I came across Sthetix by chance,
While conducting research into breast surgery I found Mr Alvi,
I was looking at the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and found his details.

Following a chat with one of their friendly members of staff who was not pushy just genuine and suggested I come down to meet him.

I had been to other places but felt that it was worth looking at all options available to me, as after all it is a life changing procedure so it’s not something I was about to take lightly.

My initial consultation went really well, I immediately warmed to Mr Alvi and he answered every question I had and covered everything in detail.

Following my appointment it became clear that in comparison to the places I had been Mr Alvi was clearly the specialist, answering questions that others simply had glossed over or not been able to answer. Mr Alvi didn’t just know the answers he knew all the background including any research on the topics I had broached him about.

I had two procedures a breast augmentation and fat transfer with asymmetry correction. My breasts look so natural and my Mum who is an ex-theatre nurse was so impressed, she said they were the most natural looking she had seen in all the years she had been working in the profession.

The Hospital I went to was Renacres, all the medical staff were wonderful the anaesthetist was so considerate when I explained that I was apprehensive about needles in the hand and he gave me gas so I didn’t have to feel it! The night nurses were exceptional and so kind.

All the members of staff at Sthetix were so friendly, approachable and helpful. It was a no brainer really; you get experience, excellent service and one of the top surgeons in the Country…what more could you want.

Without any hesitation I would recommend the practice and if I need any other procedures I certainly know where to go, it would be lovely to see them again!
Ultimately you want to feel safe, I can 100% say you are in good hands, such a warm friendly team.

After the birth of my 5 children, my stomach was left baggy and very unattractive and I was very depressed about how i looked and whenever i looked at myself in the mirror. I was left some money by my mum and decided to have a tummy tuck and lipo. It was the best thing i ever did. Mr Alvi transformed my mid drift turning me into the confident person i always wanted to be. the care i received at renacres was second to none, i cant fault it in any way, the staff were fabulous and took care of me very well. i would definately recommend anyone to have surgery and if you are lucky enough to have Mr Alvi as your surgeon, then perfection is what you can expect.

I'm a very nervous person and can get really anxious about any type of surgery, but when in the care of Dr Alvi and his team I couldn't feel more reassured that I'm having the best care available. I visited the clinic recently for an appointment with Mr Aziz to have a IUS coil removed. I was very nervous about this due to bad experiences elsewhere in the past. However, Mr Aziz and Karen quickly put me at ease and made the appointment much more bearable. Mr Aziz was very patient with me and informative. Karen was also very friendly and made me much more relaxed that I was on arival! I would definitely recommend Mr Aziz to anybody. Dont worry if your nervous, I was too but would now have no hesitation in booking for any future treatment necessary.

I went for a breast augmentation operation last year. My GP recommeded Sythetix and Mr Alvi and in his words 'ive heard from my patients he's the best!'. When i went for my first consultation Dr Alvi made me feel comfortable straight away, he measured me and talked through the options and asked my reasons for the procedure, from the moment i stepped through the door (without even booking any procedure ) i felt totally supported and at ease. I went to have my augmentation a few weeks later after a few more consultations and lots of trying of sizes! Mr Alvi was great because i was unsure he helped me in choosing a size that was right for the natural look i wanted and totally in proportion with my frame. After i had arrived at the hospital Mr Alvi came to see me and made sure i was okay and all ready, he literally measured me to a fraction of a millimetre to make sure it was perfect. After the procedure i literally had hardly any swelling and was just a little uncomfortable (even though i went under the muscle, i wasnt ever in lots of pain!). Ive heard lots of people have had a lot more swelling and pain, Mr Alvi came later the same day to make sure i was okay and then let me rest. the next morning i carefully put my jogging bottoms on and zip up jumper and went home, we went over bumps and pot holes and i was literally fine. My friend who had her surgery and had her implants on top of the muscle cried on the way home in pain so i couldnt believe it when i was singing to the radio all the way home! Two weeks at home i felt stiff but again, ok. After about two weeks i went to get my dressings taken off and i had the tiniest scars, i couldnt get over how small they are and friends who have been elsewhere have also commented on how tiny my scars were straight away. A year on and i have very faint scars, they look completely natural - nobody would ever know and people comment saying how lucky i am to have been born with such a 'perfect' chest! Words cant actually describe what Mr Alvi has done for me, im happy, confident and can't believe how my body has transformed but looks totally natural. If you want support, guidance and a surgeon who you can really trust to really work to the highest possible standard, go to Mr Alvi!

After having visited Sthetix clinic and meeting with Dr Alvi for my 1st consultation, I felt very relaxed and at ease. I had previously visited other clinics and did not have the reassurance and confidence that I felt from Dr Alvi.
The staff are also very friendly and welcoming and straight away make you feel comfortable.

I think that if you have ever considered cosmetic surgery you know how much research you have to do and how many companies there are out there promising you everything.
However if you have done your research you will also find bits in the small print that leave you a little worried about 'what happens if?'
I wanted a company I could rely on to look after me, not some massive corporation in which I would be primarily a number or sales figure.
At Sthetix I got service that I could trust and an atmosphere that I felt comfortable in from the first app.
Their surgeons are qualified up to the highest standard.
I decided that this was the company that I would have my breast augmentation with.
There was no rush or pressure. I spoke directly to a surgeon and didn't deal with a sales person.
They went out of their way to book my surgery for a time that was good for me even though I had to change surgeons.
Both of the surgeons that I spoke to were great and I was both happy and comfortable with what would be happening.
I also found after having my op that I had a complication with how the implant was sitting as it had not dropped properly.
My surgeon was amazing and there was no argument about a free re-op. My happiness was at the forefront and again my surgery was booked for when it was convenient for me.
I feel after speaking to a lot of ladies that had gone to larger companies that I made the correct decision going for smaller independant company.
My op was a complete success and I am very happy with the results.

