Smood are absolutely atrocious

Smood are awful. And they are getting worse and worse. Every time you order, even if you order hours in advance, the food arrives very very very late and very very very cold. If you complain they give you a token amount back in your smood wallet. This particular time, the driver arrived over an hour late (and 2 hours after I'd been notified by email that the food was ready) and managed to spill to the two main courses over the floor in front of our building. We were left with rice and cold, completely inedible starters containing seafood, which meant we had to get food from somewhere else at 10pm on a Sunday! Their response was first to just refund us the cost of the two spilt dishes to our Smood wallet. Having complained they will refund those dishes to our bank account but it's not good enough. Never ever ever ordering from them again, they are DIRE.

Use Hop or JustEat or UberEats - not Smood

They are the only place in town that delivers for a lot of people in Geneva… and it’s time they got replaced. The service is awful. Food arrives late and cold - very, very late and very, very cold. Their “gesture” is to give you a small amount in your “SMOOD wallet” so you come back to buy from them again! And again, end up wishing you hadn’t… see if Hop or JustEat or UberEats delivers to you first, before going to Smood. The power of the consumer is the only way they will change business practice.

Food Always Cold!!!

Repeatedly receiving cold, inedible food. They shouldn't take the order if they don't have enough drivers to pick it up. Tonight I ordered Burger King - simple. Notice that the food was ready at 7:33. Didn't arrive at my apartment until almost 8:30. It's a disgrace.

Avoid at all cost! It is a scam.

I signed up for Trustpilot solely to write about this scam of a company.

We have ordered a few times and every time they are late and claim that the restaurant has a busy shift.
However, there were two episodes that stood out recently as horrible experiences.

1. I ordered a burger and it arrived ice cold. I contacted customer service by chat which took 40 minutes. They explained that the restaurant had made the burger "too early" and that it was not their problem and nothing they could do. WHAT? Not your problem?

2. We ordered again some burgers and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes (again a "busy shift") until there was someone at our door. Before we managed to run to the door (10 seconds) the driver was gone and on our doormat, there was the wrong order... It took 30 minutes to contact customer service and they offered either a refund (as a credit to my Smood account!) Which company in the world can get off with only offering credit to their own company when you clearly are eligible for a refund (they didn't deliver what you paid for). A long conversation later, they refused to refund to my original payment method and they said they will refund to my Smood credit and that it will be done immidiately by their manager. 6 days later I still do not have any refund. I am now considering taking legal steps towards this scam of a company to get back my CHF 48.

Anyway, I returned to them by post their bloody order they had put on my doormat and claimed a full refund to the original payment method.

Avoid at all cost ordering anything with this company.

RESPONSE TO BELOW FROM SMOOD: You are proposing I contact you by email. That is ridiculous. I sent you a parcel by Swiss Post with a letter (tracking number 996014420100001144) on 29th September. Why have you not responded?

Two times BTC payment went through from…

Two times BTC payment went through from my side but somehow never showed up on the page as paid. To get in touch with support is impossible, waiting for a month for a refund and still nothing. DON'T use this page, order food somewhere else. Hope they close down the service because is a joke. I will also start legal process against them, just because I can and because of stupid 100 CHF.

Completely and Utterly UNPROFESSIONAL.

Completely and utterly unprofessional.
Ordered 2 pizzas from the platform and after a suspicious 50 minute wait we decided to call the Customer Serivice with no reply whatsoever.. We tried calling the restaurant directly and they immediately informed us that they couldn’t complete the order and had been trying to notify Smood for the past 45 minutes with no reply on their end.
We try to contact Smood once again, and still no reply..
We later receive a random phone call from an unknown number claiming to be the Smood Customer Service lying to us saying that their rider had gone to the restaurant (now 1.5 hours after ordering) and had found it closed.. As if any rider would randomly drive to a restaurant (i repeat.. 1.5 hours after order-entry) without recieving any kind of confirmation from the the people who had been literally trying to contact the service for hours to say they couldn’t complete the request… Unbelievable…..

Smood service is a fraud

Smood service ZURICH is a fraud. I ordered 2 pizzas and never arrived even though its status was DELIVERED in the app.
I claimed my money back to their customer service and they told me my address was not correct as their GPS did not find it so MONEY WOULD NOT BE REIMBURSED.
I would never imagine they could leave me without dinner and then dont come with a big apology and reimbursement. I sent them a screen dump from google maps where the address was found without problem.
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER CAME BACK. THE WORSE SERVICE I HAVE SEEN. From my perspective they stole my money so I consider a fraud. I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN and believe everyone should know this case.

Worst experience with any company I have ever had

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!

On 2 occasions they have promised about a 30 minute delivery time and contacted me after 40 minutes to tell me the order has been canceled. No apology, no reason, just canceled. You then have to phone a number in which they charge you 0.99chf a minute to find out what is going on. They then tell you they cannot refund the money, only credit the account. The latter point is not normally an issue if the mistakes were a one-off, mistakes happen! The issue here is that it's not a one-off with smood, they just seem incompitent to the core. I want nothing to do with this company after these mistakes so I wanted my money back but, after more than 10 emails, I failed to get my money back so I have decided to close my account with them and I have lost the money.

Do not hand over your money to these.

Not deliver in my grocery order the…

Not deliver in my grocery order the wine. On invoice shows up... at the end not charge.

Delivery prices too high, awful customer service

Delivery prices too high and then ask to tip drivers. No customer support. To call them rates are really high. Hoping uber eats will take over.
