Efficient at the paperwork and getting done without time wasting. Know their vehicles and explain variations.

Paid for car hire 9 month ago, paid insurance but no still had to put a 2000.00 deposit for insurance.
Took car back and they said there was a spot of ash on dash and smelt smoke and charged a 250.00 cleaning fee..

Being able to do everything online prior to pick up makes it all so much easier and faster - just present my licence, sign and go.
I've always had friendly staff who know what they're doing - that kinda helps with the experience.

Easy check in. Rental terms were thoroughly explained.
Had some issues with Apple car play, staff were very helpful.
Bit of a wait for the shuttle, about 30 mins.
Overall a good experience.

What else do you want from a car hire company except a good and fair price, which was the case .
we have hired for 6 weeks to tour New Zealand so a follow up review will be needed when we give back the vehicle in Auckland

Rental cars are all the same. The difference is the customer orientation of the personell. I rented at Cristchurch. The people there helped me finding the best insurance package, and were super friendly and supportive, thumbs up!

We had booked a Premium SUV more than 6 months in advance. We were first handed an old Mitsubishi Outlander with more than 150K on the clock. We complained and a better car was quickly found by a very competent and understanding employee - but first impression was not good

Service was amazing. The staff were friendly and worked efficiently for a speedy experience. It was as simple as 1-2-3. They have an option for restricted license drivers which I found most rental services didn't have, which added another check in my books. Hopefully I get to return to Christchurch again sometime soon so I can rebook. Much appreciated!

Easy pickup and drop-off process, and the vehicle provided was a new hybrid, which was a great plus. Overall, everything went smoothly and the car was in excellent condition.

The only downside was the debit card transaction charges added to the total amount. For a large rental company, especially when already charging premium location fees and other extra charges, these transaction fees were unexpected. It would be more customer-friendly if such costs were covered by the company.

Aside from this issue, the rental experience was very very good.

The team at Snap were great and went out of their
way to help.
We were an hour early than scheduled but that was no problem as they picked us up at the airport and as the car was not ready, they dropped us off at a cafe until the car was ready.

Easy to find, happy to try and upgrade car even though it turned out to be impossible. Very friendly and chatty
