Unprofessional Customer service
I recently had a rather disappointing experience with Squeegee. Initially, I spoke with a gentleman who seemed eager to assist, but unfortunately, his knowledge appeared to be limited, resulting in a prolonged process of importing my clients. The call abruptly ended, and upon requesting to speak with the same gentleman, I was met with an unprofessional response, citing a chargeable fee for further assistance, which was not communicated initially. Subsequently, when seeking resolution with a manager named Susie, I was met with dismissal and rudeness, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor communication marred what could have been a smoother interaction.

There appears to have been a bit of a misunderstanding as the call came after two replies to you, one to a chat request and another as an email reply to the same chat request, both asking you to send the files across for us to advise.
This would generally have been resolved in just a couple of minutes by one of our support team after a quick glance through the file to advise where there were errors in the formatting for you to correct. (This would not have been chargeable)
We always do our best to try and help, as the first member of our team you mentioned did for around 70 minutes with the call only ending after the line appeared to go dead at the end of the call - (we realised later that you had placed him on hold.) He also asked you to send the files across to us too as supporting the creation of a CSV file without being able to see the contents is difficult and time consuming.
We do offer importing data files as a chargeable service purely as our team are very skilled at doing this and can generally complete the task very quickly. We only charge for the time it takes us which a lot of businesses use and find very reasonable.
We apologise if this wasn't communicated with you clearly enough in the first call and for any upset caused by our manner on subsequent calls, we were trying to resolve the issue in the most efficient way by having the files sent across to us. As a way of apologising, please send us the files using the 'request a quote' section in the app under settings > data and we'll run the import for you with no charge.

Cannot recommend enough!
This app is lightyears ahead of things like Cleaner Planner and Aworka, it saves me hours of paperwork each week! I Moved over from Cleaner Planner in April 2023 as Squeegee has a lot more features to automate my business, they're always updating the app with new features too. The customer service is also brilliant, I must have asked hundreds of questions over the time I've used it and they always get back you and are very helpful, even out of typical working hours. Cannot recommend enough!

6 Happy Years
Been using Squeegee for coming up 6 years, almost since I started my business. In that time Squeegee has grown from a simple round app to a fully fledged customer organiser. If you can think it, Squeegee probably does it!
Particularly useful is the integration with TrueLayer. It has saved countless hours going back & forth between banking apps to compare which customers have paid. And the even deeper integration with GoCardless means as soon as I mark a job as ‘done’ the invoice ins generated, and the payment process has been initiated with the customer’s bank.
Being a small team and a growing app, they haven’t been without their issues. However they are always prompt to resolve them and put in place contingencies to minimise future disruptions.
Very pleased with the app and service. I recommend it to everyone I know who deals with a wealth of customers, window cleaners or otherwise!

Almost perfect
I am really pleased with this app. They are constantly improving and listening to their customers.
Routing, optimizing is great with LOTS of added features through out.
Customer communication is fantastic. Always a thorough and speedy response and make it easy enough to understand how to implement.
Negatives:
With our company needing to send 3 SMS messages each week in the near future to our customers. It will soon start to really mount up cost wise. (Emails are free)
This alone could potentially be the reason to move somewhere else unfortunately. However so far the positives actually far outweigh the negatives to need to change immediately.
It would be good to have a half hour walk through once all the training videos have been watched.
Costs extra to have a customised 'Sign up form' which is understandable as they have to do the work. A good option would be to just have a simple customise your own form.
Overall it is a quality app that really does help simplify operations. With the owners truly caring about their customers.

Regarding sign up, accounting for all of the various requirements that users have for sign up means it is not simple for us to make it user editable unfortunately although it is something we are working on.
The reason SMS messages are chargeable is that we are charged per message also (per 160 character segment in fact) so we have to pass the charges on. However, we have used our buying power to ensure that our rates are substantially better than TextLocal and other providers.
