I gave it one star because there is nothing below that sadly. I purchased a MFC-L3770CDW printer about 18 months ago. It has never ever printed a decent page, the colours are awful, the worse prin... See more

Do you not get a labeller
The overpriced labeller labels are bad quality and will malfunction and stop working properly.
BAD SUPPORT!
Every Encounter I had was answered with we don't know or can't help.
They are hiding the fact that you…
They are hiding the fact that you cannot print from iPhone via NFC on their P-Touch label printers.
Nobody is home
You call them and there is no answer a lot of the time. When you do get an answer, it is often someone who does not know much and does not speak useful English and cannot get hold of a supervisor.
Hopeless and helpless
I have owned Brother MFC-7360N
I have owned Brother MFC-7360N, black and white laser copier/printer for about ten years and I have owned a Brother HL-3150-CDW for about six years.
The black and white printer has been reliable and scans and prints to a high standard. When I have had problems, these have been solved by searching on-line for solutions.
Technical Support for these products is non-existent. Having managed without technical support with the black and white machine, I bought the duplex-colour-laser 3150 expecting to get-by in a similar way; but, now it is throwing problems regularly and, after about 3,000 pages, I expect to recycle it rather than spend money trying to fix it.
A call to Brother Technical Support will begin with a strange, disrespectful, conversation, where you will be accused of using non-original 'compatible' cartridges. I have always used genuine Brother cartridges. Stating this will result in further attempts to persuade you tell the truth.
Let me assure you that, even if you manage to get the person on the other end of the phone to accept that you are telling the truth, you will never be referred to a person with technical knowledge of your machine.
Ring technical support and be humiliated, if you like; but, you will not get help.
I have just spent £450 on a Canon photo printer. My expectations are modest and I am pleased with the results at the moment. I have had a Canon IP-110 battery-operated printer in my work-van for the last six years and it has never given any trouble, so I am optimistic. I have never needed to contact Canon technical support.
Horrible customer service. Zero tech support.
Recently bought a printer that would not connect. I spent hours following all installation instructions, trouble shooting, online trouble shooting guides and it would. It connect. I reached out to what they call “customer service” through email because their phone hours are only available when I’m working.
They simply told me to call. I told them their short east coast business hours were not convenient and I can’t miss work to trouble shoot a printer. Their response was to tell me to call them. I also. Stated why that wouldn’t work and their hours don’t work for those on the west coast.
They suggested checking my settings. All were fine. I had a friend bring their (different brand) printer over - it connected immediately. Took my laptop to a friends, connected to Wi-Fi and was immediately able to connect with their printer.
I responded with this information and they again said I’d need to call (and miss work). I again stated the hours were not doable (closing at 2:30 PM pst).
They then simply closed my ticket. No support at all. Can only help over the phone m-f east coast business hours. Horrible support.
Printer? Good....Customer Service? Not
I really like the Brother Printer line. However, if you have a problem, be ready to spend time on hold waiting for an Agent. Of course, that is after the Chat being a waste of time if your issue isn't listed. An offer to leave a number for a callback is another waste of time. I sat home all day trying to talk to an Agent and the call never came. AND, make sure you have the right browser to print a label to recycle a tone cartridge! After 3 attempts I would have to change my browser (the same one that I registered the printer with) which I didn't choose to do.....the result? The cartridge hit the landfill. Their programmers need to accept any legitimate browser. (Even the Agents, when you finally reach one, are not permitted to email a label. All needed info to do this was included on registration of printer!!!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. They sell a printer which supposedly works with a Macbook M1 Pro, but of course because they are stuck in the 1990s it did not. After troubleshooting for 2 hours with a tech, there was nothing that could be done, so naturally, a return was requested. I just received the notice of return and apparently I have to pay for shipping their piece of trash product back to them.
This is the last Brother product I will ever buy. Their products suck and end up as paper weights way before they should. Plus, the customer service is terrible.
Additionally, they are saying they can deny the return if the product isn't completely saleable when it arrives to their warehouse. It is your fault I am having to return this piece of trash. If you were actually Mac compatible like you claim to be, this wouldn't be a problem. This includes an original packing slip, which was not included in the box when I received it. Additionally, it was in a box that was way too big for the item and it was rattling around in the box when it was delivered because they didn't use any packing materials to keep the product safe.
This company deserves a total boycott. Do not buy from them!! You are the worst company ever!
bought a label maker
bought a label maker. stopped working after one month. after numerous phone calls, chats, intentional delays, finally spoke to a tech guy who walked us through getting it to work. a month later, it stopped working again. they say its under warranty but its impossible to process a claim. i was on hold 20 minutes, then got disconnected. went to chat, only to be told they needed to "escalate". another phone call, nothing. yet another phone call, still nothing. another chat, nothing. they do everything they can to avoid honoring their warrantee. completely dishonorable. i will never buy another product from them. i have a 200 dollar paperweight.