I have had two procedures at STHETIX clinic a tummy tuck and a thigh lift.. It's exactly a year ago since my tummy tuck and u can barly see any scaring my stomach muscles are tighter after loosing 8 stone .. My stomach is flat and I wore a bikini for the 1st time in my life the after care was amazing mr Alvi and his staff are a joy.. My thigh lift was April last year I can wear over the knee skirts and shorts on holiday and feel confidant realy happy.. I've had fillers and Botox too and I'm delighted with results. i have already recommended sthetix to several friends who are considering cosmetic surgery, Dr Alvi is amazing i am so happy with my results my surgery has given me lots of confidence., i was initially nervous but i was put at ease as i knew i was in good hands. everyone is very helpful and friendly at sthetix and i was always made to feel comfortable. I did a lot of research before I decided to go ahead with a breast augmentation. After having four consultations with three different companies, there was no question in my mind who was the one for me!

Sthetix made me feel comfortable straight away and I could ask as many questions as I wanted. There was no hard sell but rather a relaxed, friendly environment. The consultant fully explained the procedure, answered my questions and offered suitable choices. All other staff at the clinic were very professional too. I came back several times to go through things, for example, picking the right size!!! Never did I feel like I was wasting their time.

Renacres hospital was very clean and the staff were very attentive. I was well taken care of before and after the operation.

At my 6 week check up I mentioned that I had a slight issue with one of the implants. It was looked into straight away and without any further cost to myself. A suitable date for a slight revision was scheduled at a convenient time to me and I felt thoroughly satisfied that I had chosen the right company, as I don't think you would get this from the larger organisations.

I am very happy with my augmentation. It has given me confidence and I feel like a woman again. I have already recommended Mr Alvi to a friend, who has since had her breasts done by him too.

I really can't rate them highly enough. Everyone there is so friendly and puts you at ease and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Mr. Alvi has been doing my botox for years and my partner still doesn't know!! I've never had the frozen face look and he'll adjust it as necessary so it always looks natural.
Mr. Shabeen has also just carried out laser lipo on my neck and the results are amazing. Its only 4 weeks now and although its going to continue to improve, I'm already delighted with the results.
Seriously if you're going to go down the cosmetic surgery route, you couldn't put yourself in safer and more expert hands.

I really can not recommend Mr Alvi and his team at Sthetix enough after such a wonderful experience. I had recently discovered that I had the pip implants and that they had ruptured badly my previous clinic did not really put my mind at ease and after researching on the internet I came across Sthetix. I liked what I read and rang to make an appointment from that first phone call with Michael I felt I had found a clinic where the people really cared about their patients. I've had a couple of procedures with both Mr Alvi and Mr Shaaban and all I can say is - excellent consultations (with all queries answered fully and the best advice given), problem free procedures with fantastic hospital services, thorough follow ups and all round extremely pleasing results.

Over the years I have had eyelid surgery and breast augmentation, both procedures being performed by Mr Alvi. I have also had two previous breast augmentations, and was recommended Mr Alvi for any other cosmetic surgery by my original surgeon who was retiring. Having met several surgeons with a view to replacement breast augmentation, I finally had a consultation with Mr Alvi.
From my initial email of enquiry with the company I found Michael who called me very relaxed and professional and allowed me to feel to feel at ease.
meeting Mr Alvi his professional and many years of experience were apparent, he listened and understood my expectations within the realms of what was achievable.
The hospital was lovely and you felt special at all times, private rooms and even my favorite molton brown in the bathrooms.
Surgery and recovery were quick and less painful than first time around. Mr Alvi even rang me at home after being discharged.
On the whole a good experience, and would recommend, though I would say I myself rang the clinic a week post op as nobody had called, which I felt was a little poor to be told Michael had been on holiday, but all the same it would have been nice to have had a phone call to check upon my progress.
Now seven months on my breast are settling well and taking on a natural appearance.

After having checked out various clinics, I came across Sthetix in Knight Street Liverpool and here had a consultation with Dr Alvi.
After having a couple of consultations I found Dr Alvi to be extremely knowledgeable in everything that he does. His technology is top of the line.
After spending some time with him he filled me with the confidence which I needed to go ahead with the first procedure, that of a breast reduction.
I liked the fact that he was always truthful in the things he tells you and always gives good advice.
After years of struggling with finding clothes to fit properly and having permanent back ache and sore shoulders I went ahead with my breast reduction. I was so delighted with the results that I decided to venture on and have some liposuction.
I had Laser Liposuction on the tummy and was once again delighted with the results which have now given me the flat tummy which disappeared after having babies. As this was done in the clinic I didn’t need a hospital stay which was even better.
I have now gone even further and had liposuction on my legs and can now wear the boots that have ways evaded me.
Some filler and some Botox to finish off and I feel a new woman completely.
The staff at Sthetix are all very personable and extremely nice, making you feel comfortable at all times.
Dr Alvi is most certainly the doctor I would recommend, he is gentle, kind, easy to talk to and most definitely the person to see if you want anything doing.

I have had a couple of procedures carried out by Mr Alvi over the last few years, and I can honestly say that he is a genius!!! I did my homework, which included an awful lot of research, before choosing Sthetix for my first procedure in 2010, and I knew instantly that I'd made the correct choice.
The clinic staff were lovely and I had two consultations with Mr Alvi. I didn't feel rushed or under any pressure. He explained everything-including all the risks and possible complications, answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable.
The hospital and nursing care I received during this procedure were fantastic, and the aftercare I received, again, from Mr Alvi and the team were just brilliant. I wished I had done this years ago!!!
I have since had subsequent treatments at the clinic itself, and again, I can't fault it.
