4 Star We first purchased a property in 2018, everything was smooth, delivered promptly and the mortgage was easy. As a result of that experience we decided to reinvest and committed to a further 5 properties. All of these have been delayed, 1 by over a year we understand Covid and other delays have affected this but its frustrating we have asked for discount from the developer who haven’t bothered to respond
Solomon though have been accommodating and on hand to assist. We would recommend wholeheartedly using Solomon but Empire Property Concepts could do with some customer service advice from them!

Avoid this company - developments never complete and you are risking huge sums - also not FCA regulated.

5 star Dealt with Andy Court when after reserving I had some doubts about my decision. How professional, he listened to my worries and even met me and took me to see the property I bought in Redditch. I cannot speak highly enough of him or all the other people I have met at the Solomon offices.

I found the company through my online research and than Mss. Josie Hartley contacted me and she delivered all the information i requested on time and well organized. As someone looking for my first property investment I was in need of guidance. I spoke with James at Solomon and he provided me with some fantastic advice as well as teaching me some things I didn’t know about buy to let property. I have typically done HMO property investment. However I found this time consuming as I work full time. After discussing the options available with Zacc, it has given me the ability to have a completely hands off passive income. It was no brainer as I work a full time job and I still know I’m making income without having the stress of managing the property myself.
Zacc Caveney and Jordan Baxter are people I would definitely recommend when looking to purchase a BTL property.

This was our second time investing in a buy to let property. We ideally wanted something completely hands off. Zacc got in touch with us and offered some great knowledge and then booked us in with an experienced consultant Jordan Baxter who took care of the rest. After nearly 4 years and 90k in deposits and legal fees i can not see how so many investors in wolverhampton and Doncaster can be left so high and dry and out of pocket and we lose everything through no fault of our own i've an excellent credit rating and tried no less than 6 lenders and could not secure a property , no insurance back up or address scheme that cover this and no chance of getting a deposit returned , i can not recommend this as a positive outcome at all and a very poor outcome for so many investors

Always available to answer my calls and responds quickly to my messages, Natalie is professional and very knowledgeable making this the easiest decision for myself and family. We wanted to put our saving into property but did not know we’re to start or anything about the process. Natalie spent a lot of time with me via zoom calls, sharing her screen showing me the returns I will be receiving. Once confident I knew it was time to invest. Extremely poor experience. My investment in Ringway, Newcastle is stuck in limbo since October 2021 with no clear communication or clarity on what is happening. I am now writing to request for a refund of all expenses borne by me. What a waste of time.

Update (25th May 2023): After posting this review, i was contacted (finally!) mentioning that they can proceed only after the review is taken down. Even in that communication , all i read was Solomon "beating around the bush" with no clarity on the status of the project.

We engaged with Solomon Investment Partners for our second off plan investment having previously invested through another company. From the initial call following our enquiry through to securing a property have found Josie and SIP much more personable, engaging and helpful than previous company. Josie has been a pleasure to work with to find a suitable investment property, providing a great deal of information, responding to our queries and making herself available as needed.

As a completely new investor, I was researching on the internet for a reliable company to guide me in this journey. This is how I found Solomon Investment Partners and after reading all the reviews I decided to send an inquiry form. I was contacted very quickly for an initial conversation. The agent was very nice and it did not sound like an aggressive or "too good to be true" sales agent. After the initial call, I was introduced to a property specialist that can explain to me more about the services that the Solomon Investment Partners provide, the property that they have on the market, the network of specialists they are working with and many other information. The property specialist allocated to me was Josie Hartley, and we had quite a few hours of Zoom meetings trying to find the best investment solution for my particular situation and budget. Josie is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge, expertise and confidence. The communication is great and she was always available for quick questions or information. I decided to purchase a property in Liverpool and I'm quite excited about it as this is one of my favourite cities in England. However, the completion date is only next year. So far the process was clear, informative and smooth. I'm looking forward to the completion and I will definitely come back with a feedback review of the whole journey. Until then, 5 Stars for Josie and Solomun Investment.

I have a number of investment properties but this is the first time I have dealt with Solomon. I purchased 7 flats in Scotland, however they were not new build (which I think is a little different for them). I dealt with a great Sales agent who was very helpful. The original deal was sold as a 10% discount against the value and a 10% guaranteed rent (with the current rent about 10% anyway). There was also some other additional bits like reduced legal and broker fees.

I managed to agree some different terms:
a lower deposit (phew)
A price reduction would be applied if it didn’t value up (as I was concerned they were over priced) and after a strange abrupt conversation (where I was told that they didn’t think I was going to take them irrespective of what we agreed) I reserved them and paid the deposit.

Unfortunately turns out the units didn’t value up and not only were not worth 10% more than I was paying, but were worth about 5% less. Luckily I had agreed if that happened at least the price would be reduced.

The current rental figures were closer to a 6.5% yield, not 10%.

I Was then almost ready to complete and I needed my deposit back to pass to my solicitor. They were not willing to return it until post completion. I am still not sure why! Fortunately for me I had extra cash to be able to complete (to make use of a lower interest rate before the loan offer expired).

4 weeks on now and still no return of the deposit. I do hope I get this back!

Luckily I have done this all before, but for someone less experienced, I see between the down valuation of 15% against the expected value and the current rent much lower than expected, to find yourself at the point of spending almost £4K on legals, brokers, valuations, to then decide to walk away or not!

I have nothing but praise for the sales agent, but given the whole experience, I wouldn’t use them again and fingers crossed to get my deposit back.