Brother anything, never disappoints !
I bought a simple, basic Brother sewing machine (85.00) at Walmart. My expectations were not big but this machine was just like my 30+ experience w Bother Laser printers and sewing machines (I enjoy gifting these) just superb! A lot for a little money! Never disappoints!!
Brother: False advertising on Black Friday
Brother: False advertising on Black Friday
I have a Brother MFCL3370CDW and I am pleased with it. I bought it from a store rather than directly from Brother as their website indicated all models not to be available, which was incredible. On Black Friday they announced a 20% reduction on toner which brought the TN223 4PK down from $350.99 to 280.79 under coupon BF20NKTN. I tried to purchase it online and after 4 unsuccessful attempts in which 4 different credit cards were refused I decided to wait a day and retry: same outcome. Order accepted, coupon included automatically, card refused. I decided to chat online with a consultant who after 4 communications asked me where I found that price and I had to explain that it was on their website for Black Friday! After 45 minutes she came back telling me that this specific item was not included in the discounts.
Their website clearly indicated that it was a sale item.
Their online ordering accepted the transaction.
Their online ordering automatically included the coupon.
Their online ordering refused "the credit cards" and not the item.
I asked before ending the Chart for a supervisor to call me back on my cell.
No one did.
I wasted 2 hours because of false advertising.
Is this a respectable company.
The answer is a resounding "NO".
Laser printer customer service
Excellent customer service, on an older laser printer model, solving an obscure software problem.
Great laser printer
Despite all the poor reviews here, I must say, that Brother so far has been the ONLY reliable all-in-one I've owned in over 5 years. Beforehand I've had HP and Epson, and both went trash after a few months. At least this Brother is a laser that prints beautifully, and offers continuous (double sided) scanning for digitizing my files. I'm on 6mos now, with no problems. Haven't had to replace the laser toner yet. A giant thumbs up for me.
Horrible company and rubbish products
Horrible company. Unsustainable like most companies now, hiding behind greenwashing.
I had a printer that lasted a few months and was still in warranty, they blamed everything else they could to not replace it or fix it. Was advised many different things, even had a call out where the engineer said it would be able to be fixed however I received an email stating otherwise. Said if I wanted it fixed I needed to pay more than the amount the printer cost. Such a waste couldn't possibly buy from them again and would advise others not to. Can see now why they have 1 star.
Don't waste your money
I bought a HL-L3210CW so I could print labels for my business. Somehow it changes the printer feed on its own from the tray to manual feed, which means I have to stand there and feed it each sheet of paper I want to print. It also stays in sleep mode 99% of the time, despite me looking up how to change the settings to get it out of sleep mode over and over again and inputting them to wake it up. When it does actually attempt to print something, it constantly says there is a paper jam when there isn't. This printer is nothing but a huge waste of time. I've tried going the customer service route several times in the past and it got me nowhere. I'll never buy another Brother printer again.
Worst customer support ever!
I purchased a refurbished Brother laser…
I purchased a refurbished Brother laser printer and was unable to get through the wireless connection setup. The cd could not be read on my computer and I could not set up using the weblink due to not getting past the wireless issue. FINALLY I called. The wait was not too bad, about 20 min. The help I was given by CHEV was absolutely outstanding. The process was easy, she walked me through every step, was very patient with my slow computer, registered my product and was perfect in every way.
Support is not helpful at all
As mentioned in other posts, their support is not support. They send links that don't resolve the problems. Tell you they'll send emails that never are delivered. Tell you to contact them later if it continues. Then full circle back. They have you setup an account and seem to not even keep track of their messages to that account. Just odd, bad support. One of the worse I dealt with and I deal with a lot of companies. Only review the bad and the great ones. Unfortunately, this is a bad one.
DCP-L2520 requires a warning added to Quick Set Up
The installation guide (Quick Set Up) has a link to follow: support.brother.com
THIS LINK has one period mark difference from another site where I was fooled into paying £1 - thus giving my card details. I would expect a company as large as Brother to tackle this. (Add a warning?)
Additionally the simple additional information that patience is required and the machine might take five to ten minutes to complete setting up would be useful! That's why I went to the help site.
Once it is set up - The DCP -L2520 DW is a great machine!!
Purchased a printer - crosborder warranty
Purchased a printer - 0 worldwide warranty coverage
Unfortunately, when you are purchasing printer in Europe, by using cross-border purchase, you immediately got into trouble with a warranty support.
Saying, if you've purchased printer in DE,
BROTHER CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE GmbH will reject to register and service it, and more over communications are held in not so polite form.
Support is generally - ground level.
You would also not be able to register that on brother.de, if you have address in other country.
From good points - while printer works - and no need for a support, things are quite good.
