running only to not mention that my existing connection would be terminated. I did not authorise this what sky did. After ringing up I was told they was nothing they could do and they were sorry. I was also told that the new price on the new house would be x and it would remain that for 2 years without any increasing. On talking to sky they have since told me that this is not correct and that it will increase every year starting in April 26 which is APROX two weeks away so how am I going to get the premium quoted. Oh sorry il get it for 2 weeks.

When talking to sky they are not bothered at all. They are really not worthy of business when they treat long standing sky customer this way. I will be cancelling sky and never going back.

Well done sky.

We've got your money so go away

They should change the company's name to "torture tv".

I watch via NowTv and I get the sports package for F1 racing only

The commentators and actual coverage is excellent, however the morons that run the channel need replacing with chimps as it would be an improvement.

They put on 2 minute ad breaks which contain no ads only a black screen with the words "Coverage will resume shortly". It's live tv with competent presenters who can happily fill so why show 2 minutes of "We are morons" text?

The main sports screen is poorly laid out and you have to search for live tv.

Watching on demand items is also ridiculous. You have to watch a 1 minute ad, I call it an ad as it is sponsored by commercial companies, for other content on the site. You cannot skip these ads even if you pay £6 to remove ads as they say it's a promo when it's not.

When you get to the live tv it tells you what should currently be showing, not what is currently showing.

So It said "F1 Australian Grand Prix" but when you click it it shows Ted Kravitz telling you Russell won. This is because a rerun of Ted's notebook is showing and not the stated Grand Prix on the link

I have been a Sky TV customer since…

I have been a Sky TV customer since 1993, they have made a fortune out of me with very little back. Today noticed that over the next couple of months my bill increases by £12. In these times £12 for a OAP is a lot. I phoned sky on 0555 759 1018 listened to all the automated messages finally got through to a human. I was then told they were having trouble logging onto my account. I was told they would call me back in 10 seconds I think she meant 10 minutes - well that was a long time ago and am still waiting. I think with Netflix Amazon Prime and Apple along with Disney you should dump sky and just join the streaming services I have mentioned, It will be a lot cheaper.

What's happened to Sky?

What's happened to Sky?? Last time I called to renegotiate my contract as a VIP customer of 20+ years, I spoke to a call centre in Scotland. Polite, helpful, able to discuss the experience as a UK tv viewer. Now, calls are handled in India. Appalling. The first advisor spoke very quickly in a very thick Indian accent and was very hard to understand. The second advisor wasn't much better. It was simple call to discuss a TV package but took over an hour. The agents didn't understand the packages, gave conflicting information, didn't seem to understand the viewing experience in uk in terms of channels, shows etc...and why would they? They've probably never been here. I used to uphold Sky as an excellent Customer Service organisation. That's all gone. They're offshoring of customer service has totally ruined their reputation looking at reviews on here. Shocking.

Issues with Sky TV

Cancel Sky Tv and broadband as pensioners we couldn’t afford it anymore Sky still took money from our account. Over £800 over 4 months. We are still trying to get it back. They said we did not cancel then said it was an error. They then said we didn’t return the rapt but we did. Thus is so stressful it is making us feel ill. They won’t answer our questions properly. I am now going to take them to the small claims court. (More money)!! Don’t use them. I don’t know why the authorities and Ofcom haven’t investigated, they are not an ethical Company. I feel like once your with Sky there is no way out. Thus has been ongoing since November 25. Next stop is RIP Off Britain to try to get our money back.
