Sthetix Cosmetic Surgery Clinic 

Had 3 consultations before I had surgery which I thought was very good. Mr alvi is very polite and made me feel very comfortable. I am pleased with the surgery. The staff at the catharine suite made my stay overnight comfortable and could not fault any part of that either. I would definitley recommend anybody to go to sthetix! I would not recommend anybody to go to new birkdale clinic in crosby as they just take your money and when things go wrong they are not interested. Their aftercare is very poor!!

I had wanted to have a breast enhancement since having my son 7 years ago. I was understandably nervous but all the staff really put me at ease.

I did visit a few clinics for consultations prior to visiting sthetix but knew straight away that this was the right clinic. All the staff were so friendly and forthcoming with sharing their experiences with me. Mr Alvi, the consultant, explained everything fully and answered all the questions I had. He then took some "before" photos and I was left to think it over for a few weeks. Unlike other clinics I was not pressured into making a decision.

On my 2nd visit Mr Alvi talked through the procedure with me again and answered my further questions. I was given a choice of 2 hospitals and chose to have the procedure in Renacres.

On the day of the operation Mr Alvi met me again and once again talked me thorough and asked if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Renacres as your chosen hospital, the staff were lovely and very attentive and I felt really looked after.

Post op sthetix called me every day to ask how I was and how my pain was. If I am completely honest the pain was not as bad as I thought it would be and upon sharing my experience with others who have had the same operation through a different clinic, they were surprised at how quickly I healed compared to them. I had a follow up appointment 2 weeks post op and another 6 weeks post op- just for Mr Alvi to check me over and take my "after" photos.

Overall I would highly recommend this clinic and don't have any negative experience at all. I have finally got the bust I have always wanted and feel that I have any problems or queries- then I have a team willing to offer support just a phone call away.

I had an excellent service throughout, the whole procedure was explained to me thoroughly both positive and negative , staff were very friendly and had excellent communication skills my surgeon was excellent Mr Alvi, would recommend anyone who is thinking of breast surgery to instruct this surgeon for the job, he was the best in my opinion. I had a small growth removed from beneath my eye, but very close to it. Mr Alvi explained carefully to me what would happen and indeed he was entirely accurate.
I felt completely confident in his opinion and the suggested procedure
He was expert in his actions and his support team were charming and set me at my ease.
I f I had need to return I would do so with complete confidence and recommend this practice without hesitation to any one who requires expert surgery.

I had a BA with Dr Alvi in April this year and I really cannot fault the service, from my initial consultation, to the hospital stay and procedure, and the aftercare. My reasons for a BA were not to have huge tits and look like a page 3 girl. I just wanted to look and feel like a woman!! It was very important to me that they would look natural and in proportion with my body, and My Alvi understood this perfectly. He was patient and very understanding, and was happy to go through all the questions I had (I had taken quite a list with me!) plus also look at the photos I took in with me of BA results I liked and ones that I didn't. The girls at sthetix are all brilliant too, so friendly and full of advice. I lost count of how many times i emailed/phoned with basic questions, and about 5 days before my surgery I had a total panic that I had chosen the wrong size but the girls let me in and stayed with me while I tried out the size I had chosen again, plus some other sizes. They were really patient, and we had a good giggle, and i went away fully reassured and excited about the op.
I can also highly recommend the hospital too. Lovely room with TV and en-suite etc (I have stayed in worse hotels) and the nurses were great. After the op they couldn't do enough for me, the food was lovely and they really made every effort to make sure I was comfortable. I saw Dr Alvi before my op, and after too, and I had several calls from the girls at Sthetix to check I was doing ok,
All in all, for me the important thing was that I was getting a BA, which is a serious operation, and not a 'boob job', and I chose Sthetix for this reason. Dr Alvi has a great sense of humour and really understood what the operation meant to me and I really felt like I was treated as an individual, with all the time given to me that I needed. If I could choose all over again I would still choose Sthetix, without hesitation!

Very aware that my face had ‘peaked’ somewhere in my very distant past, I was open to suggestions for rejuvenation (if at all possible). My friend highly recommended Sthetix Clinic in Liverpool and I booked a free consultation with Mr Alvi. Apparently my face isn’t yet desperate enough to warrant a surgical face lift and I was subsequently offered Botox and Fillers.

My idea of what botox and fillers look like put me off the idea initially (I immediately envisaged a frozen face and trout pout) so I wasn’t sure about the treatment. The mere thought of needles into my face was not pleasant but after much discussion and me asking a lot of questions (and Mr Alvi answering them all with great knowledge and detail), I put my trust in him and went with his advice. I was given lots of information and all the potential risks were thoroughly explained to me.

I was very nervous about having this done but to my amazement, the experience was far from unpleasant. The botox was a doddle (I didn’t even notice that he had started!). The fillers to my cheeks took a bit longer but genuinely didn’t cause anything more than minor discomfort. Mr Alvi and his assistant Karen worked together to keep me calm and to ensure that the whole procedure was as painless as possible. I felt totally at ease throughout and even confess to being able to enjoy a few laughs with them during the procedure!

