Over 4 years ago Solomon Business Partners persuaded my wife and I to part with £50,000 of savings on an off-plan project called Eclipse in the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool.

Everybody knows that Covid interrupted everything. However, we were never told by Solomon Partners that there might be a problem with our investment.

Recently, I was signposted to Lockings Solicitors who informed us that the company (St James Liverpool Ltd) went into liquidation. They also signposted us to Insolvency (gov.uk) who can assist with debt recovery. This is presently our position.

Meanwhile and to this date, we still have had no sign from Solomon Partners of any kind of client care, reassurance, help or apology. We are presently waiting to hear back from Solomon Partners about the process for making a full apology and showing some humanity. Our £50,000 investment was made in trust with Solomon Partners. They should not be free to continue making business when something as immoral as this is taking place. I am referring to those in authority in the company who make the big decisions. They need to show accountability. We will be asking for a face-to-face meeting with those in authority. I will update my review once Solomon Partners seriously engage with us and inform of their actions.

The guaranteed rental investment properties are being sold on the basis of LIES, HALF TRUTHS, MASSAGED FIGURES, VAGUENESS and LACK OF INFORMATION.
Do not give SOLOMON your money unless you are happy to see it fly out of your bank account!
Purchase costs and fees are massively inaccurate. What should have cost us under £2000 in fees, actually cost us over £7000.
Rental incomes are not true. The amount is not guaranteed. There are more costs that the rental management company will impose periodically.
When we expressed our concerns at how more and more fees were being imposed on us through the buying process, we were told that these were all normal and usual. So why had these "usual" and "normal" costs not been mentioned or alluded to, before we were asked to put down money? Simple - because the figures they presented were nonsense and completely manipulated to show an 8% rental return .
Deposits are non refundable. Which seems grossly unfair. We had to hand over our second instalment BEFORE we even had a mortgage offer. We had no choice.
If we had not or could not complete the sale, we would have lost our deposits and the money already spent on fees.
We dealt with the Director of Sales. Sometimes she was quite rude and impatient with us, when we asked for more information. She would tell us things verbally, which turned out not to be true.
This was supposed to be a slick professional purchase with a set budget. It has been horrendous. So stressful. We feel that we have been lied to, belittled and misled. These people should be stopped from trading because they are unprofessional and a company of liars.

I had opportunity of discussing an off plan investment of a property with Solomon Investment Partners. Jordan Baxter was superb. He painstakingly went through the whole process explaining in detail all the stages involved. He also provided a few alternatives with illustrations and projections, including financing options. It was a complete, professional and reliable service. We had several discussions and each time he was very punctual with agenda for each meeting prepared. I felt that I was in capable and trustworthy hands and can totally rely on Soloman Investment Partners to assist with my investment goals with total confidence. Thank you Jordan.

The built took longer than I thought (over a year!!) but my agent answered my questions when I had them. I have now completed on the deal and so hope for my rental income to arrive soon. I want to see how my apartment goes before buying another.

I worked with Zacc and Jordan on an off-plan property in Wolverhampton. In truth the development was slightly delayed but when completion came about DICIO we’re able to source me a financing option for the property. I have since completed and started receiving a rental return.

It has not all been smooth sailing but I cannot fault Solomons for helping at each stage. I will be investing again in the future. Thanks again Zacc and Jordan

Lets not kid each othere Solomans.
Dicio point blank a few weeks stressed they could not secure a mortgage. I was asked by my independent mortgage brocker to find out why and Stephanie Mckeown stated a valuation was not carried out on your unit as the lender declined all applications following the valuation.
Unfortunately, the Valuer has noted it has unsuitable tenent demand due to the position and attributes and has given a nil value.
We consider that the property is an unsuitable security for mortgage purposes and therefore nil capital and rental valuation figures have been provided.
So basically the apartment was mis sold as a great opportunity on a lovely area.
I also asked local estate agents to value the property so i could sell the nightmare and also measure it because lockings said it could potentially be less than 30 metres long that would also render it unmortgageable.
But Empire the builders tryed ever trick on the book to allow anyone access.
Dicio explained that they had been knocked back by 40 brockers.
My independence brocker was also exhausted by it all.
13 similar investors from our group chat are currently suffering the same predicament.
Angelique the other day othered a bridging loan with probably extortionate rates.
I initially purchased the property as a buy to let mortgage with Solomons 3 years ago as an investment.
The rent generated by a tenant and fees ultimately would of not covered this , so i would of been paying for a tenent to stay there.

Recently worked with Chris who made the whole experience really easy. Definitely plan on working with him again soon.

After doing my research I found Solomon Investment Company online and contacted them for further support.
Simultaneously I was contacted by Zacc.

Working with Solomon has at times been frustrating due to the development delays. At times I felt that my flat was never to be built and I’d lose my money. The updates from the developer were really bad but my flat is now bought and paid for. Solomons have helped along the way to get me through the process.

Solomon Investment Partners is a fraudulent company.

Do not provide any deposit as you will not get to the end product and you will not receive your deposit.

When it comes to realisation, like WARD and Co, Solomon Investment Partners would have declared bankruptcy and undoubtedly they are a limited company, all their assets would have been allocated elsewhere so you will not be able to claim anything back.

Solomon Investment Partners were previously Ward and Co, same business now under a different name.

We lost £8k of our hard earned savings....so be vigilant, do your homework before you part with your savings.

This is my second property with Natalie I would be lying if I said everything went smoothly . Buying off plan has a lot of benefits. The only thing that didn’t go to plan was the delay with the development. However this was always stated even before I decided to proceed and there are always risks. My mortgage rates are higher then expect but no one could have predicted this was going to happen.
My apartment is completed and I am receiving an assured income but my main focus was the capital growth of the property over time. Which after getting a valuation I have made money before starting rental income. I am extremely happy with the regular communication with Natalie and how straight to the point she is. This is a very good investment and now growing my portfolio after taking her advice I am confident about my goals and we’re I want to be in the next 15 years.

Please do not invest in Solomon Investment Partners. I believe they lack integrity and are just about sales and not client care. My property was valued lower than the selling price. Now I am being asked by the MP to cough out an additional £19,000. A friend already told me more money requests might come through. There were concerns raised by warranty cover note that were not addressed by the sellers and I have raised concerns with Solomon Investments and nothing is forthcoming. This is not acceptable, the property was represented as a new built but it is not, it is a conversion. I don't mind joining someone who is getting a litigation lawyer Please contact me if you have been affected

Locking advised last week , after buying a property in Doncaster after securing , 3 years ago from Solomans Investors.
Dicio/RN RAINSTONE mortgage (Solomans inhouse) said i qualified for a mortgage but Fire alarm & unsuitable tenant demand due to location has resulted in numerous Lenders declining a mortgage.
I will probably lose £15 grand now because of this mis-sold property.
Solomans said they would help with the morgage when i exchanged but Chris 'show me the Way' went AWOL when i most needed him.
He was supposed to be my customer representative.
