Sthetix Cosmetic Surgery Clinic 

The Sthetix clinic can be found in Liverpool’s Knight Street, not far from the edge of Chinatown and is easily identified by a sign fixed to the brickwork above the discrete entrance. Inside I was found a serene, comfortable, aesthetic interior (sorry, I was unable to resist the pun) along with a gracious welcome and pleasant cup of coffee.
Before long I was approached by Professor Vaiude who ushered me into a reception room where he asked some questions, clarified the treatment plan and introduced me to his assistant.
When I was ready I was taken into the operating theatre where I was invited to recline on a piece of furniture that might be described as being halfway between a dentist’s chair and a yielding couch.
Professor Vaiude cleaned my scalp with an antiseptic solution before beginning a long series of local anaesthetic injections to numb the area; Throughout this process Professor Vaiude not only used a gentle, effective and, from what I could tell, precise technique but also monitored my comfort levels. He was at once the focused surgeon, the courteous gentleman and the considered informant, guiding me through the entire process.
The procedure itself subsequently passed agreeably, entirely because of the outstandingly high quality of the care provided; When the surgery had been concluded I found that the experience had been far less painful than I had expected, much lighter in nature than I had estimated and substantially more pleasant than I might have imagined. You might even say that I enjoyed myself!
I shall undoubtedly be revisiting Sthetix for further treatment. I seem to have found a clinic that has been so carefully assembled from first-class elements, both human and inert, that it might truly be the model for any similar establishment.
I have no hesitation at all in giving Professor Vaiude, his colleagues and the entire Sthetix team the highest possible recommendation.

From start to finish Professor Vaiude made me feel at ease, safe and that I was in expert hands for my procedure. He was clearly experienced and knowledgeable but over and above this showed care and consideration for my concerns. The overall care I received from Professor Vaiude and the team at Sthetix was outstanding at every stage of my treatment.

I am very pleased with the results of my procedure, a year on and I have experienced no problems and have been checked several times to ensure I was recovering smoothly. I had breast augmentation in July and I could not be happier! The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I felt so comfortable and knew 100% that I was happy with my decision. I had a lot of acne scarring on my upper back, which I felt very self conscious about. Twelve months before I got married, I decided that I needed to do something about it before the day, as I didn't want to be stressed, worried or distracted on the day.
Mr Tiago talked me through the options and explained each procedure in detail. I opted to have chemical peels, which regenerates the skin cells and removes pigmentation. The process was easy and I returned for several courses. My acne is still recurrent but is a lot better than it was and my scarring has almost completely disappeared.

my experience has been life changing, as soon as I met Mr Alvi I knew he was the surgeon for me, he was so welcoming and understanding. I have had 2 surgeries with Mr Alvi and on both occasions i have received nothing but outstanding exemplary care & treatment from Mr Alvi, the hospital surgical team & staff & Sthetix staff.
I did a lot of research prior to choosing Mr Alvi as my surgeon. He is extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions with ease and was very honest and fully understand the likely outcomes of surgery. At no point did I feel pressured to make any decisions, i was given the information & offered further consultations if i required. On the day of surgery I was kept fully informed at all times by Mr Alvi and the after care was brilliant. Since I had never had surgery before and being quite young, choosing the right surgeon for breast augmentation was not something I took lightly. After extensive research but no complete satisfaction, a family friend recommended Mr Alvi; who after looking at his work had reviews second to none. I arrived for my first out of two consultations extremely nervous yet the staff at Sthetix made me so relaxed and surprisingly turned it into a more pleasant experience. Almost instantly, after meeting Mr Alvi that confirmed for me that I had made the right decision and he put all my fears to rest just in half an hour of talking to him. He answered all of my questions in detail and is such an honest and understanding surgeon who gives you the exact advice you need tailored to your own personal circumstance.

I had my operation in May due to my own commitments which meant I couldn’t have it any earlier however, when the day of surgery finally came I was surprised at how I was more excited than anything else. I arrived at the hospital and was so happy with how calm I was made to feel and I was reassured by the nurses, the lovely anaesthetist and Mr Alvi again. The operation couldn’t have gone any smoother and the quality of care at the hospital in Chester that I received was outstanding. Throughout the whole 6 weeks recovery I had one day of pain which was two days after my op, this seriously surprised me considering what I had read about going under the muscle which is what I did. However, within the end of my first week post op I could lift my arms fully up and felt myself again. I wouldn’t look any further when considering breast augmentation as this is the surgeon you need. Put it this way if I had to go through this again I wouldn’t think twice next time, all thanks to Mr Alvi and his amazing team who work so well together to produce outstanding results and one very happy patient. Now 8 weeks post op and my confidence has been enhanced massively!

Couldn't fault the service from Mr Alvi and his team. So professional and I was so well looked after by all of the staff at Stethix before, during and after my surgery. I've recommended Stethix to a few of my friends as I am so thrilled with my results and the staff I have met.

For years I have wanted to get this done but never had the courage. I went to see a number of surguans but never felt assured or happy with what they told me. Mr Khan was brilliant from start to finish and gave me a final result I was more than happy with. I'm over the moon with the final outcome and wish I would of got it done years ago. For anybody in a similar situation I would highly recommend seeing Mr Khan for the same treatment.

Absolutely fed up with this company! The entire process has been a shambles from start to finish. Firstly getting a consultation was difficult because of how busy the surgeon is which is understandable until they cancelled my initial appointment half an hour after I was scheduled for it.

After rescheduling with the surgeon at a different time and date I decided to go ahead with the procedure and was told to go to another facility to undergo testing. This was at Pall Mall Manchester where despite being anaemic they decided I wouldn't need my blood testing? I even asked them if they were sure as it seemed strange that they wouldn't want to make sure it was safe for me to undergo this procedure.

My concerns were reiterated when I arrived at the hospital on the day ready for the procedure having fasted gown on and everything and they cancelled after waiting three hours because my blood had not been tested! If the anaesthetist hadn't expressed her concern at the lack of blood tests I may have been undergoing a life changing procedure and putting my life at risk! I had already paid to extend my contract in Liverpool and for transport so that money had gone down the drain. Not only this, all the waiting was giving me such anxiety and I was wracked with nerves! Surely this information should have been relayed to the clinic who should have cancelled the procedure before I had already arrived at the hospital.

Despite all this, I wanted to go ahead at a different date and I was assured this would be possible and it was cancelled again the day before the procedure. So I asked for a refund like any sane person would however, despite being told I would receive a same day payment on the Tuesday 20th June, Thursday 22nd June and Monday 26th June I still haven't received anything!

I've rang nearly every day of the week to get my refund and have been told one reason or another why it hasn't gone through. As you can see, from the dates I've rang, I have given them time and tried to be reasonable however I just want this whole experience to be over now and to get my refund! Such a shame as I really liked the surgeon hence why I gave them a second chance and rescheduled.

UPDATE: Sthetix refunded me in early July once the manager had come back from her holidays and the process was quick and a lot easier from then on. They also refunded all my added expenses from the cancellation which was nice of them and apologised for the inconvenience many times. The staff are lovely and it's just such a shame all this happened.

Great clinic, lovely staff very helpful always there if you needed to ask any questions very reassuring. Mr Shaaban was fantastic throughout the whole procedure consultations after care etc. Would highly recommend to anybody.
