I bought a VW T-Cross in tip top condition, the used cars are quality, the staff are sublime, I felt very comfortable, everything was explained and done for me. I bought my previous used car at Slaters, kept it for four years with barely any problems. Thank you!

I purchased my car from Slaters motor…

I purchased my car from Slaters motor group this week. Michael help me find the right car for me. Once I had the test drive I knew the car was for me. The car was prepared, serviced and MOT. Which I’m very happy with. All the staff in the show room are very helpful. I would definitely recommend purchasing a car from Slaters Motor group. Thanks Again Michael and Jason

I had the lovely Kevin

I had the lovely Kevin, helped me with a part exchange and made sure my new car was well and truly ready and in the best shape before passing it over to me. All paperwork sorted in house and you are then given a file with all information in for future. Thankyou so much Kevin !!

Fully recommend!

I had a great experience getting my new car from slaters! They were warm accommodating and they got the job done so quickly. I came in on Wednesday to buy the car, they managed to get a fresh MOT from on it by the next day and did the exchange on Friday. I was seen to by Dave and Michael who are a pair of top blokes not just great at their jobs but made it an enjoyable experience. On top of all that they gave me flowers. I fully recommend this garage to anyone as they have an amazing selection of cars, and an amazing team.

Mini countryman

I have just taken delivery of a mini countryman from Slaters in Sunderland. I dealt with Michael all the way through, he was professional and friendly, responded quickly and answered all my questions, even though some of them were a bit silly! The customer care is amazing, they even delivered it to my door free of charge and with a surprise bouquet in the passenger seat well. Honestly I couldn't recommend Michael and Slaters enough, please check them out. My car is immaculate, perfect drive, priced really well and lots of checks done before delivery, full years MOT and free RAC cover with the option to extend.

I contacted Slaters about a car and was contacted straight back by Lewis

I contacted Slaters about a car and lewis immediately got in touch , we arranged to view the car as i was off to London and he was such a professional, no pressure at all . I viewed the car and took it for a test drive, we agreed few bits to be done alloys sprayed etc I paid a deposit and the car went off for MOT and service , everything was so plain sailing , excellent communication and he kept me up to speed with cars progress, this car had just come in , such a lovely place , friendly staff and beautiful stock, this place i would definitely use again , i was even surprised with a bouquet of flowers and a hug , i have had no problems whatsoever with this car , the whole process start to finish, my husband was tempted to buy and he said he would buy there , no hard-sell at all .

Great customer service

Great customer service. Wasn't pressured to buy but salesmen were very helpful when needed. Helped me with paperwork and I'm so happy with my choice of car. Highest recommended thank you for the flowers

I would avoid buying or using this Company

I would avoid buying or using this company for repairs. Bought a car, cash purchase and it lasted 4weeks before it broke down. It cost over £300 to have it towed back to the company. It has took 7 weeks for them to repair it. They were not open, honest or transparent about the difficulties or time frames on when the car will be fixed. We were promised it would be completed on two different dates and it was not done. On the 2nd promised time no communication from the company to advise what was happening. The company only got in touch when advice was sought from citizen advice and had to progress through legal processes.

Throughout the 7 weeks, there was very little communication from the company. We have constantly had to contact them for updates. They were unable to offer a loan car until the 6th week.

I would hate for another customer to have to go through the stress I have experienced.

It would have been helpful if the company were open and honest about timeframes and problems from the start. It would have been helpful for the company not to have promised the car would be repaired on two different dates. It would have been helpful if the company had rang us to say it wasn’t ready and why on the day they promised it would be. It would have been helpful for the company to offer a loan car before the 6th week.

There company advised that they wished they changed the whole gear box and not just the part. They also said they were sending it to a specialist company to reprogram which apparently had shut. There was very little trust left with the company at the end of this interaction. The company refused a refund.

Am on to my 4th vehicle with them 😍😍

The best part about slaters motor group is there’s no fuss - no stress - no pain-

The service team is amazing never any issues

Customer service

WOW, I must say that Jason was fantastic in the way he supported me in choosing a car when I needed to replace mine. He guided me through the range of cars that suited my budget and made sure that I was getting what what right for me. He listened to me and worked with me in a way that I did not feel any pressure, the whole process was done in a way to meet my needs, at an affordable price and I left with confidence that I had made the right decision to buy my car from Jason at Slaters. Brilliant services.

Excellent service

My MOT was due on my car and I contacted Slaters to see if I could be fitted in that day. The staff were extremely helpful and polite in particular Jason who went out his way by fitting me in that same morning! He made sure to keep me up to date as to when my car could be collected and even went the extra mile for it to also be cleaned! 10/10 for customer service and customer satisfaction, thank you Jason and the whole team!!

HORRENDOUS COMPANY

If no stars were an option that’s where this company would sit. Biggest jokers I've ever come across, they said they needed my car for ONE day to fix the USB ports in the car which had come broken upon purchase. FOUR DAYS LATER i’ve picked my car up, plot twist It’s still not fixed and my car is absolutely scruffy.

Lies after lies this company tells and the lack of communication from anyone at the company is pathetic. Jason the “manager” needs to learn customer service skills and needs to learn to speak to his customers like people not pieces of crap.

Reception staff are moody and condescending and don’t know there arse from their elbow.

Horrendous company!!!!

They sell problem riddled cars!

Take your money and time elsewhere!

Most awful experience I’ve ever had with a garage, awful communication and not good quality cars!

I bought my car 7months ago and had 2 sensors “fixed” with the warranty only to break down on the A1 and the ECU to be the real problem. I tried to email and call slaters to report my issue and radio silence from their end. Terrible customer service from their servicing team!

Safe to say I bought a new car from a more trustworthy seller and got rid of the problem riddled car salters sold me.
