Sparx. My old nemesis. Thank you for ruining my life with bookwork checks, too much homework and it looks terrible. Even Darth Vader thinks it is too bad a torture weapon even for him. In fact, we will commit the next Alderaan on Sparx HQ

so hard for my child and when they ask for help i am unable to help their needs. the site makes my child feel a wave of depression and demotivation to their school work making it hard too get them to complete their assignments

honestly this is harder than the tests its allegedly preparing us for the reason this has 1 star is you dedicated your time to make are free time basically none I should be doing other things along with a lot of other people this makes me infuriated trying to figure out what T to the (n)th term to the power of jacks watermelons that is sharing with his 19 friends equally this is rubbish

So, this APP. I'm aware some people might want more helpful reviews that just 'oh this is rubbish' or skibidi toilet references, so that's why I'm writing this. And even WITH a broad mindset, I'm giving this app 2 stars out of 5.

Let's focus on the positives first, however sparse they may be. Sparx Maths is a useful site for revision, allowing you to go over many questions, which is definitely an active way of studying. In fact, teachers may as well give out a revision list with codes for the Independent Learning linked with it. Also, the emailing about homework due MAY be a helpful way of reminding students to do their homework, however there are a lot of negatives to that also. It personalises the questions, to make the homework challenging for the user, and that's pretty much it. The main appeal to teachers is that it customises the homeworks to each student's needs, and also uses AI, which seems to be 'trendy' and useful.

The negatives. There are a LOT. :( . So, the bookwork checks are a vast waste of paper, as you have to enter the answer online anyway. They might as well give us sheets to stick in or get us to copy out questions, instead of use this. It's expensive apparently, at least compared to other maths homework platforms. The thing with getting harder over time: it doesn't allow you to get questions wrong, and instead forces you to do it over and over again until you have got it right. And yet when you do a question, it makes it harder anyway! Interesting loophole :0. The 'big brother' approach to it is annoying for students, as it is really patronising. Also, how on earth did Sparx Maths get our parent's email addresses? Through school? Admittedly, most parents would consent to this, but then again, they never asked for our parent's consent to their email??? Finally, the Sparx Maths system sometimes just picks topics randomly, with stuff you've got before. It may just be my class, but we've been kinda behind in our work (long story) so quite a lot of topics we are getting we haven't been taught in class yet.

Overall, it's a reasonable app. Good for studying and independent learning, but then again, we HAVE teachers. Don't tell me they'll be replaced by AI as well. I know that the developer used to manage Hegarty Maths, and apparently that was really great. Why he changed that into this abomination I could never tell.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

The most beta thing I have ever used. This website is not skibidi sigma or Ohio rizz. Kai cenat had a stroke using this website. All the glizzy gobblers from Ohio have chugged the grimace shake after using this. Would not recommend.
