In the past, I had several negative experiences with other sharps disposal companies, especially Divert. I searched for quotes and found Stericycle; their customer service is personal, quick to respond, and genuinely cares about their clients, especially the support staff member called Dean. Their transit and depot teams have been smooth to work with, and any required adjustments were quickly addressed. They have a great follow-up system and collection reminders. So far, everything has been positive, but I will monitor their consistency over time before finalising this review.

If I could give this company a review of -1000 I would. They are absolutely shocking and don't know what the meaning of service is!!! I have had numerous collection issues and spent hours on the phone to resolve the same problem over and over again and they just cant get it right. Their drivers obviously don't care about the job they are doing and the customer service has no control over the transport business. They are useless. They have cost me money on a number of occasions from issues with their drivers. I keep on spending valuable time that I don't have trying to resolve this ongoing issue with zero results. I wish I had never engaged with this company.

Suggestion: would be great if the collection schedule would be either automatically emailed to us each year without having to request it or we could find this on our online account

Daniele got my email address added to their system so I can receive invoices to our Account department email. This will help avoid missed invoices when other staff members are off sick

I’m leaving a second negative review. After my first I was asked to contact them. I was initially really pleased by the responsiveness. They arranged a new collect date - the exact same thing happened again. It got to the afternoon, I got suspicious so I phoned at 13.30 they told me not to worry they’d be here by 5. They didn’t show up again. I complained again- no reason why. Told I have to wait another week. I’ve cancelled and gone with PHS. Stay away from stericycle.

Deborah Blood assisted me and she was extremely helpful on both occasions. She was very friendly and I feel like she went above and beyond for me. She wasn't sure on her answers but what I appreciate is the honesty and then her also looking for other solutions to fix my problem. Overall, very friendly customer service!

Booked an end of tenancy paperwork collection. Explained that we would need to be called an hour before as we would need to give them access to the building. Also explained that we were on the first floor where there was a big lift and paperwork needed to be collected from first floor. As they could not offer earlier we had to go with the date before keys handover.
Sent a reminder email to the team the day before of all of the above and was reassured all was noted for the drivers.
After waiting most of the day today I called the team to check the status as it was getting later to the time we needed to leave. Was told the driver couldn't fit in the lift and so left to go back to the depot.
No call, and no attempt to access the office as I had said we needed a key card to enter so we would need to let him in.
Escalated to a manager in customer services who said they could not do anything to help us.
Will never use this company again.

From the moment my call was answered Mark handled my request to collect/replace my Sharp Bins in a friendly, helpful, polite, efficient and professional manner. He was a pleasure to deal with and is a credit to Stericycle.
Sent them a number of emails, regarding dangerous driving, by one of their employees [the clown was happily texting away on a phone, whilst on a very narrow, busy road]. All were ignored. Yet another company, who are far more interested in profit, than safety.
