Very quick and reliable wouldn’t change to any other card reader

Excellent. Highly recommend for any small business, better than banks and other card readers. Fees are low and simple to understand the app is easy to use along with the card reader.

Quick payment , reliable machine , best reader on market

The square reader is ok. But I would like square to have a better machine that can take payment with out me using my phone to give to the customer for them to put pin code in machine. Square have been ok with me if I need help and are good in paying money in to your bank account quick.

Square is an excellent card reader facility utilising iPhone technology and is very easy to use. Highly recommended.

Such a great app, super easy to take payments in a variety of ways such as invoice, typing in card details or using reader .
The referral scheme is fantastic too helping smaller businesses get started without losing fees

I got a free reader when I opened my bank business account. It links to an app on my phone and works very efficiently. I can see payments straight away via the online dashboard. The reader is small, so takes up hardly any room and looks neat and stylish. Commission is inevitable if you're taking card payments and the Square rate is competitive.

We've had some connection problems, which can be a problem when you have a customer trying to buy something..

Also it would be better if the card reader had a key pad also for PIN, rather than handing over your mobile device to the customer.

I find Square to be a great service. One off payment for card reader and NO monthly rental fees. Perfect. It works every time unlike my old machine that often failed to get signal. Well done Square

Very easy to set up reader arrived within a few dates, payments promptly made to bank account. Able to sync with my Etsy shop which is perfect to keep my inventory up to date. Square has facility to swop cards if needed as well as acceptimg Google pay and Apple pay.
Excellent product & service.

Very happy to recommend Square Up service. As a previous user of World Pay services who charge for every different service with hidden fees for international payments etc., extremely poor admin service with different invoices from each department and contracts with no clear exit path. It was a breath of fresh air moving to Square Up. Their website is nice and easy to use and the service is all inclusive with a simple 2.75% charge (or perhaps less if you use the card reader!)

Better than iZettle and SumUp which I used before. Simply Square just works every time The other two had problems with connecting a new phone, logging on at start of day, waking up after a dormant period and freezing during transactions. I've never had any of these issues with Square. Fees are competitive and card reader was cheap. And it looks good. So 5 stars.

The Square Reader is like the iPod of the Mobile Payments world. Aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.

This is a perfect way of getting paid, the card reader is small and compact and I never leave home without it, payments are very easy and you get a instant message of payment, I rate this 10out of 10 and much better than the PayPal card reader I have which is now redundant and back in the draw.

This is the easiest reader to use that you will find on the market it allows you to take payments when customers are not present ie over the phone.. The app that accompanies it is so easy to use... Payment into your account is very good too usually 2 days but sometimes it is quicker.. The reader itself is very responsive for contactless payments or use with the keypad on the app.. Overall I can definitely recommend this reader it is so versatile and very efficient a must for any business

Totally useless. Worked for about 4 months then started having unstable connections, then stopped connecting completely even though the phone was the same. Tried everything but this is a system fault. Lost revenue due to this glitchy, poorly designed card reader. There is also no customer service on weekends so if this happens to you then you're on your own like we were.

Go for a different brand. They are nearly all better than Square.

I love my Square. Small enough to put in my pocket (I sell at fairs), quick and simple to use, payments made quickly and ability to take a payment over the phone useful. You don’t even need to buy a card reader if you don’t want one. I have received free processing several times because I have given a link to others looking for a card reader and they get free processing too so that is fab as well.
Would definitely recommend!
