I am the Treasurer on the Board of a small HOA (less than 25 units), looking for a software solution for our accounting and Association records. I found Software Advice with their summary info and online ratings to be very helpful. But what really saved me hours and hours of additional research was talking to a Software Advisor who narrowed down my choices and helped me focus on just selected software that matched my needs and budget.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences with Software Advice. We need to make a change in software but are very inexperienced. Our rep Ryan has spent a considerable amount of time explaining the software buying process and products. I feel like we are getting solid information that will allow us to make an informed decision, not just a stab in the dark.
Getting this type of support and followup is rare these days. Our team feels much more confident.

What made my experience great was the quick response from this team and then I had multiple companies reaching out to me with offers without me having to type repeated information. These companies were solid and already had proposals ready because of the nature of their business but mostly because they were prepared after my one phone conversation with Software Advice.

Great experience that was heavy on expert advice and light on pressure

I wrote a review, after a day I get some email that i need to "identify my identity" which sends me to a website which loops from the question if I have a linkedin account to the page that i need to validate my identity. I think they have a deal with companies that they "review" to just publish positive reviews.

I was not expecting to receive a phone call and a list of personalized recommendations based on our company's needs, but it was a huge help. That alone saved me hours of time I would have spent researching and trying to find software solutions on my own. Within a few days I had already met with and seen demos for 3 different software packages that will work for our business. Thank you!

Housecall pro gives outstanding customer service. They want you to feel comfortable with their software, meaning that you know how to use all the cool features. They have a great response team in case you ever need anything or in case you're having trouble understanding their software. I totally recommend Housecall Pro for business starters.

Software Advice was invaluable when I was not even sure what I was looking for!

The Software Reviewers were exceptionally helpful & took the time to review & compare several Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms based on my specific criteria. They then created a top 5 list of the platforms meeting our specific needs. They even arranged demos for the platforms, saving a ton of time. And this entire service was shockingly free!!! I would have willingly paid for the service given how much time & effort it saved me. We selected our new EMR, which was the one that was recommended as #1 by the Reviewers. We have since implemented it & so far we couldn't be happier with their recommendations & the choice we made based on that. If you are looking at implementing a new platform or software program, I would highly recommend using Software Advice. They will save you a ton of time & effort & select the best platform based on your specific needs & wants. I will absolutely use them again if I even need another platform. Thanks so Much!

Using Software Advice made my job of selecting a new software easy. Software advice sent me great solutions for my use case. I only had to share what I needed once and all of the vendors I spoke to knew what I needed and when I was looking to have it launched.

What a shady dealing tactic. I NEVER signed up to speak with your salesman, I signed up for a list to be sent to my email.

Do not get roped into this dupe of a service. Over 90% of the leads we received were invalid. We requested a refund several times - they make it very difficult so you get worn down and move on. We tried for several months and invested thousands of dollars. I do not think one lead turned out for us. We tried to work with them and we were quire earnest in our attempt. End of day this is a well dressed scam. Please do not waste your money. You want leads this is not the way forward.

My review of a software was honest, complete, respectful and helpful, but I haven’t heard back from them. So, if I didn't hear back, it's because they didn't publish my review. So, if they didn't, I can only assume that they are being paid by the software and they are not independent and unbiased. So, you will keep buying software you shouldn't because you cannot rely on those website to get honest reviews.
