Prompt Customer Service Support
Their customer support speed ratio is very decent. Also their staff is very attentive; I've been helped by Raphael and Montse and they have cleared all my questions and have been very kind. So far I'm very satisfied with the experience.

Stay away from STAX, Disrespectful attitude.
I am a licensed healthcare professional in the USA. I was looking for a payment processor for my newly launched telemedicine company and I came across stax due to their flat fees plus interchange model. When I called them, they outright said you are not eligible b/c you just launched your website today and you sell, Ivermectin, an FDA approved prescription medicine, that they don't like. Just for the Clarification Stax, We are a legitscript certified, telemedicine company, The website wasn't launched today, it was last updated today, as we are adding more services. Ivermectin is an FDA approved medication for parasite infection, and I am legally allowed to prescribe and dispense that. So I will be posting that our telemedicine communities and spreading the word to stay out of Stax, just an FYI, you are not the only one who offers interchange + flat fees model for telemedicine. Good luck

Shannon McEvoy was great
Shannon McEvoy went above and beyond helping so that I didn't have to keep speaking to so many people. She resolved my call in ONE call. Shannon was very pleasant and dedicated to seeing it through so that I had everything resolved. That's unusual in today's service - everyone wants to pass you to someone else. I appreciate how she even made sure that the information she gave me worked and was valid and then sent an email with additional help videos.

I've used Stax for two years
I've used Stax for two years. They will increase rates without telling you. Their online portal is terrible. Getting a response back from support takes three days if you are lucky, but a week in more typical.

Honestly
Honestly, my main complaint is with the World Bank; they held onto payments without contacting me, 4220, waited three weeks to inform me what they needed, and it was disorganized and terrible customer service. Stax Legal, I think, finally got involved when I was told to contact them, and the money was released. Almost a month for a few. But I asked to cancel my stax account because I cant handle worldbank may times. Finally on the third week of asking to cancel I was told to do a web form. Also used the terminal and services less then 30 days Stax wont give me a refund for a month, I will dispute and the terminal since there was def DTPA and shady stuff with World Bank. At this time I had major reconstruction surgery and had no time for this. I still have not received any interest for the money they held on... But since Stax did not intervene on my behalf, cancel the account when asked then threw in the form thing and now I have a terminal I cant use... They now deserve it as well,.

I own a mid size retail business and I've dealt with 4 other processors from attempts to sell, onboard, and being within contract. Stax is the best and most professional by far. Don't waste your day and go with Stax
Also Cole from OC, California was solid
Please dont make the same mistake I did…
Please dont make the same mistake I did and sign up for Stax. They are a true third party and have no control over you getting your actual money. Six months into our relationship and almost $1mm of revenue run through them, they put a freeze on my account without warning. The freeze started friday evening and included transactions from the entire weekend totaling around $45k. Not only that but they took there fees and monthly membership fee even though i did not have the revenue that was frozen. It took me 14 days to get my funds released, there was no one to call and talk to, only emails worked. Floating that kind of cashflow is tough for any small business. Dont make the same mistake i did. Switched back to my old processor immediately.

Fast and complete responses.
This USE TO BE a good card merchant.
They have raised the price year after year. the website portal is awful and has a lot of flaws. Never ever buy a wireless payment machine from them because it will not last more than a year. and ALWAYS ALWAYS check your deposit with them. They have so many glitches and issues that will cause you not to receive your payment and you have to catch those mistakes because they sure don't.

SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE HOLDING MONEY FROM PROCESSING FOR OVER A MONTH
This company has held up our money for over a month. They currently have been holding $50,000 dollars of our clients money and keep dragging out a “review process” that has been concluded for over a week now according to their last email. This is called unjust enrichment and is illegal. They have held up this money for over a month now. We will be reporting them to the SEC for an investigation into this matter and many others based on what we’ve read from other online sources.

Aaron was awesome- always within minutes text me to let me know when he would call me. And did- always! We are really bummed out to leave him- it’s only because Stax isn’t doing the surcharge line along with a tip line…. I actually have already changed merchant servers after 1 week because my representative for the new company totally sucks compared to my friend Aaron!!! Yes- I actually call him my friend because that’s what he was to me…. You are lucky to have him to represent your company- but the surcharge money was a move we needed to do! If you ever start doing the request above- I would switch back to Stax as long as he would be my representative again….