As an amusing snippet, I have to tell you this…. As Mr Alvi is a well-renowned Plastic Surgeon who specialises in breast surgery, he has a vast quantity of implants in his treatment room. When I spotted them, I asked if I could use one as a “stress ball” during my treatment because I was so nervous. He laughed and gave me one to use. By the end of the treatment, I realised that I hadn’t even used the implant as the treatment wasn’t anywhere near as stressful or painful as I had imagined, so I was just lying there holding an implant throughout!

The effect of the fillers was immediate and my children noticed something different as soon as I got home. My 13 year old son asked “what have you done to your face?” and when I told him it was botox and fillers, he said “Mum, it’s amazing! You look 10 years younger!”. Feeling quite insulted, I continued in the direction of the kitchen to make tea…!

The Botox took control of my wrinkled forehead after about a week. In the past few weeks friends have been telling me how ‘well’ I am looking and I’ve had to confess to the divine intervention of the fabulous Mr Alvi!!

One of the ladies at Sthetix phoned me after a few days to make sure everything was ok and that I was happy with the results. I was happy to tell her that I had no bruising whatsoever and that I was simply delighted with the results. I have booked in for my next stage of treatment and I can’t wait!

I’ve just been invited to write this review and before writing it, I read some of the other reviews people have put on here. I have to say, my experience agrees wholeheartedly with what others have to say.

I had been contemplating having cosmetic work to boost my confidence. I was very pleased with Sthetix, the staff were great and my primary consultant appeared to be genuinely interested in my problem and the best way the help me. I was able to avoid big surgery and I am very satisfied with the result. I would recommend Sthetix and would use it again myself.

I Would recommend mr Alvi at Sthetix for breast uplift,he put me a ease talking me through the procedure, I left the hospital after 1 overnight stay .After 6 weeks my scars are fading If you are unhappy with your breasts go for it!

From Start to finish they made me feel at ease nothing was too much of a problem even questions you may feel silly asking!
Dr Alvi was great even after the procedure when I didn’t feel too well, I got an appointment within a day or so that fitted in with me and he checked me out and sorted any issues I had.

I have been wanting a breast augmentation for 20 years but was so nervous about the operation itself , what the staff would think of me and the stress of it all . I can't believe how wrong I was , but I think that was 100% down to Mr alvi and his amazing team . I cant rate Sthetix enough..
After a very messy job by Harley Medical, Manchester with an under eye fat transfer, I lost a lot of faith in ever getting myself looking normal again. Thanks to Dr Alvi his understanding and professional care I couldn't rate him high enough and could not be happier with the outcome of the surgery at a very good cost, even the post op treatment was A+ . Like a lot of us girls plastic surgery is either just a dream , we 'window shop' think about it , make excuses , change our minds , then eventually pic up the courage . The decision who to go to is possibly the hardest of it all, I have only been in Liverpool for six months when I decided it is time to get rid of the mommy tummy the kids are now grown up , and my breasts deserved some TLC . As a South African I considered going there for my surgery , I have friends and family in the medical field so I would have been advised to and by the best . My sister in law just had her breasts lifted and implants put in so we discussed it. I came to the conclusion price wise , and sadly with a girl on a budget this comes in consideration , with flights , recovery etc , liverpool was the better option. I asked the Angels , universe and chanted to be guided to the right place and I found Sthetix ! Well all I can say is thankyou a trillion times. I look and feel a billion pounds. My prevouisly run down confidence is sky high and I can't stop posing around in my newfound beach body !!! WOW ! Highly recommended !!

I would fully recommend Sthetix and Mr Alvi and his staff. From the day of my first consultation I instantly felt at ease and bursting with information provided. I had previously been to another company and felt uncomfortable, the doctor read out risks like he was bored and I felt like I was hassling when asking for more information. I felt like a number, just another sale.
At Sthetix this was not the case, I knew as soon as I left the first consultation I would go with Mr Alvi. My second consultation when I took my Mum along just made me even more determined as she too felt very comfortable and was given all information like it was her considering the op!
I ensured I wanted a natural look that suited my tiny frame and Mr Alvi agreed this would be best. He helped me choose the correct sized implants to ensure a natural look and I am so happy with my results.
The day of my op I again felt comfotable, not at all nervous. Was given all information and spoke again about sizes etc. I Spoke to the nurses and anesthatist before the op to explain what would happen. After the op I had to stay in for the night and again could not fault the hospital or the staff.
All in all my experience from start to finish has been amazing. I would highly recommend Mr Alvi and Sthetix and will certainly use the company for any furture procedures.

I underwent corrective surgery on my upper lip to remove a lump-like scar from an injury i had sustained around 10 years earlier, from my first consultation to my final after care appointment, the sthetix team were outstanding. The premises is inviting and comforting, the team are very friendly and informative. I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery, the surgery itself was virtually pain free and alot quicker than i had expected, i would highly reccommend sthetix to anyone considering any kind of surgery, even if you arent sure, just get in contact with them, book a consultation and i'm sure the team will help you with your decision.
