I own several pieces from the company…

I own several pieces from the company that I just simply love, and so I remain supportive which is why my rating is a 3. However, I ordered a dress in August 2022 that I totally forgot about and only remembered when I was checking on the status of an order I made in September 2022.

I am hopeful that the production and shipping issues improve soon. I really want this company to thrive, but in order to do so the pervasive problems with completing orders must be solved.

Good news is, the last time I checked on the status of your items, we've seen an update stating that it's on its way to your local USPS facility. Once your USPS facility receives it, they will proceed to make the final delivery and that does not take long to happen. Usually about 2 to 4 days.

Save your time and money and don’t…

Save your time and money and don’t order anything from them! Ordered a dress for a wedding and only after I realized that the company is just regular China dropshippers .. the website say 2-3 weeks for delivery- it’s been a month already and still no dress. Had to dispute the charge with Amex.

I ordered a blazer on March 5th (March…

I ordered a blazer on March 5th (March 5th!) and still haven't received it. To Souk's credit, they honored a partial refund, due to the delay in shipping. In July, I requested a full refund, as it was clear that I wasn't going to receive the blazer. Aug 3rd, I sent an email to ask about the refund. It is Aug 21st and I haven't received a refund or a reply...It's cool. Keep it...DONE!

The response seems disingenuous. If Souk was motivated to make things right, you should have replied to my email request for a refund on Aug 3rd. Not until my review did you respond...and Paypal...smh. Keep the money, sis.

I placed an order with this company…

I placed an order with this company over a month ago and still have not received my package. Upon tracking it appears to be lost in the mail, however, their response to me is to REORDER the items and they will give me a coupon and send me an invoice. I cannot file a claim for the package because I don't have the packaging info. I will never order from here again. Beware

BAD EXPERIENCE !!!

Good evening, where are you with the refund of my order of March 12, 2022 ?

It has now been 5 months since you were unable to honor my order and I have been waiting for my refund for several days. The only answers I get are always the same answers:

" Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We just want to let you know that we're terribly sorry for the impression we had given you this time. Let me reach out to our billing department again and see what is going on with your refund. "

" I've requested to process a refund for order #123527 for $34.13. Please note that it takes 5-7 business days to process your refund and you shall receive a refund confirmation email. "

" We sincerely apologize that your order has not been shipped up to now. It saddens us to hear that you no longer want to wait for your order, but as a fellow online shopper we completely understand where you're coming from, and we do agree that the delay on this particular order is less than ideal and is in fact, very upsetting. "
" We would like to thank you for your extreme patience despite all the delays regarding your refund. We are happy to inform you refunds have already started rolling out this week. We would like to request your extended patience. "

If your financial department has a problem, please send me back my money on my PayPal account !!

No items received

Well, I placed an order back in May. After ordering my items, I noticed on their website that they were having 6 week shipping delays. Although this was concerning to me, I left it alone. I’ve been home recovering from the birth of my twins. I then saw a notification on their website that items ordered within my timeframe where shipped out. After getting no notice of this personally, I reached out via email. They responded very quickly stating that my items had been shipped. They provided a tracking number from a shipping service outside of the US. The one thing that I liked about this company from what I thought I saw was that they were from the US. In fact, I thought they were based out of my hometown of Newark,NJ. To get to the point, although I have a shipping number, I still don’t have my items and it looks like they haven’t made it to the US as of yet. I don’t think I would ever buy from this company again. I feel like I’ve been scammed.

I finally did receive my items. I must say, after this experience, I was expecting the clothes to not have the best quality. I was wrong! The quality of the clothes is great. Additionally, customer service has been stellar. Initially, I thought that I wouldn’t order from them again but I think I will give them another try.

17 weeks to receive crappy stuff

I placed my order on March 16, 2022 for a wedding in June. The items just arrived today (July 25). That’s 17 weeks (!!) with zero communication from the company about the delays.

And as I feared, the quality is suspect- loose threads and buttons, cheap hardware- and the strapless dress doesn’t fit at all (the cups for the boobs are off-center making it impossible to zip or wear).

Honestly, based on these reviews about returns/refunds and the company’s weird replies, it’s not worth the increased blood pressure to fight them for my money back.

I accept that I got scammed, but if you’re here reading these reviews before you buy, BELIEVE THEM. Save your sanity, hope, and money and support a local minority-owned WELL RUN business instead.

Do Not Buy!!!! Scam!!!!

I purchased an item at the beginning of April. Around the end of April the item still hasn’t shipped. I called the company to cancel my order and asked for a full refund. Fraudulent Company

I ordered 3 items on the 1st of January 2022. It took them till March 2022 to tell me that 1 item on my order was no longer available. From March 2022 to June 2022 they promised me a soon delivery on the remaining 2 items. And then at the end of June 2022 they told me that none of my items were available and they would give me a refund. After another month of waiting on a refund, in July of 2022 I finally had to file a fraud complaint with my credit card company. This company took an order and my money and never sent the items or refunded me in 7 months. I will NEVER order from this company again. Complete frauds!!!

Cheap Poorly made and sewn items

Cheap Poorly made and sewn items. One of my dresses came without a belt loop. Ordered an xl fits like a medium and they didn’t send the earrings I ordered. Emailed them about it response was an apology and agreed to ship. I got nothing. Mine waisted and I’ll never order again. I think this is an low key Asian sweatshop company that tries to mimic high end dresses and misses the mark. Will never order from this company again.

No Accountability and Item Never Received…

This is email to Fits after he finally wrote me back today at 3:10p.m.
Fits, this is the email that was sent to me this morning. The email I have from this morning, says that my order for a dress was cancelled due to insufficient inventory.

Fits does not bother to read the four emails I sent that contained pictures of the order, order number and intem and proceeds to tell me about a refund for a coat.

This has absolutely nothing to do with a darn coat that I ordered and never received. This is about a dress I ordered (Taulov Dress × 1 )  in January 16, 2022 and never received. This is the second time I ordered an item from Souk and never received it.  I want a full refund immediately. If you cannot resolve this issue, I will seek legal advice.  I paid 109.00 to Afterpay for this transaction back in January. Today is July 19, 2022 and now you decide to tell me that it was cancelled. This order should have been cancelled by the end of February 2022 not July 2022. You sent me a blanket email without any kind of apology or a solution for being inconvenienced.
Not only that, he/she tells me that I have to seek the money back from the original method I used. I cannot use those cards because they were hacked. More importantingly, it also proves how he/she did not bother to read my first 4 four emails because I clearly included the email that was sent to me this morning and how the order was cancelled after 6 long drawn out months. I do not understand how they can promise 10 shipping days for Souk Lux but yet they have disappointed customers for Souk and Sepia. Please do not respond with conscending words or fake apologies because I am not here for it. I ordered a dress in January, never received it. Then you tell me this morning on July 19, 2022 that it has been cancelled. Who does that?

I am seeking the advice of an attorney and I am done.
