very bad service. told me they will hold the 1000 AED deposit from my credit card but charged the full amount . this caused me to lose money in money conversion and additional credit card charges. when they supposed to collect the rental car, the staff kept on dragging the time of collection.

The trend continues from previous comments and the extreme "BAD FAITH" business practices they adapt. After the good start by dropping my car at my hotel the guy told me to just call on the day it was due back and they will sort it out. That day came i called them to collect and was told it would be 150AED to collect. when i complained that's not what was agreed the disgusting human beings in the billing department told me to speak to my sales agent which i did and he told me don't worry he will sort it out. 3 unanswered calls and many messages the same day i was still no further forward as to the collection time just being told by what's app that the driver will contact me but guess what he never did!! not that day nor the next. meantime i got notice of a speeding fine and salic bills which i asked for proof to be provided and as of one week later they have failed to provide me evidence off telling me to contact the police. 2 days later despite being told a driver will contact me i had to leave for my flight, parked the car in the hotel garage, sent them the parking bay and instructions, took a video of the condition with photographs and handed keys to concierge waiting collection from the driver that never replied or contacted us. The same day i received an invoice and a receipt for the deductions of 2 days further hire due to not returning the car despite them telling me they will send a driver to collect for two days by message and by voice.
i thankfully i have kept all the messages and communications. I also told them they were forbidden to take any further fees from my credit card or i will consider it fraudulent activity which never stopped them, the proof that even the charges they say is due to what they invoiced was incorrect and deducted. the fines that they have failed to provide proof off together with the unproved Salic charges they purported i used. in addition the extra daily rates were considerably more than the contracted amount agreed and not agreed or contracted into, and a full days hire charged the day the car was collected at lunchtime due to them being too busy to collect earlier and despite me paying the collection fee to stop the daily charges escalating in the morning.
despite all that, the un-helpful, argumentative, disrespectful attitude of the billing department is just unreal. the lack of accountability for their mis-communication on the collection of the vehicle, the continuing charges against my card was all carried out in total "BAD FAITH". Yet they managed to get another 2 days hire plus the collection fee plus the salic fees, and the alleged speeding fine was all more, much more than the deposit on the car as it seems they like to do and take from the comments below.
I return to Dubai in 2 weeks as a resident and i intend to report this matter to the relevant authority in Dubai. it seems from all the comments their "BAD FAITH" way of doing business is not very ethical practice in the UAE to say the least. It needs to be addressed and brought to the attention of the authorities to deal with and stop the consumer , visitor to Dubai getting ripped off by this company. it is my understanding no matter what, contracts of business should be entered into in the UAE in "Good Faith"! so if your thinking of renting from this car rental company, DONT!! its that simple.

Worst car rental company
The worst car rental ever in Dubai. I rented car from them three months now, even paid full insurance and transferred to another model car, but when accident happened, they just taking your money from your credit card even I have the full insurnsce without informing customer. The whole experience is such pain to me.
I absolutely not recommend this company to anyone, be careful with money and find some other car rental companies.

The most illegal company I've ever dealt with in Dubai.
I was 10 minutes away from reporting them to the police: we rented a car from them for 7 days. Speedy whatsapped us after 6 days to ask us if we wanted to renew. We confirmed we wanted to renew another 7 days, until realising that was not required as we were going on holiday, and we told them we only wanted to extend by 2 days. In writing. On whatsapp.
The extension of 2 days ONLY was CONFIRMED by Speedy in the whatsapp chat.
Then the amount for 7 days came off our card. When we queried this they DELETED their messages confirming only a 2 day extension off the whatsapp chat!!! (see attached screenshot)
I've never seen behaviour this blatantly fraudulent.
When we called them they were rude & told us that it was due to a "misunderstanding" within their company (ie: their fault) and they told us they couldn't refund it, their system "didn't allow it." Which is absurd.
The manager Joshua was equally rude - when I got on the phone with him, I started by telling him there were several things I needed to address, he retorted saying I could only address one thing.... What if there are several issues that need addressing? Why is it Speedy's rule you can ONLY address ONE complaint. After speaking with him, he agreed to refund the money, and did so within a few minutes.
Dear Speedy, apparently your system allows refunds. Funny that. So your team lied?
Just like they were dishonest deleting written messages?
Mistakes happen, had you just apologised and refunded the money it would have been no big deal, we'd have used your company again. NEVER AGAIN. You lose our business, that of anyone we know, and hopefully that of everyone that sees this review.
Suggest you stop deleting written evidence that doesn't suit you. Next time, a customer may just go to the police.

