Smood is TERRIBLE! I have been a customer since the beginning and they have been steadily declining. The majority of deliveries have all been between 1.5-2 hrs late with food missing most of the time.... See more

Smood is horrible. Unreliable and sloppy. Their service has deteriorate significantly in the last 6 months. Somebody else please start an alternatice, cost effective, reliable and responsive delivery service. It is not rocket science, and clearly the people who run this are classic Swiss "I don't give a sh£=" types, which is pretty stupid for CHF20 service fees. A disgrace.

My order was missing one of the items. No big deal, sent the proof and expected refund.
They had me waiting in chat for over an hour with them saying I was being transferred.
I complained multiple times via their online form and nothing…not even acknowledging receipt.
Won’t be using their service anymore can’t trust it.

So many weird things happen to the orders with smood!
My order was NEVER delivered, the phone number I specifically wrote in the order "disappeared" and they couldn't reach the recipient, and all my attempts to reach their customer support for over a week remained without any reply, or even acknowledgement...
And the best of all : NO REFUND!!! just kept the package and the money !!!
I don't know if this is total dishonest or just extremely incompetent... in any case - totally not recommended!

Smood takes your order on the assumption that you will get your order and then systematically post delays to your order. The problem is never with the restaurant creating the order but with the Smood delivery people.
I will not use Smood again but go directly to the restaurants. I do not recommend Smood.

Used to be good at the beginning. More than 2 hours to deliver, usually using foreign (non Swiss ) mobile numbers and difficult to communicate . In a friend’s house few days back the driver was beyond rude and was screaming and shouting.

Once I ordered groceries: marked as delivered, no news and now replies to my calls and emails..after several weeks I was reimbursed without any communication.
Once I ordered a pizza: after 1 hour (!!!) Smood called me to say the restaurant is closed.

Worst company ever, such a scam, contacted customer support by live chat. If you order late, you will wait for 2 hours and then they will call you and say the food is cancelled.
I am not going to contact you guys. You are SCAMMERS!!!!! Do not deal with this company, the terms and conditions they have are insane, and I think illegal too, the food NEVER comes, and they DO NOT refund you. They just steal your money.

I've lived in Geneva a couple of years and have used Smood on and off. Approximately 1 in 3 of my orders have a problem, missing items, wrong items, cold food, delivery times over 2 hours. They don't inform you, they will just credit money back to your Smood account. Today my order was missing 4 items out of 6. I'm now tired of having to talk to their help desk and have deleted the app.

Worse food ordering experience ever. Their prices and wiating times are longer than any others and the worse part is that they dont even deliver on the time they say!!! It is impossible to reach anyone on the chat or on the phone. We called the restaurant and the food had been ready for already 30min and no one was coming to pick it up. It is a scandalously bad service - DO NOT USE IT

I ordered 2 pizzas at 13:30 and paid with Paypal, finally, at my 4th order they delivered only 1 pizza after 20:00 o'clock! Initially I wanted just my money back on Paypal, but they only gave me the same sum as a discount (credit) on their site! I was very hungry (already when I first time ordered at 13:30) and had to wait over 6h! Because the vendors of the first 3 orders do not work with smood and/or did not receive the order (???).
As I said, NEVER smood.ch anymore for me. Not professional, very bad company!

Disaster. Always some issues with delivery, they find stupid excuses and don’t deliver and then never reimburse. The company shouldn’t exist anymore.

Placed an order. Took them 50 minutes to figured out the restaurant was not open that day. They notified me 5 mins before delivery time by sending me an email to say I would be reimbursed. I find out 5 days later that in fact their “policy” is not to offer reimbursements, only credits in their “smood wallet”, even if it was 100% their mistake. Customer service was useless and so was manager. Never again.

Be careful, no refunds if something goes wrong!! The restaurant forgot to inlcude one item in the order, and Smood refuses to refund the money. "Our policy is only vouchers, no money refunds". Why do I have to accept a voucher if it was your mistake? You did not deliver what I paid for. Who needs vouchers for such a bad service anyway? Never again.

I ordered this food yesterday morning for delivery at 8.30pm. The order was accepted by Smood and the Hong Kong Dragon Restaurant in Baar.
The order was for a a whole crispy duck costing Chf 137 and we had friends coming around to have a Saturday evening dinner so I thought it best to give plenty of notice (8.5 hours) because it was time critical. We were all ready with our preparations, garnishing's and drinks when at 8.23pm (7 minutes before the food was due to arrive), I received an email from Smood telling me the order was cancelled, (but please use Smood again). I ordered the food 8.5 hours in advance, do Smood expect me to believe they found out about a problem 7 minutes before it arrived? This company is completely incompetent and left me with a dinner party at 8.30pm on a Saturday night with no food (you won't find a replacement at that time).
This was an extremely unprofessional experience and I will not risk using Smood again.

We ordered two normal burgers, how hard can it be? Also, why do we need to provide a phone number if they can't even call and ask if anything is unclear. Just not delivering part of the order is extremely unacceptable. Even worse than delivering wrong food.

Gosh - what a disappointment with Smood. We ordered dinner for our children from Burger King and when the order arrived the ice cream melted, items were missing, and the burgers were ice-cold. We certainly weren't going to feed this to our kids - who knows what kind of bacteria were on the burgers. I contacted Smood through their chat function and was told that Smood isn't responsible for the quality of food, and I'd have to work it out with the restaurant myself. If Smood - who has brokered deals with the restaurants and is endorsing them through their website isn't responsible for food quality well - who is? More than that, to not offer a refund for food that was missing and inedible is bizarre. I've never ordered with Smood again.
