5 star service from the beginning to the end. We bought our Audi from SMK Performance, found as advertised on AutoTrader. From initial contact to arrange the viewing of the car, till driving away and even after sale relation/contact all is run in very professional and friendly way making you feel safe. Car, documents were nicely presented to us with many questions being preempted even before we asked them . Questions asked were responded honestly in direct manner without any dodging. Shah approach was exceptional without any hard sale, giving us time to consider the purchase and information provided, allowing to make correct decision without any pressure. Car was just serviced with MOT for another 11 months. All ownership documentation transfer together with Car tax was arrange at the place by Shah. After couple of hours from seeing the car, test drive, we drove away home with our new purchase and absolutely love the car. After honest talks with Shah and his vision of client friendly business, rather than only completion of the car sale. I am grateful we could have bought the car from SMK Performance.

Shah was amazing with the smooth transaction of the car I purchased. The staff go to great lengths to provide immaculate cars, I cannot fault the service at all, it was all positive for me.

I bought my car a few weeks back and to tell you the truth I was petrified. I bought without seeing it, but "Harry" and Shah did their best in allaying my fears. They were professional, honest and flexible. If there was anything I needed to query, they were open and ready to address them. I really enjoyed doing business with them and felt thoroughly looked after.
Give them a try, I'm glad I did.

I haven't actually bought from this garage but I have just called this morning to see if they have a Corsa I'm a lovely lady I spoke to advised they haven't but gave me an option on a different car. The knowledge and honesty in this lady was second to none and I would highly recommend.

Steer clear. This was sold as an Immaculate car just look at the photos.
Salesman has terrible attitude and laughing about how we wasted our time to go and view car, along with boasting that going to keep finance money.
They even have their own Chop shop next door

What a refreshing change to see a car sales who go above and beyond to give customers the best experience buying a new car, not for one minute was I concerned about buying a car from smk, everything is taken care of and all documentation provided. The car was spotless had been cleaned to a very high standard, the guy's running this place are amazing and take great pride in there business. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a car to check there stock.

Harry at tilbury showroom was top class, infact my whole SMK experience was seamless from 1st chat over the phone to collecting my fabia on saturday. I would highly recommend these guys to everyone looking for a top end car.

Hopeless company . Don’t use this company I purchased a boot liner for my car , got sent something that was nothing like what I order even tho when I looked at my confirmed order receipt everything was filled in correctly . . I contacted them , they sent out a return slip and was told to repack it and send it back , took the package to the post office and was told the return slip was invalid . Emailed and called company at least a dozen times and got no reply , I am know left with a boot mat that fits nothing and I am £39 out of pocket . Terrible way to do business DO NOT USE !!!!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a lovely looking car boot liner over 5 weeks ago.
It never arrived, a blank Hermes card through the door so no way of establishing if that was it (another item from another company had also disappeared). Contacted SMK after 3 weeks, was told to wait a week and get back to them if it hadn’t arrived. Back and forth messages with no conclusion other than basically ‘wait and see’ . So at 5 weeks I’m getting a bit fed up and asked for a replacement to be sent out. Response from SMK ‘it seems the package is returning to us’ and I’m being sent a refund.
I specifically asked for a replacement to be sent out (save me the faff of shopping around for another one) but that was annoyingly ignored.
Did SMK actually ever bother to contact Hermes? Doubt it.

Purchased a Focus recently. In excellent condition and despite being higher mileage (90k) runs really well. Everything has been great with these guys and particularly Shah whom I was the main contact on the phone and in person. Would use again. Thank you :)

My second purchase from smk performance. I bought an Audi from smk last year and there service was excellent that I have purchase my second car from them again and what can I say, there service is 10/10, really friendly staff, helpful and polite. Had the car 2 days now and I am really happy with it. Would definitely recommend SMK PERFORMANCE. Keep up the good work.

Travelled from Liverpool to collect what was supposedly a mint Fiesta ST only to find a crease in the rear nearside wheel arch a scratch down to the metal on the passenger door rust on the front nearside and rear offside wheel arch the rear diffuser was off another car red !!! I was buying an orange one, boot lip was cracked where someone had tried to fit another cover, front bumper was out of line, no spare wheel told they could find one in the yard !!! oh and no engine cover yes the ST does have one fitted,
Interior trim behind the passenger seat was damaged
All in all a total waist of time from what looked like a high end dealer may as well have been a back street dealer bloody awful

Bought a BMW 318i, from booking the appointment to purchasing the car was perfect. Very pleased with SMK, it’s real honest dealership. The car was in fantastic condition, and came with AA 6 months warranty, breakdown cover and they got the car serviced with MOT at the original advertise priced. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing. Couldnt rate them high enough. Brought a vw tiguan from another dealer "hcl" and had nothing but issues. Returned the car and wasnt sure if i wanted to trust another car dealer. After finding a car i was interested in with smk i read there reviews and most were good, although there was a few that arent great but i went with majority being 5 stars and decided to give them a call. Shah was outstanding. I gave him a tight deadline as we had no car. Left a deposit over the phone and was told we could collect the car on Saturday. On friday i called shah and explained i needed a car is there any way i can collect early (the friday) and not only did he get everything done by then he even met me half way with the car as it was late. Having had the car now for 3 days i am over the moon. The only thing that has arrised is some moisture on the inside of headlight. Called up today and sam who was also extremely helpful told me that there customer team will get back in contact with me tomorrow. Even with me saying i can probably dry it out and seal it myself sam insisted on making sure this was right.

Overall an outstanding experience so far with smk and i couldnt be happier, now my partner and child have a nice safe car to drive around in.

I tried to buy a car through SMK. It was quite short notice but they assured me that all would be ready. We agreed a price for my car, which was lower than the market value and in fact would be exchange for a car that was overpriced, so they were about to make a good profit from the sale, but I was under time pressures so agreed to this. I was told the exchange, plus the finance for my purchase and the paying of the surplus funds into my account would happen when I collected the car at the agreed time.

The reason for the bad review

I had stressed before arrival that time was an issue for me, however nothing was ready despite assurances that it would be, and despite my having been very clear as to when I would be arriving.

The car was dirty, the finance had not been sorted, the alleged full service history was 'not here but we have asked the auction house for it' (I had previously asked about the car's history and had been told they had purchased it from the owner, not from an auction.)
They claimed my car had an oil leak (which it does not as I have had it checked at a reputable garage) and that I could leave it with them to pay me, some time in the future!
The premises were shabby and attached to the back of a Marina in the middle of nowhere and the operation seemed to be run by a group of very young people with little experience)

I said I felt they should apologise as nothing was ready and the abrasive young lady just said 'well for what?'!

I felt very uncomfortable there and there were so many little discrepancies between what their website claimed and the actuality that I walked away without concluding the sale.

I honestly don't know if they were utterly inexperienced or utterly untrustworthy but they were certainly utterly unprofessional and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere fi you want the reassurance of a well handled and good value deal.