Nice way of cheating people. Again the unfair policy of deposit return after 21 days, only if you are lucky enough to receive it back. Please go ahead with complaining to Dubai police and Dubai economy complaint forum as these guys will never agree to their fraud.

They promised to replace a faulty Hyundai, but failed to do basic checks on the replacement car. The replacement car also had the same problems. They agreed to change the car the next day, as this was 1 month rental. After arising to them and making promise to change the car they refused to take any calls. My wife called many times and they lied saying they would change the car. Two days before return date they asked us to do the car to them or they'll charge us. They kept ignoring any requests we made and in the end charged even when we returned the car with no explanation why.
I would avoid these thieves and liars. They should not be business.

This is the worst rental company I have went with. They are unreliable. It's been 3 months and they have not returned my security deposit. They have only returned less than half of my security deposit. Every time I try to contact them, they are unresponsive. They keep promising to have it sorted out and but they do not. Every week for the last three weeks, I've been calling them and they keep saying "we have told the refunds team". They keep telling me that the bank will "look into it" and there has been a "refund issue". Go to GOOGLE and look at the reviews as this seems to be a lot of people's opinion.
They will not take your complaints and needs into consideration and will keep transferring you until you have no resolution. They violate their own policies and do not adhere to them. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

I had a terrible experience with this car company in Dubai, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their customer service. When I contacted them to rent a car, I made it clear that I needed one with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for navigation purposes. They assured me that the car I requested had these features and charged me extra for it. However, when I received the car, it did not have the promised features, making it incredibly difficult to navigate while driving.
Upon complaining and requesting a replacement, they tried to blame us, suggesting that we didn't have the original iPhone and Android cables, even though we did. They eventually sent a replacement car, but it had the same issues, and once again, they placed the blame on us without even testing if the car's features were functioning properly.
To make matters worse, they attempted to charge us additional fees when we requested a complete change of car. Instead of offering a replacement at no cost given the inconvenience we had already gone through, they engaged in fraudulent behaviour by trying to charge us more money.
Throughout this ordeal, I spoke to five different people from the company, and each one gave me conflicting information.
It is extremely frustrating that the car is still with us, and they have refused to answer our calls or even check if we are okay. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company to prevent being scammed. They have zero regard for customer service and safety, as evidenced by their failure to contact us until now. This experience has been beyond appalling. Please beware

I rented a Nissan Micra in pretty bad conditions.
The radio screen did not even turn on. From the day I rented I called the company, wrote them by email, WhatsApp, web forms, etc..
I got a response after insisting a lot and then nobody ever solved anything. Never anyone came or called me back to bring a solution.
I hope no one makes the mistake of renting a car here. You pay the same as a serious car rental company and the conditions are terrible.

I am extremely disappointed with the Speedy Drive attitude
I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Speedy Drive for my recent car rental. Despite scheduling the pickup for the 11th of September, the company failed to adhere to the agreed-upon time and picked up the car a day later, on the 12th of September. Shockingly, they had the audacity to charge me an extra day's rental fee for their own fault.
What exacerbated the situation was the apparent lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Not only did they fail to acknowledge our grievances, but the staff members we interacted with seemed indifferent to our concerns, even going as far as to blame one another for the error. Our attempts to provide relevant details and screenshots were met with a dismissive response, merely assuring us that they would 'check and update,' without any clear timeline for resolution.
Furthermore, the tone of the communication from the company representative was notably discourteous, reflecting a lack of professionalism and customer-centric approach. While it is evident that the error lies with the company, their sluggish response and the absence of an expected resolution timeframe have only exacerbated the issue.

Speedy Drive Car rental has been a breeze experience the staff are friendly and accommodating. Any issues with the car they will provide you with an excellent/unexpected beyond service overall am very happy customer.
I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a short/long term car rental company as they have such an affordable rental rate, mention your budget and they will deliver.
